  1. some random tidbits of information: without a any sort of RC, Task C is punishable by potemkin buster if Pot IBs the hits. this is not the case with FD, due to pushback. j.K airdash down forward j.H is a tight way to continue a blockstring on an opponent who is FDing. if they arent, you can j.S instead of j.H whilst falling to accomplish the same blockstring reset. Deja Vu C YRC in the corner seems to be the best oki with tension, due to the options it gives off it, allowing you to get mixup off. 236K (teleporting task A) 's air version seems best used close to the ground(possibly TKable? it looks like it), as it allows instant overheads if it connects. (teleport in j.S airdash down forward j.H seems to be the best option off this) Task C's guard point runs out soon after he takes off the ground, not enough to be anti-aired immidiately, but a late AA could catch you (faust 6P is ridiculous against it). so its a risky move in neutral. Air task C still a combo ender, no real uses found. thats all the information i have today! the more i find out, the more i'll tell you guys.
  2. Just for curiosities sake, avid ramlethal fans, do you happen to know if her vertical sword slash hits overhead?
  3. i get the two confused too, lol. just making sure, but in response to this thread. shadowclawbkr, you should play around with other characters and see how their CT is used most commonly, and train yourself to anticipate it and barrier block. theyre pretty amazing tools, thats why they cost 25 meter. if theyre causing you a great deal of trouble, training mode it out. s'how i learnt how to deal with Litchi CT a little better! good luck.
  4. isnt it neutral A+B?
  5. a lot of CTs seem like the need to be respected, but there are ways around them. you can OD through litchi CT after 6D it's pretty beautiful. but yeah its more experimenting and finding the best way you find to deal with it.
  6. Japan confirmed to not embrace the bishieness of bedman and the pure voice of Midorikawa you just can't beat the half-naked anime jailbait eh? they're taking over
  7. yeah i wonder if her sword swings count as projectiles. cause overhead projectile + YRC = unblocks
  8. oh god, here we go. the beginning of the era of Daiji Ramlethal.
  9. wow on the official APM nico too!
  10. what makes him able to do that pressure is his second head throw, 236K. he can zone to a degree, yes, but this tool allows him to teleport in, on hit or guard, where the ball connects. its a big thing in him getting in and going crazy. also, Deja Vu C, the projectile bed slam, is a brilliant oki tool allowing him to get a lot of free mixup. i think he just has the potential mostly to do both, where zoning is his neutral, and once he gets in with momentum its hard to stop him, really.
  11. yeah i think a little more time to adapt and he'll just get stronger. his tools all have some pretty amazing potential, and his pressure can be pretty terrifying to watch when he gets going, especially because you can YRC Deja Vu moves. edit: Nico Premium members, you can watch all 7 hours, non-restreamed on Arcsys' timeshift (finally made available =_=) http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv174765129
  12. LOX going into full rushdown scares me. 236C YRC j.H 2K 2D is crazy as pressure lol. i think HellDoll is probably the most /consistent/ of the 3 big names we get footage of. he's very stable in both offense and defense. (he has a few 1HS gimmicks though, hahah)
  13. i wish his 236C had guard point as good as any of anji's. then it'd work as a reversal ahahaha
  14. i like you, despite the edit. Bedman gets infinitely more interesting (despite my huge love affair for him) when i see LOX play him. dude does some next level crazy things. Tsubu is tamer than i thought he'd be.
  15. knows his character well, just like in UNiEL. thanks, btw! just trying to piece together an idea of what asuna will struggle with, cause if this drops on console i'd plan to play her.
  16. do you know Jin's rates btw? he should still be no.1 Asuna, im just curious who he's losing to most.
  17. they dont /seem/ to be new. im sure ive heard Ryuhi's name before. theyre probably rural area players. and im sure jourdal/goldenrody or someone will use the restreams archives to upload to YT. ASW didnt enable timeshifts :/ i am not a venom player, but ive watched a fair amount of play. i'd say they are equals in play, but i will say heven seems to have a stronger style in terms of defense. Also Machaboo brought out Dragon Install in the last match and well ive never seen DI Sol crank a guard bar so fast lmao. scary stuff. he's just... amazingly adaptive so far in Xrd.
  18. i have access to the archives, but no way to rip them because i am bad at that stuff. if you have nico premium, i linked time shift archives of it.
  19. Leisureland Akibahara its got the most high level UNiEL and DFC players now.
  20. they made no mention of an update, simply said 'this is also available' when talking about the game.
  21. nice to see LL players dominating the leaderboards in another FB made game :P
  22. hey Elven, do you know if LOX Bedman showed up? i know HellDoll and Tsubu were there, but i didnt see him. theres also a 10 Dan Bedman who was literally referred to as "GG PLAYER-san" and im curious who that is. also, if anyone has Nico Premium and plans to rip the video(i failed miserably because nicofox doesnt work with it for me), ASW havent released timeshift archives, BUT this guy re-streamed the entire tournament and has it archived http://com.nicovideo.jp/live_archives/co1947030?side_bar=1
  23. And the winner is... Machaboo! Heven placed 2nd.
  24. 5th April 2014 Mikado Casuals:] Tsubu (Bedman) vs FAB (Potemkin) and Fujin (Slayer) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ai-YP6pnFNk
  25. for everyone curious; the official tournament is tomorrow (today in Japan technically) at Leisureland Akibahara. (on the third floor if anyone plans to go.) there's a beginners/intermediate tournament before which is 2on2 before the 1on1. the 1on1 starts at 3pm. there is also a women's tournament, according to the information. (woo!) Also as godsgarden is a sponsor, im not sure if that means they, or LLAKB will handle the streaming. so it'll either be here or on godsgarden.
