Could you always do 2AC to delay the assist beam? Even though I main'd sumo in exvs, I never noticed. Just tried him in FB today and noticed that, so maybe that's new. Similarly, I can't remember if the Universe shield only blocked beams before, but it was blocking EZ8's mortars in FB, at least. Maybe it did that before and I just can't remember ┐(´ー｀)┌

Also, I think the OP is mistaken with AB in MA mode, as one button press won't fire all 3, it's one per press I believe.

Does anyone use the CSA ever? The charge is so slow and the beam is fairly thin, I never bother.

I'm not sure if their armour changes during normal summons or when you summon them during stealth field, but they seem quite armoured normally. They can withstand most of a virsago or ZZ gerobi for example, or outlast it if they come out after the gero is fired. If you're close enough, doing ACDir (the sword assist) through a gerobi is hilarious. It just rushes right through it and you see the gero gradually reduce until the assist hits them.

I dunno about never half bursting. Also the tomahawk part during melee is odd since if you hit them with it, it's probably better to beam then leave. Why go in for melee?

Yeah, thinking the same thing. Unless you do it really pre-emptively and someone runs into it in front of you, I don't see the use.

Got 3 stars with her now, hoorah. What's the deal with CSA? Is it any good? I've used it a handful of times just when i'm like "why not" and I don't understand the spread pattern. Sometimes i seems very focussed and won't spread out even over a distance and sometimes it erupts from her with a really open spread.

Seems like you don't lose points in ranked for losing now. Edit: NM just lost some, but I just reached the 'second tier' of ranks (blue? purple? colourblindlol~) so not sure if you have to reach that first or if I just wasn't losing any before. Edit2: Ranked is currently EX-S spree. Is that red lock glitch still in the latest patched version? Maybe that's why :v

Alright it's only been like an hour but I can sort of tell who I like / dislike, most of which is confirmation from what I figured while playing the arcade version. In order of selection menu: MK2 seems whatever, same as what I thought in arcades. Hambrabi is cool; I like that BC is MA mode. Victory is hilarious. I want to just fly around without his legs and arms but as far as I can tell you can't stop and just fly around until you overheat and forceable get limbs back. Spiegel is cool as well but movement seems kind of odd. Never used in arcades. WZTV is great. Really fast. Not even using Epyon yet, don't care. X-Divider is weird. I like this MG and all weapons but his movement and sliding along the ground is really weird and seems like it takes some getting used to. Turn A isn't new but really great. Will probably be the main 3K suit I use. Liked in EXVS but way way better in FB. Kapool is whatever but seeing Sochie pop out is cute. I don't know why this suit is so low tiered, seems like you can run around and fire forever and the MG seems to knock down kind of fast. Dual AS is whatever, barely used. Impulse is cool, I like the melee mode a lot. Gaia meh, seems like poo but the meteor hop in dog mode is cool. Stargazer I didn't like in the arcades and still don't like. I guess the melee thing makes it seem very weird. Reborns seems like he can shoot forever but something about the movement seems strange, like it's very stop and go without much momentum. Hard to describe but whatever. Throne drei I like. I want to just fly away and use the assist thing and watch the fight from the sky and not do anything all round. Banshee is weird. I don't understand why the tier is so high. In her 'second mode' whatever it's called I get since she's really fast and the BR gets better but I don't know. Looks cool at least ┐(´ー｀)┌ Rozen Zulu psycho jammaaaaaaa Gerbera Tetra didn't use in arcade or now so shrug. X3 I really really like. Seems quite basic to use but I think it's really fun, will probably use this a lot. Efreet is cool as well. I like the exam system charge but his normal shot is kind of bad. Seems like the funnest 1K to me, though. EX-S didn't use but the CPU keeps picking it. lol @ no pilot. Extreme Xenon and Eclipse are really cool as expected. I used Eclipse in arcades but never Xenon. Both are fun but the initial mode is terrible. No wonder it auto changes! Aios is whatever I'd rather use one of the other two, but his kashtriya fence style shot is cool. That's it.

Okay, confirming I was right earlier, for the first to second transformation, if you're getting damaged you automatically transform. Edit: It's while attacking as well, as far as I can see you can't hold the initial transformation, it just does automatically at 100 (which makes sense since mode 1 is gagbage)
