Gato's 6B is the same as Char's. Char had a melee counter for his BC. The boomerang's control, reloading on AC, and CSa (though I was hoping the charge time would be a little shorter) seem to make this a stable alternative to Chargoog. Will definitely be trying them side-by-side online to see how it performs.

Lmao that episode was...something alright. Abridged version all day. Maybe it's because I just woke up, but this guy seems to have hella boost. Despite being all around slow, the distance he sends people with his combos and BC's speed are really appealing. Still not sure what to think of the rocks yet, but it's nice that AB has some shield properties and doesn't fall in an arc like a does. EDIT: Lmao of course he would when you set the boost to 200% on accident...

[FB] 2000s Moveset and Combo Compilation [12/41]
allenpergallon replied to burgerkong's topic in 2000 Cost Suits
Really, really liking these lists so far BK, especially those dedicated combo sections and the heads-ups on amekyans and the like. I'm not sure if the JP wiki mentioned it, but Forbidden's 2B has I-field protection on the shoulders during the wind-up. I just messed around with it to test my fixed second controller, and it stays mostly solid in a 30 degree arc in front of Forbidden and is (seemingly) guaranteed protection directly ahead until he swings. Anywhere else seems dependent on where the shoulder fields are at the moment. I didn't try out BZ's, but it's fine against beams and MG's. Also, I was only able to get a max of ~195 degrees for the actual attack. I'd have to try things like different elevations and such, but even if the graphic says otherwise the scythe doesn't seem to hit far behind 180 degrees. -
Outside of Next and Next+, which games was Eternal Wind featured in in that style? I could possibly try ripping audio from them despite not having ripped audio in ages... I guess I should try that for Next+ while I'm at it anyway.

[FB] Ex-S Gundam General: Look ma! No pilot!
allenpergallon replied to AirMaster's topic in 3000 Cost Suits
Outside of CSa and BC->BC, all of its attacks still work in MA mode with normal tracking as well. AC stops mid-air and turns directly to the target to fire, and BC fires the incoms from behind while maintaining motion. Because it has to launch the incoms, there's about a second that you can't change back to MS form because of the animation. That being said, if for some reason you're ever in MA mode and nearing overheat, this can give you a little more flight time and a BC setup if you need either of them. -
Yeah, one would need a rip from one of the past games since the song in the games is mixed a little differently than the CD release. Unless there's an instrumental of the song floating around, that's probably the only option. I would record it from Next+ but this computer is delightfully against PSP recording.

Seeing these requests so far makes it hard to believe that I missed some of these songs on my initial tracklist. Gundam music 2stronk Updated the Requests folder with "Combat" (CCA), "Banshee" (Unicorn), and "Innovade & Innovator" (00: AotT). If there's any preference or wanted change with any of them then don't hesistate to ask.

The actual name of the track is 始まりが故 . The OSTs I have are already pre-translated, though they aren't perfect. For example, "That Red Flash Guy" from First gundam (II: Soliders of Sorrow to be exact) was translated as "Red Comet", which isn't defined or thoroughly implied by its original title 赤い閃光の奴 (not to mention Akai Suisei is already in Premium G). Granted, outside of that specific case I admittedly didnt check each and every title for accuracy, mainly because I used the Special releases for Zeta and ZZ which share the same songs as their respective OSTs but have them titled differently (and general laziness). Every so often I'd spot check a song, and the translations were typically on the mark. My language skills beyond katakana are a bit limited, but from what I can gather "Late Start" makes sense in that "Late" implies a sort of dead-on-arrival operation/battle/whatever scenarios it was used for in the show, and not so much a time issue. Of course it doesn't have to apply to any specific scenes, but I think that's what it's getting at.

I think most can all agree Doan is with GN-X in the purchase tier. I didn't expect to be interested in Gato's Gelgoog, though. As much as I like using Char's Gelgoog, I have to admit it can still be a pain getting consistent output with him at my current level due to his double charging and CSa's charge time. Gato seems to be alleviating that for something a bit more standard. Assuming the beam naganata saber throw and assist reloads, the unit could make up for lack of Lalah/any power from CSb's multiple charge levels.

It's been awhile since I've been through but I hope to be checking in a bit more consistently now. I've updated the project dropbox with a new Requests folder, starting with those from KnightSV ("Late Start" from SEED Destiny) and Airmaster ("Breaking Anti-Aircraft Fire" from Zeta). I've given them redundant numbering so they should be grouped with their appropriate series if you have the rest of the project in-game.

Feel free to make a specific request, but make note of its place in this project (I updated the second post). Assuming it's a possible extension, it shouldn't be any trouble. ...a-assuming you're asking me and are asking for a loop edit.

[FB] Gundam EXVS Simple Q&A Thread - Ask Anything!
allenpergallon replied to brett_'s topic in Gundam Extreme Versus
So... how have people gone about calculating damage for everything exactly? Considering the game doesn't have a dedicated training mode showing damage statistics and the like, it's always been a curious thought. Was it just something tested between 2 or more players manually recording the damage they do to each other one move at a time or is there something I'm missing? Inb4somethingI'mmissing. Also, why doesn't this game have a training mo- -
Yeah, it follows the tag number. I decided to go back to my original plan with the project and keep all of the loops to units in the game only, As such, after adding/removing a few tracks last minute I went through and numbered everything from 1 to 115, giving the project as a whole some closure after almost 4 months on and off. As much as I love working with songs, there doesn't really seem to be need to spend more time on expanding it, old requests be damned. As of now I'm just waiting for dropbox to update and sync everything again. Any word on whether or not it would be taboo to update the OP with a tracklist and general notes?

uggggggggghhhhhhhh... And it's not even a 2K at least. Major disappointment with the Victory, despite Marbet's nice burst cut-in.Even if the Shrike assist works anything like Gun-EZ's, I doubt it's enough to warrant a purchase (though considering how much I play Victory, I may end up getting it some time down the line). It's in the running with Zeta Zaku for laziest clone so far perhaps? As for Elle's Mk-II, all I can really say I like about it is that its Burst Attack looks cool at a glance. Depending on what you can do with the assists in terms of movement, I may consider buying it instead of ruling it out forever like a number of the other clones. It's nothing to rush to as of now though. Either way, hurrah for the Gundam Team! Our dreams lie in Doan's hands. Also clone-ception with Elle having a photo from Marbet's section...

Heard that, I'll be on the look out. Also my question was actually geared towards how the list of songs is organized when picking a song. For example, if you open the Premium G sound edition song list in-game to choose a song and everything is listed from the original Gundam (mostly) chronologically down to the Extreme VS themes. My project is all under one album, and is segmented in folders by series release date. When importing it all at once to the PS3 XMB, everything is neatly ordered as such. In-game, though, the entire list is reverse-order with a few tracks slightly out of place. It's probably something quickly remedied by giving each track a numbered place, but considering that I kept adding to this project over the months I haven't really been able to come up with an alternate solution. In the end, the only surefire method I can think of is cutting it off at songs representing units in the game (as originally planned) and giving it a finite tracklist so these songs can be numbered.

-Annnnd reserving this just in case- -3/28/- The main purpose of this project, outside of fufilling my own wants that the game or Premium G Sound edition didnt provide, was to give those that didn't buy the Premium G edition some variety and use out of the custom BGM feature. Initially released pre-Christmas 2013 at roughly 68 songs, the project has since gone on to almost double through a number of requests and my own personal desire to see it expand (too many OP songs in the gundam-verse). Because of my original intentions to have songs only represent units in the game and the general size of it, as of now I'm through with large updates to it. Tracklist: General Notes: Unit Theme Suggestions:

So I started a big custom BGM project on Gamefaqs in the coming months before Full Boost released, and it continued even after the game dropped to include over 100 songs. As of today's update, which added the project's first AGE songs, the topic was unfortunately struck down. It was getting some fair attention, and I had anticipated to find the project a new home eventually, but bleh... I was wondering if dedicating a topic to it here would be possible? I'm unsure of dustloop's legal moderation in comparison to Gamefaqs', and whether or not rules care about the benign nature of the project. I noticed some other BGM topics, though they lack any vocal tracks and are more concise, so I'm a bit wary of the chances (despite the fact that starting this topic anyway makes that somewhat moot). I won't put up any tracklist details or the like as of yet, but the project itself is in my signature if song choice matters. Everything is looped 10 minutes pretty cleanly with 2 or 3 intentional exceptions. Granted, I don't have my change-log anymore so it's really just a tracklist and notes on those exceptions that would be here... I also had the related question of if anyone is familiar with the organization of music listed in-game, but if this topic is a no-go then I'll probably shoot over to the dedicated question thread for that.

May pick up Zaku Zeta, haven't touched Gaia so no reason to pick up Waltfeld as of yet. Poe...ohgod. It's probably well wishing at this point, but I really hope they change up Hexa's gameplay from parts shooting. Give it Shrike Team/Odelo+Tomache assists, a Mega Beam Rifle/Beam Smart Gun timed power up, maybe hip VSRB's or/and the Overhang pack during burst, and an similar to Luna-Impulse's burst for a Burst Attack and it would be amazing. Probably a bit OP, but I'd rather something with obvious givens to make it unique than more copypaste nonsense. Especially in this case where parts shooting would... literally be nonsense for Marbet. Either way, still looking forward to it despite unlikely high hopes. I'm moving on to main Uso's Victory so it will be interesting to see its performance at a higher cost.

[MB] The Maxi Boost General Discussion Thread
allenpergallon replied to Setsuna Yuki's topic in Gundam Extreme Versus
"Back to Paradise" from 0083 and "00 Gundam" from 00 are also in, musically. It's funny how what we know so far closely mirrors my own bgm project for Full Boost. Here's hoping that whenever Maxi Boost comes to console they expand on the custom music feature a bit though, there are some smart fixes for its limitations. While the game still feels a bit strange to look at what with 1500 cost, HP buffs, general cost changes and the overdrive system, I gotta say I'm liking what they did to Side 7. Also, GP02's "Sieg Zeon!" is too hype. Now to go debate if I'll extend all the music I missed for MB... -
[FB] God Gundam General Discussion: The King of Hearts!
allenpergallon replied to Sharakonta's topic in 2500 Cost Suits
So I was dabbling around with God the other day and am really liking the change of pace as a melee suit. One question I've always wondered since EXVS though is if there are any specific situations in which Sekiha Love Love Tenkyouken can be viable? I know in a game like this there are a billion and one "situations" one can be in but ever since I've first seen this move I've never been able to fathom its use. The best I've been able to think of is hiding the buildup to the Burger King behind a building and praying on the explosion and unaware opponents. It's a silly thing to focus on, yeah, but I guess I could say it's been burning in the back of my mind for the longest time. -
Well I'm curious on the durability of 8BC as well, but I was actually indeed wondering about the hammer twirl. I recall blocking a few stray BR shots in the past with it and it's definitely a melee attack, but I've never really paid it much mind to gauge how reliable it is in certain scenarios.
-
Funnily enough, I recall once going yolo Wings of Light with V2 AB and beating out Moonlight Butterfly as well in a funny exchange... Since I don't have much time to test out things (let alone play the game ;_;!!!), does anyone know off-hand what and how much ∀'s 2B can soak up? Can it be effectively used as anti-melee as well?
-
Thing is, it comes up even when joining a room of one. What would I be checking my network settings for exactly? Coincidentally I just got out of a packed room...
-
Lol, yeah I actually tried joining your room before and after I got your invite not too long ago, but I still ran into this incessant error upon attempting to join. Collapsed: plzstahp: It's not my connection timing out, but I guess I can give it another check... At least this has given me some time to check out more units, but CPU's can only do so much for ya.
-
Well I only try Quick Match when I've exhausted the time I have only to fail to get in rooms through Custom Match. It's either that or I back out and train/FB missions. Normally I use Custom Match, which unless I missed something is the default way to search for rooms? I'm still getting my feet wet when it comes to an expanded friends list, but I suppose I could try that option next...
