Literally just bought this game like ten minutes ago, it's downloading as we speak. I won't be online for a few because I'll be learning from the ground up, but feel free to add me for matches once I start getting a hang of the game. My psn is the same as my username on here.

Every online plays like a moron, and I'm not learning anything playing, even if I win. I need some people around my skill level that play the game correctly to spar with, so I can actually learn something and get better. My psn is illness690. I'm terribly frustrated. I'm not new to fighters, but I consider myself new to this game in the sense that I have no idea what every character does, so I get hit with random things in matches where I don't know the matchup that I probably shouldn't be getting hit by. I have no idea if I'm even playing the character correctly. What should I be doing in general with Mitsuru at the very beginning of the match? Press 5A? A coup? What should I do if they immediately IAD in? Can 5A anti air an IAD? What blockstrings should I be using when I apply pressure? 5AAA 5B 2AB ACoup? Or something else? What kind of Oki should I be doing with Mitsuru? What kind of mixups does she have? What should I be doing in the neutral game with her? I usually try to rushdown with her by closing the gap with A coup and applying pressure with 5A strings into sweep. Any help, advice, or points in the right direction to find this info myself would be greatly appreciated. I really like this game, and I really want to get better at it, especially with ultimax right around the corner. I've been playing SF4 and all its iterations since 2009 and I haven't had nearly as much fun playing that game as I am with this one.

Ok so I'm a umvc3/sfae/Tekken player who's a complete noob at bb. I don't understand how the neutral game works. Since it's got air dashes I automatically play like it's marvel and try to dash in recklessly and get a hit to start my combo, but it almost never works, and I get blown up for it. I guess it's cuz in marvel you've got assists to cover your rushdown, but there's no assists in bb, so how do you get in? Is the neutral game footsie based or something? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I play Bullet btw if that's any help.

I'm getting the game tmrw morning as soon as gamestop opens. I plan on spending a lot of time in the lab before playing online, since I'm pretty much learning the game from scratch all over again, but I'd definitely like to play you once I feel like I'm ready to play other people.

That song was obnoxious, but the trailer itself was cool. Hopefully this will still be on ps3. I don't want to upgrade to a ps4 just yet.

I only played Makoto, but I barely scratched the surface with her lol, I only knew a couple simple bnbs. I still consider myself a complete noob at BB.

At the time I was also playing TTT2, SF4 AE, UMVC3, KOFXIII, and P4A, so yeah, didn't really feel like hopping into another game that had tons of skilled vets that have been playing since the beginning, I was already invested in the other fighters I mentioned. Now I only play AE and Gundam EXVSFB seriously, so I have time to invest in BBCP.

I've messed around with BBCSEX a bit, and I dropped it because I constantly got destroyed online, so I wasn't really learning anything. I'm really interested in importing BBCP, but I'd pretty much be a complete noob at the game, and I'm wondering if there's even any point in me learning the game at this point, since pretty much everyone is a killer because they've been playing since the first game. Also what's the online community like? Are a lot of people playing this game? I could rarely find a match in BBCSEX. I want to know these things before I fork over 71 bucks.

You're completely right, my melee game is pretty terrible, and so is my neutral. I watched a tutorial that showed me so many techniques that I wasn't using at all. I really need to start paying attention to both opponents more, and get within range. Thanks for the advice.

Yeah, one thing I'm noticing more and more about this game as that there's so much to pay attention to while you're playing. There's more than one enemy you're facing, and that's something I'm still having to get used to. I'm so used to only having one opponent in fighting games. I also realize that I do tend to boost myself into the edge of the stage, I need to be more aware of my stage positioning. I watched a tutorial on youtube that showed me a ton of different techniques involving movement, including a way to make your suit always face your opponent after a boost jump. I've gotta practice that stuff more.
