Its not as cut and dry as that. If you're really close, you COULD be in their normal throw range, if you're running, the momentum COULD PUT you in their throw range, if they instant block, you COULD maybe NOT get OUT of their throw range. its just a matter of how close you get when you do it, by all means it could be perfectly safe from throws if you do it from the correct distance, even if they IB, its just a matter of distance. -
Yes, if everyone slashbacked and throwbreaks, no one would ever attack, thus the tiers are perfectly even.

A thing about GG, well most fighting games really, you cant really wait to see it happen, so much as you have to know it happened once you have done it. But to start out, just slow down, either using k or s, just slowly do the motion, and hold the MF, scoot your finger over to heavy. Get a rhythm going. Once you can do it comfortably a good ten/twenty/thirty time in a row, however long it takes, speed it up. Keep going til you barely notice him enter MF stance. I'm always looking for people to play, especially right now cuz I'm wanting to practice for a tourney this weekend, I live right by the galleria at the moment (plan to move a lil further west down westhiemer or richmond in a month or two) and would be up for some games most anytime, I can bring some friends but most of em are crappy :p. You should totally try to make it to regionals this weekend. Depending on where you are I may even be able to give you a lift.

On a basic setup __S__ P___H __K__ I just felt it was easiest on my thumb to use Slash MF, while holding down slash, just roll the rest of your thumb over heavy and release them at the same time. I also experimented with using the Kick one and rolling the SIDE of your thumb over Heavy. Works well if you have big fingers >.> PS, you're a houston player?, why havent I seen your ass :-p

for the sidewinder after the air dash, its just a matter of letting the controller go neutral after pushing forward. 8~66 *neutral* 236 H 96 *neutral* 236 H If that doesnt do it for you, can you try inputting a backwards motion just to get your own rhythm going, if you try airdash ~ 41236H (or 4236) instead of just 236 you should get it. -

jump > 2K (hold kick) ~ 4S (or punch) ~ let go and do any attack, generally k or h in english, jump, push down plus kick, then immediately after, push back and either punch or slash, let go and perform your attack immediately after that.

Don't know if this is really noteworthy and don't know who already knows about it, but I'll explain and ask about it anyways. Faust (and a few (actually a good chuck if you do wierd shit) can get two homing jumps off a dust. For example 5d > homing jump > FDC j.H l> homing jump > combo, (Its just a matter of getting the second jump off before the homing jump "window" is over) but generally this just takes off the amount of time you're in the air combing, was just wondering if anyone has been able to make use of this. (really I just ask cuz I'm trying to put some flashy shit together, but who knows, it may actually be useful) Chipp and Jam can both 5D > j.2K l> homing jump combo, but Faust is the only one it seems might be able to actually get anything worthwhile out of this.

don't superjump after hf break or you won't be able to potbuster after j.p, j.k as for the combo being black, you'll have to improvise on lighter characters, like I don't believe that exact set-up will work on faust and some other lighter characters. Also, its somewhat tight timing hitting the j.p after the break. As for the motion, personally I try 6321476 or just a full 360 motion (632147896). not a top pot player, but there's my two cents

It'll work on many characters, its just strict timing on the dust...which is immidiately after you leave the ground, you can't really look for the jump before you do it, u just have to know that you're jumping, as for j.p, j.p, j.k, if they're in the air it shouldnt be an issue landing it, but if you mean how to combo it on a grounded opponent, ur gonna have to do the combo while you're airdashing so that you maintain enough velocity to stay in the air long enough for the j.k to come out just air dash low and start punching

Just looking for a quick answer, I'm essentially a complete eddie newb trying to figure out how to play by doing random shit, but I came up with (sure its been come up with before) but for startup > knockdown, I did 6K > 214S FRC > 66 > 5P > 2[D] > 236H > -D- > 22D ([K]) > -K- > 214[K] > 41236S > -K- > 214[K] > 41236S but after this, I keep being slightly off, but I'm wondering it its possible to get a legit 22H FRC unblockable at this point off the slide, corner or not.
