One I was gonna use in a multi-char combo vid, but thats turning into something else 5K > 5S > 2D > Rensen FRC > IAD j.D l> rensen FRC > IAD j.D l> rensen FRC > IAD j.D l> rensen FRC l> IAD j.D > bomber > rensen ~ 2 its a PAIN IN THE ASS to do, you have to be air dash as soon as you frc, then be holding back immediately upon air dashing (FRC > 9564 motion), so then you have to be hitting the j.D as low to the ground as possible every time. I can hit it on both slayer and faust, on 3 others, can't remember who, it didn't work so not sure who all it does/doesn't work on. I've always started mid screen and drug them to the corner, atm I don't feel like spending the time testing it out, but I think you may be able to carry them from one corner to the other this way. It really doesn't look that great, but the execution is as hard as anything you'll find in an axl vid. If you don't believe me, try getting that 3 reps to be a non-blackbeat combo.
  2. 6c, 2c, 523C/D (A/B from far enough), both supers... its nice, at least to me, that jin has so many options to beat rachel's j.2C and other jump-ins
  3. yes to the first thing, 236a works fine after 2C, my bad, it does more damage to omit the j.A but the combo becomes less consistent on a lot of the cast like rin/sakura, I do all 3 hits because it makes generally all the characters heavy enough to continue the rest of the combo (dont do it on like berserker/kirie). The 623A > 2147x~C is again char dependant. the "TK mashfest" is a better combo, it does more damage faster = less meter for opponent, its easier imo, and it gives you more bar faster meaning it can lead to more 100%s (not that I'm landing 100% consistently ). And what is this good damage ender business? I don't try to stop unless they're dead
  4. 5k > aerial jam, believe it (really, it beats almost everything she has from the air from max-mid distance) 2D is nice, but it loses clean to jams 2S which from my experience I see a lot from jam, and if it whiffs, she as much as anyone in the cast is quick to punish. It's hard to call this one though, I'd hate to be wrong about this, but it just seems like you're a lot better than the jam player, you played really well and safe and the few times you didn't I'm thinking you just felt you could get away with it against that player, and you did. Your play was pretty solid, the only obvious advice is just the combos, you could turn a lot of that into bigger damage but I'm sure you already know that, if you want specifics just ask and I'll check through your vids again and try to give examples. I'd like to see you play against better players though before I really try to break down stuff that you may already know. ps, steve says hi

  7. j.D does more damage when it freezes simply because 99% of the time it freezes you can do SOMETHING to continue the combo, I haven't actually checked to see if its more per hit though. Jin has a lot of options to continue pressure strings, just none of them are fullproof, at the same time, thanks to the variety you can get away with a lot and it can be pretty easy to bait counterhits. As far as blockstrings go x > x > 5C > 6C or 5D > dash cancel ... this will double the length of your pressure string as long as the other guy isn't expecting it and mashes out 2A or a DP x > x > 5C > 6C > 6D ... if you start dash canceling you'll catch a lot of people poking into your 6D for a free combo, if not, as long as the 6D makes it out your safe on block or whiff. x > x > 5C > jump cancel > j.B > j.C > ground string x > x > x > B/C/D hair car > RC on block, most people if they know the move will try to punish this everytime they see it, RC it late and its an easy punish that may also get them scared of punishing which leads to... x > x > x > 214A > Throw x > x > 6B > j.236 A/B/C/D a safe way to end most strings, and leaves jin at a range he fairs well at, pretty much the same as ending with a ground B fireball obviously theres more, just test stuff out also, I dont think his overhead sucks, its uses are just a little more limited than the amazing 6As of say ragna or rachel which arent even overheads I don't know about you, but I feel that it puts them in enough hit/blockstun to hitcomfirm. On a hit in corner, cancel into 214D to corner combo, anywhere else, just cancel into haircar or super pretty much. On block, cancel into fireball. For catching rollers, his 5B attack will be active for the best ration of fastest/longest, but his 5C will cover better ground and lead to more damage...don't whiff it though. generally though I tend to just chase rollers with 2A, hitconfirm into 5B 5C air combo

But yeah, first up we should prolly alienate all the PZ players into hardcore training so they'll try to jump in our ranks. Next I should prolly go challenge everyone at Final Round and tell them that the luchamaster is gonna hand them their ass and that airmaster has my back. Btw, are you done with baiken yet? If not, I might pick up ky, then I'll be the lightningmaster.   22. leysritt is beastly, Is she playable in the arcades/tourney legal? the speed throws me off, she's not too slow per-se, but after playing about 10 matches with her and switching to saber it felt like the game went into fast motion guruguruguru...
  23. you probably have to do 6239 into it, and you have to push the attack button immediately upon finishing the motion, anything slower and you'll do the jump, anything sooner and you wont get the jump cancel. One way to know you did it right is you will get a small blue shadow behind your attacks as if you had superjumped, its kinda hard to notice unless you're looking for it.
  24. I can TK once easily, but with saber, I have to TK multiple shit in a row and I screw it up consistently unless I'm facing the right >.> or playing stick
