There were 45 entrants at Sabo, but I couldn't make it, seeing how I know who got 3rd, I'm guessing that Marvin probably got first. But yeah that definitely wouldn't have been alright to open at the dealers hall. Also I learned how to play Tanto Cuore (it's just dominion) and some card game that I can't pronounce. I want to grind P4A, but there's also like 6 other things I wanna do this week, so hazbats round 1 for me is probably going to be a complete loss for me, but maybe I can snag top 8. Ray I'll probably call/text you tomorrow but either you meet me at Vzias or I stop by your place to get my stuff and then we go to Vzias and then we should put water on our Vzias and play the resulting game at PCP, my last panel ends at 2:30 so I'll probably leave around 3ish assuming I don't get roped into something I didn't sign up for again. Armando, your post sounds kinda hateful, but it's a moot point since we made the decision, and the decision is MORE IS BETTER In an effort to not fuck over Tucson we're just going to run the Danisen style meetups at UAT on days that aren't HazBats. Easypeasy done deal.

Yeah that actually sounds great, I'm down for a money-less casual thing if that's what people want, but I wonder if Haz would still just wanna do the Hazbats themselves if we're not doing anything money-oriented. I think a lot of this needs to be sorted out through chat before any solid decisions are made, but it seems like people are down for anything at this point so that's good. Well I think that was one of the main pros to having it at UAT is less money per person and a bathroom that isn't used by 80 people. TBH, I dunno how people got banned from Haz's but SRK is so full of drama that I can't shake the feeling that people are banned over menial shit. I would prefer that the ranbats are run on PS3's as well, just because most people that play P4A play it on that system and if we have people bring setups it will be mostly on PS3. Anyways, I think another big point that Tristan brought up, and I agree with is that P4A is being treated as a placeholder just because they cancelled SFxT, I don't wanna keep playing second fiddle to everything else and I think we should run it ourselves. Justin, I'm not really understanding the Denisan thing you're talking about, are you talking about a bootcamp type thing? Or just have casuals at UAT? I think we could do casuals and a ranbat on the same day assuming we have enough setups, the plan is still to run a 4 session ranbat season regardless if it's at Haz's or not. I plan on talking with Keith and Tristan on a Facebook chat at some point hopefully, if you wanna give your two cents I can invite you if you're online. Ok guys, I wanna hear from everybody on this, we're now thinking about having the P4A ranbats at UAT on the same days at the Hazbats for many reasons, some of the plus reasons being that there won't be a venue fee and it's closer to a lot of people AND we won't be cramped with all the players from other games. Apparently there were about 40 players at Keith's tourney, and I know a lot of you here weren't able to make it, so that's pretty impressive and I'm excited to meet and play them. Now assuming we can get UAT (work in progress) we wanna know what people would prefer as far as entry fee, now apparently we can get some prize sponsorship for season top 3 to make it worth the while for those who are aiming for the top, but in an effort to get as good as a turnout as Keith's tournament did we were considering lowering the entry fee to 3 or maybe even 1 dollar per person, you can do the math for a 70/20/10 or 60/25/15 split (still being decided) but it's definitely a lot less for each player in top 3 per night. Anyways, I want to know who wants big money over who wants to try to make the ranbats more accessible to newcomers who don't want to bet 5 dollars on their skills. Set-ups won't be a big issue but help will be appreciated, and there will be streaming/recording (I emphasize the recording part) Let me know what ya'll think, thanks.

Apparently, for similar reasons why LevelupSeries didn't stream Rev, Xie didn't show up along with many other big names, just support issues. Well, I was hyped for the GG release until I read that the initial release will be just GGXXAC, I'll wait to buy it once it gets patched to R. GG's blah blah.

Well Ray knew that Haz was streaming it for a long time now, half the reason he pitched the idea to go to me in the first place was due to that fact. I reserved the hotel awhile ago and it was non-refundable so I couldn't cancel. Anyways I got some match-up experience with Kanji and Teddie, all I learned was that Teddie is gay. Justin, most of the P4A players weren't anything special, us included but there were some that stood out, an Elizabeth named Motempest, a Naoto named Bond, and this guy Kasou who provided an excellent display of why Mitsuru is the best character in the game. There was also a pretty decent Teddie, who I was playing a lot against, and ComboFiend's Shadow Labrys inspired me to practice a bit more with that character. I really wanted to get some tips from some Aigis players but there weren't any, the only guy who was messing with her was maining Yosuke instead because his Aigis "wasn't ready". Anyways, casuals were a lot of fun once they got rolling, but I wish I had known there were some more poverty hotels around, probably could have saved some money.
