After retrying Aigis's trial 27 like 50 times I have the timing down pretty nice, the trick is to hit the buttons at the same time, I couldn't reach 15 in the short window it gives you by alternating A and B. You actually get a few frames to hit C after you reach 15. Marq you haven't responded to me, now I gotta call you, you done goofed son.

It's only worth doing the first 3 or 4 hits of a Dial-A combo, the proration on a moves makes using 50% meter at the end complete ass, I think it was clever to have it give 13 meter for hitting the 3rd hit, gives people a reason to actually use the Dial-A combo once or twice a match in higher level play. Marq you still having people over tomorrow? I gotta play as much as possible before RevLAtions.

Wow this game is harder than I thought it would be, but I love it, so far the characters I've messed with don't have any Shoryuken inputs and the command interpreter is smooth like eggs. I'm still going to stick mainly with Aigis for awhile, but she's not autopilot like I thought she was. I'm having a lot of fun with Liz too but I had no idea there were so many links in these combos. But I digress...... Carlos I'm still at the same house you and Dan and Orrax came to play GG at last year. Erik, in case you missed it, I posted that yesterday, and by "tomorrow" I meant today (Sunday), are you going to PCP at all? That BB PV is fake, there's no playable Kokonoe, Torakaka, or Linhua. Also, new Tsubaki sprite my ass, they just changed the color to fit the story. I'll buy it for the story, but as long as the game still maintains the whole corner rape attitude it's had since CS2 I still won't enjoy the game enough to put time into it. I'm going to start looking at my personal schedule and see if I can get a P4A ranbat schedule worked up soon, all I know is that it will continue to be on Fridays since it works best for people and Saturday is taken up by Hazbats.

Ok Erik, bad news, I re-wired your board as if it wasn't dual-modded to see if the Cthulhu board was the problem and..... it is. The board, much like my first board is fried. You need to order a PS360+ or something, 'cause long story short I can't really put the stuff back in that was originally in there, the price of failure I suppose. If you can find a place with a PS360+ in stock and order one to replace mine then I'll put my extra one in your stick this weekend. But yeah I'm not sure when the board you had got fried, but the way AIAB set it up, I could definitely see it getting damaged if that switch was flipped while it was plugged into a system, I mean.... Toodles lays out a very clear way of piggybacking a 360 pad onto the Cthluhu board and AIAB completely ignored it and did some retarded mod that took me forever to figure out. Fucking idiots. So yeah, it's up to you now Erik.

Akihiko looks ridiculous, I don't care what anyone says bad about him, I knew from the early vids that his game plan was going to auto-win the game for people playing him against me, which is why I was hoping that Justin would go balls to the wall with the guy and teach me everything there is to know in how to beat him. Yeah Erik I'll do your stick mods, I think the only problem is that you have a switch for the 360/ps3 selection, and I'm not sure where I'm going to stick that on the Hori case. Jimmy plays on the cab furthest to the corner so he avoids actual people. GG's Koogy, I thought Armando wanted us to keep you having it on the down low BUT APPARENTLY NOT. The game is amazingly fun, I really like how every character just has so much utility and the speed feels a lot closer to GG/MB than BB. I thought the dial-A combo shit would bother me but I can understand why it's there and it really doesn't make the game feel "too easy" because it's just another tool, not so much an always go-to in all situations type option. Also, Jimmy I had no idea that you had to hold D to make Shadow Labrys's persona block, did you know this before deciding to main her? Fun character though.

Welcome dreamvision, you should definitely try to make it out to my place on Fridays when the shit hits the fan. I'm not sure what other games you play at the moment but a few people are coming to just play whatever this coming Friday if you'd like to join in and meet people. Ray, Erik and Chris the hotel reservation is set, we're good to go from Thursday night till Sunday. We can leave around 7 then.

Ok I'll make the reservations for Thursday-Sunday, Chris if your night class gets out around 7 I have no problem leaving around then, we could skip the rush hour then. Basically we gain and lose players left and right and that player card list was a cluttered headache, I want to make room for RanBat info and gathering dates and not have it lost in an enigma of data. I have till the end of Wednesday to make reservations with the discount, I need to know if it's ok to just leave Thursday afternoon, or if you guys are ok with leaving late Friday morning.

God no I'm not driving at 4am, if we leave Friday morning it'll be at like 9 or 10, if there's a tourney Friday afternoon that you want to participate in then we'll have to leave Thursday.

If we leave Friday morning then we'll only be staying for 2 nights so it'll just be 50 per person.

Erik/Chris are we leaving Thursday afternoon or Friday morning? We're going to leave Sunday after finals regardless.
