Team StickBug, it's a tournament series in NYC, and the next one is tomorrow at Next Level. Anyway, I'm going to GU tonight regardless along with a few others, so I hope to see people there! -

Anyone going to GU this Friday? We can host the first BBCP 1.1 tournament! -

Excellent. GU typically announces the dates of their tournaments via Facebook, but I'll be sure to post up here to make sure everyone is in the loop. -

Is Saturday a work night for you? That is when they typically hold their monthly tournaments, and that is the only time I can ever feasibly expect anyone who plays BB from out of state to go there (myself included). If you're interested, perhaps we can try to host a side-tournament when the next one rolls around? -

Hey Boston players, is there a reason why you generally don't go to GU? I'm not trying to call anyone out, I'm just genuinely curious because I want to go where BB is being held! -

I believe there are some players who frequent Game Underground who would be willing to play. I brought a BBCP setup to their tournament on Saturday, and there seemed to be a fair amount of people who were interested in picking up the game. Even a few Capcom players were interested, since right now they are in the rut that we just got out of waiting for Ultra to be released. -

Megaman X is a playable character. This will be my main game. -

I'm definitely going to this, for it is close to my home and I am lazy. Why, how is your internet? I am capable of providing a stream/recording setup nowadays, so that could be a thing if your connection isn't as bad as mine (2mb/s down, 400kb/s up). -

@RainbowMash Please pick up EX Kyo! The character is too good. @JacopeX I look forward to playing you! I didn't get to play you enough last time because we were getting rocked by lesser Teddie's mashing 2B @Cheese In regards to GG, Jacope hit a very important point in that attendance plays a huge factor at these events. Since there are only a limited number of setups and a large amount of people, the amount of setups that can go towards yet another tournament on top of the five major games that are already being run are scarce. However, having a setup for casuals is most certainly encouraged, especially if you bring your own. That's how Persona got to be in the main lineup. Certain reoccurring characters you might know came to the tournament when Persona wasn't being hosted and just simply played casuals. While this might seem like a waste of time to some, this act adequately demonstrated that there were people willing to travel to play their game, and that's the kind of reassurance that this TO in particular needed in order to allot his limited resources towards running a P4A tournament. If you just make the initial effort to convey your interest in playing GG at this venue, I can definitely see "official" side-tournaments happening in the future. -

I suppose I should have clarified that side-tournaments don't have anything to do with what's on "the roster." But I already said that if you want Guilty, you need to show up! There's nothing ambiguous about that statement. I'll personally run a side-tournament if there is enough people (meaning, 6 or more). -

BlueNine asks for a GG side-tournament every time at GamingETC, but there is never enough people. Persona isn't at this event because I asked really nicely. It's because sixteen people including myself demonstrated that there is a demand to play the game by entering an impromptu last-minute side tournament. I don't pretend to run this event, so I don't have the power to magically make GG appear on the roster. If you want GG, you have to show up first! -

So, there's an event page for that Persona tournament that I mentioned earlier. It'd be awesome if all of you who still play Persona or have played Persona at any one point could make it! http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?15991-April-20th-2013-The-Good-the-Bad-the-New-Challengers-Stratford-CT -

I will go to casuals even though Jer hosted the other day, but only after I satiate my inner e-sports at GamingETC's tournament this coming Saturday (https://www.facebook.com/events/107895799398561/). The next one will have Persona in lieu of DoA, so look out for that in Event Announcements when I eventually make the thread. The date is tentatively set for April 20th. -

Me, LPT, Furok, the entire Springfield, MA crew, and a few others are confirmed...So that's like 6+ people at the moment. I haven't heard anything from anyone else, so I'm not expecting it to be too terribly big unless players pop out of the woodwork.

Unfortunately, the room cannot support any additional biological organisms, much less extra people. I attempted to contact Nazgul to see if he was going/had a room, but he is unable to make it to WB. I would suggest trying to get in contact with BlueNine or perhaps Kona and see what kind of leads they might have. If that doesn't work out or you have already talked to them, let me know so I can work some voodoo magic on my end. Unfortunately, the adventures of Aoko Aozaki Hernandez have concluded. I'd suggest picking up a character in BB or P4U, and may a new saga unfold. I've never quite described it as well as you. Bravo. -

It went on, and on, and on, and on~ Also, my post was deleted? I guess that's okay. Katz quoted the important part. -
I'm going to have to pull out of the tournament. I was relying on being able to relocate myself to a place with better internet. However, due to a certain blizzard, I cannot drive anywhere both physically and legally until further notice. As a result, I'm stranded on my snowy island of bad connections. Give my spot to a Rachel player so I may see her at the beach and be reminded of warmer times.

I will most certainly take you up on that offer! Just curious, what system is it for? -
GG's to all yesterday, especially to Chaz for showing me via example how to do awesome Litchi things. I enjoyed the new format in the sense that everything ran quickly and there was plenty of time to play casuals afterwards. However, I really need to see if there's a Dunkin' Donuts or something near Next Level. My coffee addiction is always neglected when I go there.
