  1. nah, v is fairly unstoppable lol ok, not unstoppable, but it's pretty uphill for most if not everyone. A very steep hill at that.
  2. Yes, 3C shark move is it lol I have to get use to not being able to summarily stuff peoples attacks this game around. Thanks for the responses ^_^

Arakune has this move where he runs across the floor~ I don't know what it's called and don't have the game with me to be more specific ^_^;; It's an attack that has him sliding along the floor~~~ I've been trying to stuff it with various attacks but I keep getting hit. If you know what I'm talking about, is there a way to beat out that move or should I just block it and move on? Sorry for not being very clear.

  6. I've been working on a combo this week~ it's easy to perform so~ I'm sure it's not that good lol. It leaves the enemy knocked-down too~ c.K, s.S, c.D, tatami JC j.P, j.D FRC-airdash, j.S, j.D in the corner, the FRC for the first airdash is not needed~ just dash in like it's a tensionless dust-loop. I'd like to know if that combo is any good, or is it so close to something much better (more damaging) >>super sorry if this combo has been posted in this thread and I missed it. I swear I did read the whole thing _(. .)_ lol<<
  7. ah, Thank you. What you each said is very helpful. Learning how to follow up a tatami sans-tension has already improved my game quite a bit hehe~ now I just need to practice practice practice the FRC for the all other cases. /thumbs-up
  8. I've been trying out a few combos that have been posted and came up with a problem~ Is a tatami impossible to combo from (maybe except on CH) unless it's FRC'd? I seem to be unable to follow up before the opponent recovers~ this could be because I'm using Training mode. I remember GGXX's training mode let the AI recover earlier than it was meant to if set to recover neutral. Is that happening here at all?
  9. ya~ Ouren, I find, is good for escaping a pressure string, but it never/rarely hits while Millia then runs at me for another rushdown. I'm practicing, right now, some basic ^C combos; I just have to make sure I can open up a reliable and steady approach/offensive. I miss being able to rush and lockdown opponents as in GGXX. ~or... is there a new combo for that?
  10. I've started playing GGXX^C a few days ago (tho I've played GGX and XX for years) and with all the new changes to Baiken~ I'm having a hard time adapting; specifically to fighting Millia. One of my good buddies plays Millia and where I use to trounce him in a most humilliating fashion, now our matches are close. Is there a good way to stuff her high priority attacks? At least make her too afraid to poke and run? He tries to bait my counters, so I use them sparingly. What's getting me buy is a well placed j.S when he dashes in and the occasional youshijin-CH. Being that he's on the offensive 90% of the time though, he gets enough hits in to be a threat. I can't let him win, not one match!
