  1. It's cool man. We all make mistakes. So.. i was in the lab yesterday and i noticed that a character can't block when recovering from a jump-in in a certain amount of frames. Now, the timing in which you can get an air-to-ground unblockable (Ill just call it that for now) depends on who you're fighting.. what your opponent does (j.A delay.. j.C early.. empty-jump etc.) And what you do to retaliate. The best way to see what im talking about is to record the dummy jumping at you while holding down-back. I had Nanase shield in the air while holding down-back, and i did 623C with Seth. 623C can be shield-blocked in the air.. i was still hitting her. This may not be practical.. but i thought it was an interesting find.
  2. I always knew it wasn't an overhead.. so i was shocked when Brett told me it was.
  3. Had a friend test this setup out. He couldn't get the j.2C to hit overhead. If it's not an overhead while rising.. are you saying it's an overhead after his EX Command Grab? Because he tested this out after the EX Command Grab and it didn't hit overhead. At this point im convinced it's not an overhead period.
  4. Is j.2C only an overhead in those conditions?
  5. Same here... i was trying to do the combo.. and i couldn't figure out how it works.
  6. I see now why Seth doesn't do as much damage as some would think he does. Dude can do Veil Off combos and all he needs to do is hit you lol. These combos are sick!
  7. As for the 1st combo.. it in-fact works. Pay attention to the recovery animation of Seth's 214C. The moment he turns around is when you want to do j.6C.
  8. The 1st combo i believe doesn't work... due to the 2nd C and the starter being 2A. It's supposed to be 2A > 5C > 214CC > 6C > j.236B > j.214A > etc. The second combo works though, just replace j.6C with 6C. Also, i found a 5200+ VO combo using the one True Tech found from Rion. Dash C > 623B > 214AC > 6C > j.236B > j.214A > 214BB > 22 or 2A+B > 623A > CS > VO > Dash j.C > j.214A > 632146C > j.214A > 214CC > 632146C > j.214A > 41236D If you cancel the 623A at a specific point... you can make it to where you're really close to them when you CS, thus making it to where you don't need to dash. And the VO will not hit them if timed right. EDIT: If you end it with IW it does 5.3k
  9. Am i the only one who's getting his command grab when i do j.236B > j.214A > 214BB?
  10. I was impressed with the Hilda matches. I never thought i'd be so interested in the character.
  11. Is it just my internet... or is the videos mad skippy?
  12. I tried doing it on non-CH... it didn't work. I tried it multiple times as well. The 2C > 3B > delay 623A > 5B > delay 623B > 214AC will work.... but as soon as you try to do the 6C... the opponent will tech out of it. On CH/HCH... that's not the case.
  13. I went to the lab to experiment more on Seth's CH/HCH juggles (since you usually get CH/HCH properties on punished DP's) and found out you can do 2C > 3B on CH/HCH. 2C > 3B > delay 623A > 5B > delay 623B > 214AC > 6C > j.236B > j.214A > 214BB > 22 or 2A+B > Dash C > 6C > j.236B (oki) Not sure if this was already posted in the earlier pages :/ Big thanks to Alrikir for sparking my interest on 3B EDIT: 2 more CH/HCH combos: Dash C > 623B > 663B > delay 623A > 2C (1) > 214AC (or 214CC) > 6C > j.236B > j.214A > 214BB > 22 or 2A+B > Dash C > 6C > j.236B (oki). 2C > 623A > 5B > 623B > 662C (1) > 214AC > 6C > j.236B > j.214A > 214BB > 22 or 2A+B > Dash C > 6C > j.236B (oki). The second one does less damage than the 1st 2C combo above in this post so i'd just go with the 1st 2C.. but it's a a bit more fun to do IMO EDIT 2: If you delay the 623B after the Dash C.. you won't have to dash in order for the 3B to work since you're closer to your opponent.
  14. You have to be aware of your spacing. You can also delay the 623B so that you don't get 214x
  15. Ok cool. I said that because i thought that this may have been played at a loketest, unless this was a legit tournament. EDIT: Sorry for my ignorance as well. Also, in one of the vids you posted... i believe the one vid in which there's an hour footage of terumi.... he did this combo on Kokonoe: 41236C > 2A > 5C > 2B > 5C > 3C > 5D > 236D. As a newbie Terumi player.. that was dope! What else is cool about that.. is that on Rachel you can do: 41236C > 2A > 5C > 2B > 5C > 6D > 236D. Last time i checked.. i think it did 3300+.
  16. I haven't watched the vids yet HMM... but is this on BBCP 2.0?
  17. Oh i know, but thanks for explaining it anyways. It never hurts to experiment and try things just for the hell of it though xD
  18. I was messing around with this and i tried to do the j.C > 2C combo with this. Sadly, it didn't work lol. Im definitely gonna be using this more now though.
  19. ahhh ok cool.
  20. Alright cool. ill go ahead and add it to the wiki. If this data turns out false on some parts or in general ill just re-edit it or have one of you guys edit it if i can't. EDIT: Nevermind.. looks like someone else did that already. *Looks at Brett* >_>
  21. Do you guys think the frame data for Seth is pretty accurate? If so, ill be more than willing to add it to the wiki
  22. PSN ID: iMainJacky I usually don't enjoy playing online on UNiEL.. due to the fact that i can't land anything with Seth online.
  23. From the video.. i didn't know that 5B > 5C > j.C > j.B could be combo'd into. That's pretty sick. I came up with this while i was messing around with it: 5B > 5C > j.C > j.B > 3B > 214C > Hold C > 6C > j.236B > j.214A > 214B > Hold B > 22 or 2A+B > Dash C > j.6C > j.214A > 214B > Hold B > j.214A. You can end this combo with his 214C instead of his j.214A... but it's not recommended due to scaling.
  24. Now that my wiki account was created, i went ahead and edited the damage on Seth's normals/dash normals. Now i need to figure out how to get the frame data for the startup frames. Also.. thanks to one of the Seth cmvs.. i managed to extend my j.C combo even more: j.C > 2C > 623A > 5B > 623B > 214A > Hold C > 6C > j.236B > j.214A > 214B > Hold B > 22 or 2A+B > Dash C > j.6C > j.214A > 214B > Hold B > 214C. Does 3862 no vorpal and like the previous one.. it costs 100 meter.
  25. I tried both on Hyde.. and i managed to get it off. How slow/quick are you doing it? 214C might be quicker on recovery than you think
