  1. Oh yeah I saw Omex tweeting this and while I'm not sure if any more chars have it I felt like It was good to share. Adachi's DP takes 10% of his health bar. And, as Omex tweeted, this effectively makes any combo do 950 more damage. 1K health. Seems cool. I need to stop using it.

  4. It's okay. People have their own rules about netplay. Glad to hear you'll play me next time! Also 8k combos are possible without slide state but they're pretty impractical. I feel like I've got a bit better with Adachi at some points. I definitely could use less DP mashing but I'm happy so far. Can't wait for you to play me! EDIT: Oh yeah remember that any 0 bar MUST be played on Mitsuru's stage with the full intro.
  5. No. This is not how it works. It doesn't matter which Character you choose for the fights to get 100% as I only went through them once and still got (in the end) 100% on both To get 100% on P3 and P4, you need to see which scenes have a yellow "clear!" sign and go through them again choosing the dialogue option you didn't choose before and go through the story until it gets you to the menu. Doing this unlocks the true ending On P3's side there is an extra scene after you get thrown to the menu, so go over it. Remember that you have to go through the scenes, so wait for the game to get you to the menu.
  6. GGs to Raiko got a lot better on the Mitsuru match-up I believe (I should stop mashing DP but It won't go away ;_; ) Also why did you have to leave on my best round man!
  7. I'm pretty sure you can 5B>2B>j2C for 3.1K. You can't 5B to hop loop because they tech earlier so if you want to do it you need to 2C as soon as Atom Smasher ends EDIT: If you're in the corner you can add 2D for the quoted combo to do 3.4K I believe.

I'll try to get a video of it as my memory is kind of fuzzy.
  9. I feel ya, she just needs to mash 5A to win the match. I need to figure out something. It goes worse with Kanji because it beats my everything. Only SAFE option is to backdash if he gets the grab on you but if you're paralized and he uses D grab well say bye! D Grab beats Mandala. Like. Wat.
  10. Yeah it sounds about right. My bad. Also is it just me or Adachi loses a LOT of health from his DP? Wasn't it like a set amount based on the char's health? Every time I use it I regret it because how much health I lose. It could be just my imagination though
  11. IIRC Ghastly Wail automatically fears to get the extra stabs.
  12. It's the characters intro. The netcode starts to synchronize as soon as the match officially starts, which is on the background presentation to the end of the Player 2's character intro pose. It takes about 15 seconds and up to 30 if you have lag (maybe more) but It's better to wait for the lag to be "eaten" by the intro rather than having to play with it. Anyway 88% of online players mash buttons to skip it so yeah. I have no idea how to program netcode but I'd say it's easy enough to wait 10-20 secs to guarantee the match being lag free. Most 0 bar connections feel a lot better after the full intro!

  18. I'm interested on picking up Minazuki as a sub. Does anyone have any reccomendations on where to start and basic combos to practice for him?
  19. Yeah I've been using that a lot but what I meant is that for his most reliable tool on defense outside of awakening he doesn't really get that much after landing it.
  20. Every Character has flaws and you're right about it being kind of frustrating that his BNB is so... weird, I guess. However I think you should look at Adachi on another perspective. Heat Riser is not a BnB. It's a MUST. As soon as you get it, you have to use it. Period. The 10% damage boost is pretty good but what I've noticed about this board is that No one has mentioned that he also gets a defense boost of 10% as well. This makes landing it a Must on any Adachi player. Also I don't think this is his true BNB. Most of the time you're just gonna do starter>5C(All)>Sweep+Gunshot/B Run Tackle for the side swap. Deals 2K if you have the buff and I'd say it's as good as it gets really. Also, for me Sweep>EX Gunshot>Full Corner carry combo is pretty good since it allows you to also get the mandala. The timing about the heat riser is just about practice as I land it pretty frequently to be Honest. The A version is easier but you lose the 5B part of the combo if you want to do it because they can tech earlier. Adachi for me is about playing with the right mindset since he gets outpoked clearly by most of the cast. Cross slash/Ziodyne spam does work sometimes but it soon turns to free meter and cards giveaway. Then you start using more 5C and JC since they're kind of his best tools. Yeah you can run up to people and mash 5A or 5B but you shouldn't even be allowed to be on the offense by your opponent to begin with if he knows what he's doing. I played against a Ken that mashed 5A, used the dog to cover and I felt my life miserable because Ziodyne got cut-off all the time. Cross Slash works better on that. If full 5C didn't add so much tech time man. If ANYTHING I'd ask for an opportunity to confirm SOMETHING out of his DP since it's his only reliable tool outside of awakening. So far the only thing I've gotten is a supercancel to any super and it gives him so much blue health I want to puke. Yeah I know few people get full punishes from their dp but come on it's like my only reversal aside from the awakened super. I'm not going to use megidola on defense, that's asking for way too much trouble. I love Adachi but he's way too dependant on meter for me, not like I'm going to stop playing him. Not low tier I guess but more like a mid-low tier char. Being awakened is another story though. Would you imagine if cross slash was an overhead? After a Heat Riser you can do 5C(1) which will launch the opponent to the side Maggie points his sword at. If you get the heigh right (assuming we're talking about a midscreen combo) you can get a fear on them before they tech. (D version) Evil smile wiffs on crouching opponents though

  22. So I just started up my PS3 to play and it seems that the game got a new patch. Does anyone know if there is balance stuff in it? It's 313 MB Could it just be Marie?
  23. No. You're already airborne. Yeah I know it sucks :/ On the other hand you can do 2C>ShortHop>J2C which is pretty good IMO

  25. I'll join just because I've always wanted to be on a CMV. I play Adachi so I'll try to get some cool stuff with him until then. I could post a combo I figured out the other day but I think it's best for now to wait for more people.
