  1. I know the Leo/Azrael comparison has been done a million times before we even saw what weapon he uses, but I really hope they feel similar. GG needs that straightfoward, hard-hitting, precise-berzerker style character.
  2. Awww yisss. I hope he's just as good as any other Arc DLC character. Though his weapon seems kinda meh to me. Can't wait to see him in action.
  3. It's not about either 5C or 2D specifically (there are combos that involve both of these that work, even if you omit just the second 5A from my previous example, it will result in a regular spin state), so I was just curious if it's programmed somewhere in the game that spin state doesn't happen after X condition is met (ammout of hits, scaling, etc.). I'm not too familiar with the way ASW games do scaling (never quite got around understanding it completely), so I was curious if anyone knows why this happens. 2AB > 214AB > 5B > 5C> 2C > hop > j.5C > 2B > 2C > 2D > 236ABA also works, and does some sweet damage (3805 with Heat Riser, I'm not sure if poison damage is dispalyed on the counter), though the timing for j.5C is hard on this one (at least for me, practice makes perfect). It's not quite the best you can get (if you catch them crouching with 5A or 5B, there are slightly better options, depending on if you want the spin state or not). But, if you add even a single hit to this combo (a FC 5A or crouching 5B for example, but pretty much anything at all at this point), the spin state won't occur. Guess it has something to do with this proration thing... gotta finally read up on it.
  4. I had some strange strange problems with the 236AB spin state not working properly. After certain extended combos the spin state doesn't occur, instead the opponent is simply out of the combo standing there. Most of the times this happened lead to a sweet non-scaled Ghastly Wail, but any DP or a short hop will beat it, so it's not worth it. What causes it to happen, hitstun scaling? Example combo that ends with this reset: j.C > 5AA > 5B > 5C > Heat Riser B > 5C > 2C > 2D > 236ABA > reset
  5. Someone foolish enough to even sub Junpei... Condolences and welcome to the club.
  6. PSN: LockedAndClush Country: Poland Main: Adachi Sub: Junpei I don't play a lot, so I'm kinda rusty, but I'm almost always up for some matches if I'm online.
  7. Sorry 'bout asking such lame questions, but there are two things I can't quite grasp yet. First one, the slide route thing. Everyone mentions how good it is, but I just don't get it. I know it's about 236BB not acting as a throw in certain situations, but what situations are these and what does it do? Second problem I have is the 2C>hop>j.5C. In some situations it works just fine, but I can't get the j.5C to hit after B Heat Riser. It always whiffs. I tried altering the timing a little bit, but I either whiff it again or do it so wrong, I get the 2C follow up. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Also, blockstring 5C>2C>Ghastly Wail is awesome on people who just sit there and eat blockstrings. Such a pitty any good player knows they don't really have to be afraid to stomp Adachi first chance they get, so it's not all that good...
  8. There are some minor mistakes here and there (so far two caught my eye - you forgot the "2" on Youske's SP moves and Junpei's FA is technically B+D and then A B C or D to attack). But it's cool either way, I always liked these.
  9. I'm considering giving my P4A to a friend, but I'd like to finish the story mode someday. Anyone got the DLC and can confirm it's the whole P4A story mode, or is it more like Calamity Trigger Reconstruction?
  10. Hey guys, this is my first post, so sorry if this question was answered before (most likely was, but a quick search didn't find anything), but something caught my eye browsing through some combos here. What's the real benefit of substituting 5C in Chaser combos with 6C into j.C? The only thing I see is that it wallsticks the opponent a little higher, so I guess it can lead to longer combos still involving launching/aerial? Will it make some combo routes that involve Chaser and TCL easier/possible at all?
