  1. Silly, Anji ALWAYS does 200 damage! Its getting past like 220 thats the hard part.

  3. So, how do I deal with people jump-FDing butterflies? I try to airthrow, but I jump right over them, On works, but sometimes they'll just not jump leaving me open. Can I run on and do 5S while they FD and combo that into On, and if they don't jump I can do 5S 2S 2D 236P?

  6. I was thinking, wouldn't this be really good for high-damaging, 0 tension KD combos, at the start of the round? ex. 5S > 3s> 5S 2S > 3S > 5S 5H > 3S > 5H > 236H-H? You would probably get much more then standard K S H 236H-H. V:
  7. Just a thought: Would sj.D be an effective tool in this matchup? I know Axl has issues with characters being directly over his head, so can you sj.D into his blind spotand land with something like j.S into pressure?
  8. Force Break Fish: Fish flies around like laser fish, then opens its mouth, a mini Justice comes out and gamma rays you.
  9. I haven't played in a few weeks, but I'm sure you can 236H through 236K in the corner into combo, or even just AG it with 6K. If you're feeling really ballsy, P stomp goes over 2H if you time it right. Teach him not to be a spammy fuck. EDIT: Or react to it with Super Stomp and show him what stomping things is all about! Also, if your Slayer approaches with iad j.H, guardpoint it on reaction with 6K, its really not that hard. Again, watch out though, cause A) it can be baited unloess you FRC, B) If you fuck up, you die. also fun fact: if you did 6K directly before Slayer did DoT, its a free AG! (Not to say this is a good idea in any way because you are far more likely to fuck up the timing and die really really badly. Honestly, Slayer doesn't feel that hard to deal with for me, and he's probably one of the easiest characters in the game to autoguard but like Kyoku said, you have to play it safe or you die miserably.

  12. Sorry, I was tired. ): you only get retarded upppercut while on the ground, so unless you're saying aerial VV RC is an infinite (which it probably is), Shadow Sol can do it just as fine. Plus if you block super uppercut, you get assraped anyway, because upon landing, pretty much anyone could combo into their infinite. What I'm saying is that, with a few minor exceptions, Infinite Tension is way, way more broken then golds since pretty much EVERYONE has an infinite, whereas only maybe a quarter of the golds are that bad.
  13. Gold Sol+Faust both have infinite tension. Meteors by default is bad, but its only REALLY bad because of item super. Gold Sol would be beatable, but he IS hard. Gold Johnny and HOS were the reason I said infinite tension is "mostly" more broken.   14. Well, I wouldn't be so worried about Baiken offense, since you stil have GP, and Reversal Fuujin into combo for big damage, the problem is you can't do any damage outside of reversalling her offense into a combo, or you get eaten alive.
  15. moar like golds. Gold fights wouldbe pretty funny thoguh, mostly. Gold Anji vs Gold Potemkin, lols. Honestly, Infinite tension is almost more broked then golds or kliff+justice. I was really praying for a tourney legal Kliff though.
  16. The big problem is that Anji is heavily dependant on butterfly Okizeme, and Baiken essentially nullfies any okizeme to begin with. The other way to beat baiken is tick throw her, but Anji does shit throw damage. On top of this, Anji does not combo form his throw, he goes into butterfly oki, which Baiken nullifies, etc, etc. Baiken's offense is somewhat weak, but that isn't a problem when she can beat you simply playing defensively, which is why I recommend making her come to you. Similarly, May and Axl have easy ways to stuff Anji's momentum at all times. May has it even easier than Baiken, just mash out on the high slash button and she wins.
  17. Honestly, I find the best way to beat Baiken is to just play hardcore defensively. SJ back and throw out some j.Ses to prevent negative penalty and wait for her to come to you, then punish her if she gets sloppy

  20. Actually, Anji does decently against Eddie due to Eddie's shit defense. Slayers not that bad, but you have to be careful. The "Fuck Anji, I quit GG" matchups are: Baiken, May, and Axl to a lesser extent. Testament feels shitty, but I'm sure theres ways around it. Baiken and May fuck you up for free. Axl is crappy to get in on, whic makes the matchup an EXTREME pain in the ass, but its its beatable. May just stuffs you out everytime, and Baiken totally negates butterflies. also, 5D isn't THAT slow for autoguard (frames 4-12), the problem with it is the shit recovery. But if you know you're opponents gonna throw out somewthing slow, you can get good results form this. Fun Fact!: If HOS opens with f.S, you can 5D for autoguard!
  21. so I was thinking about Sol FRCs while messing around with Side Winder combos and fafnir shenanigans and I wondered: Could you use BB FRC to keep up pressure on non-DP characters? For example, against FA: K S H 2D BBFRC j.S/H land K S H blah blah blah. Thoughts?

  23. On some charas you can do VV (2hit) RC CLSW. I haven't tested it though. Also, agreed on Kusoru. He's hilarious, but not effective as a sol player. I pray that he wins SBO someday.
  24. If I know anyone that ever gets this game ever, I plan on using Aoi. Too bad I barely know anything about 3d fighters, let alone VF.
