Quick question, about how far apart are the tiers in this game? I wanted ot paly Sai, who I recall is C tierish, and that Akatsuki? and Mycale? (I think those were the names) totally dominated this game. D:

only normal Rin is safe on block, and even still, you can do low of choice into whatever you want on reaction.

Well, from what I gather, I was thinking that the GGX2 series is definitely a gaiden. It happened and was canon, but it doesn't really relate to the main story, which is between Sol,Ky, and those involved in the War of the Gears

But Anji has no good matchups, except for Pot+Johnny which are 5-5. Hell, he has nearly 4 7-3s, so how is he 11th from the bottom?

Or do you have to time it? 1:43: Couldn't you use 3P instead of 2K for more damage and less prorate? 1:49: can you walk up and c.S instead of 5K for a little extra damage? Thats it really. Amazing shit, especially the amazing Eddie Guard Guage jack-up. Axl is clearly S++ tier

Well, I can do TK BUMPAH!! consistently now, (I use Shoto's 6321476HS, personally) and when I get my stick back, I'm gonna try to learn JI Raei FRC shenanigans, but what I also really want to practice that I've always had trouble with are Meaty Rashou setups. Are there any combos that can allow you to do them very consistently? And can they be done from any distance with proper timing, or is it always done from certain distances?

yeah, HS Fuujin is too good. Too bad its the onlyt thing Anji has. LMAO. I've noticed pretty much every matchup thats 6.5/7 in the other guys favor is matchups where fuujin is absolutely terrible. (Testa,Baiken,Axl,May, etc.)

I main Axl now, but Anjis still my favorite character, so I play with him now and then. Plus I get props for winning with Anji in my area

well, survival borderline is still winnable in GG, Lime-Key and BLEED and Ruu prove that, but actually trying to win with those characters (or learn them, in Bridget and Johnny's case) is EDIT: Besides, the survival borderline in GG is pretty good where it is, considering with 3rd strike its like Yun Chun ----SURVIVAL BORDERLINE---- Ken Mako everyone else

Yeah, Eddie is pretty stupid, but hes a lot less bad than #R Eddie. Also, yah, the matchup doesn't feel like its 5-5, but it doesn't feel like that for Eddie, either XD this is getting offtopic though

Actually, Eddie-Testa is 5-5 though I guess that doens't mean its not ugly for testa, it just means its equally shitty for both parties. This matchup is definitely in Axl's favor, since Testament doesn't get away with his usual defensive bullshit, Testament has crappy anti-pressure options and Testa is big'n'huge, so he's easy to combo, but Testament still gets good damage, and a knockdown is especially crappy for Axl, due to testaments strong HS EXE Beast lockdown game, so its not terrible on his side. He can also ue Warrant on long range pokes, but you can chain said pokes into Tenhou/623P (the latter preferred), etc, etc. Overall, Testament has the tools to win, but this is his only bad matchup in the entire game.

So much hate for Tenhouseki! but yeah, I love this matchup, I used to play Anji, whos matchup against everyone Testament is hopeless, so not having Testament be able to do his usual bullshit while still being a threat is an awesome feeling anyway, the Testament I face likes to throw webs over my knockdown'd corpse, Benten works maybe once in a blue moon and 623P doesn't seem to counter it (prolly due to 2F start up, I'm sure). Is there anything I can do to deal with it or should I just block?

zany, highly unlikely raei S combo In corner 63214S (slides INTO the corner) 3P OTG > 5P > 2S > j.H > j.D > 623D > 623H > 2S > j.D > 623H > Rensen-2 opponent can tech the 3P, but if they lack tension, then that can open them up to a 5P
