Also take into account that awesome combos =/= cheap character, since being able to actually set up the combo/character's usefulness (mixup, pokes, zoning ability, etc.) is important too (See: GGX Axl Bomber infinite, El Fuerte infinite, etc.)

Yeah, Axl Bomber is level 5 attack with barely any recovery, so un block, just chill and let him do a pressure string until you have a better opportunity to break out. 6H can be hit out of if you react to it, but he can only continue to pressure at close range. If he hits you with the tip of it, you can prolly get out of it very easily.

Yeah, it sucks, I usually end up RCing it DX! which is why I like Oiboi's combo since sword swing is really easy. :3 Edit: as for the zappa sword air combo, which is preferable, j.k j.s j.s j.h, or j.k j.s j.s j.d? I usually end all my combos with j.D or j.D xx 236H, but I see a lot of combos end with j.H so I'm curious. o:

Basic sword combo I remember doing a while ago: K S 2D xx 236S FRC 5S 2HS(1) j.k j.s jc j.s j.d 236H the 2H might have been 2 hit, but I forget.

No joke, up in NE, we have like 4~5 testaments, and one of every other character (And I'm the Axl/Anji )

I actually find this matchup to be really fun even though its pretty lopsided. I dread Testament and May far, far more, actually.

Welcome to DL! :3 anyway, I'm pretty sure they say that Raven is a parallel existence CAUSED by Axl, so idea time! :Imagine accompanying crayon drawings for this: Ky dies in Rome like he's supposed to, That Man goes OH NO!! I-No isn't going back in time, so Axl does it instead! Axl shows up about 10 minutes after Ky dies, and picks up the corpse, and gets warped back to That Man Axl: Hey, I got him! He feels kinda cold though. That Man: ... and then That Man turns Ky into a super regenerative zombie! Or maybe not.

Pretty much you just have to hope that Eddie messes up doing an unbrock or pressure string. In particular, if he does 22H FRC IAD j.S, you could probably backdash, IB the j.S, buster -> death or knockdown on wakeup. Thereafter, just pressure him, since he has shit for escape methods.

At certain ranges, couldn't you prevent flicking with ghosts by doing air 236P FRC 236H? I figure if he flicks the HS ghost, he eats the P ghost

That stomp info is very interesting, since I catch my main comp with it very frequently. Maybe I should test it out...By the way, do you have to launch them with 2K? That 70% Proration kinda sucks ): EDIT: Now I'm really curious since you could possibly get some really nice Fuujin loop setups this way Stomp Super 66 2D 236S-D -> loop, etc, etc.

So, how do you do those sweet 5P relaunch combos on Pot+Faust? I remember seeing them in a combo vid but basically what happened is Anji would do a JI combo in the corner and as he landed on the ground he would end it with j.K, land, 5P and then super jump back up and combo some more. Shit looks cool, so I wanna learn it +_+
