It's alright. Just jump-cancel the HS into jP-> etc. If you're still having problems connecting anything after the HS, the best advice I can give is to fuck around in training and try to find the earliest frame you can jump cancel the 5HS and the earliest frame you can punch after actually leaving the ground. Work on timing it right rather than spamming the button.

I think you mean qcf.S.qcf.K, but after that AFAIK you use 5HS, not s.S (i think here you mean cS or fS, btw). You can also use 5P into jP-> etc on lighter characters (Bridget)

Well, I'm coming to the point where I'm starting to incorporate rolling idous into my air combos to extend them. With the yo-yo anywhere on screen, from a counterhit 2S or anything that launches them nearby, I can get jS.j2S.jS.j2S.214K.jS.j2S.214K.jS, but after that I can't get the 2S to connect. Should I just end with jK.jS instead? Thanks!

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. I was a bit confused because of how it was said (I wasn't sure if they were referring to the game engine or the characters lacking the ability to hit overhead/low at the same time, which is of course incorrect). I mainly referenced Roger Get to counteract the latter argument, because I main Bridget and that's an easy reference. I would've just stuck with Eddie, but I don't know the character at all (Not sure if his unblocks are "truly" (Character-wise, not game-engine wise - IE supposed to hit low/overhead same frame) unblocks or just nearly so.

I'm confused as to how Roger Get can't be a perfect unblockable, unless people are saying that when two attacks hit on the exact same frame, they actually aren't both able to be active.

I really shouldn't comment on a match-up I have very little experience with, but I always 2D at max range to get rid of little eddie. Is that a bad choice?

I was at SJSU yesterday, and I was having some problems against a May player. I didn't really know how to punish her. I think her 6P as well as her horizontal dolphin rush (correct me if I'm wrong) goes through Bridget's 5S (Bleh), and I had no clue how to stop her weird overhead dolphin attack or the cross-up mindgames involved with it. Any advice?

When I first got my stick, I started playing only with it. After a few weeks I felt comfortable with it and after a month and a half or so, it had actually improved my playing. I had probs with both IAD-ing and half-circles as well. You'll grow accustomed to it

I'll man up when I have the money. Till then I'ma whine like a little kid (thanks for link - in reality I'ma probably wait to get a new stick until I can get a custom one, but we'll see how it plays out. It honestly doesn't mess up my playing at all)

Thanks for the responses, I'll see if there's anything I can do. Not really a big deal. Trevor's is still tight and I'm getting use to it being loose (LOL GAY), so we'll just have to put nametags on them or something, heh.

Loose as in I use it >_>' The snapback to the center is sluggish. Is there any way to tighten it back up?

Could someone tell me how to tighten the stick? One of our HRAP2's sticks has become a little loose. It's not game-breaking but we'd like to tighten it back up. Thanks!

FB Roger rush has great stagger time, giving you enough time to do anything you want, really It can be glitched into mid-combo, if you're referring to having a hard time hitting with it.
