lol exactly, everyone loves Sarah even if her Handcuff Lighting isn't as awesome as Jacky = w= I gotta say I'm impressed at how deep and content rich this MK is, they're really trying hard to sell this, hopefully it has what it takes to find some room in the bigger tourneys.

Yeah from watching the vids alot of Lighting's HP attacks did see rather slow, but they looked to have some good range on them, however I'm fine with her being a beginner friendly character with some depth ^^ I'll probably be using her and Prishe alot (along my old mains Ultemcia and Squall) Just 3 more weeks = w=

Sonya, Nina, and Jill all have the same plastic surgeon Game looks solid, I wasn't looking for it to play like older MK games, or else I wouldn't like it = w= Still have to play it before I can know if I'll take it seriously or not, but I do love the tag play. And I'm really digging the battle damage, too bad the demo isn't universally available until the 15th...and it won't have any of the characters I'd be interested in using.

Yeah I can see where you're coming at about defined attire, it's just I felt it was the least they could do for her if nothing else. Oh my god yes, I love Danni Luo's work! She is amazing, but sadly she was just a contractor :< I think she portrayed Laura really well, honestly I don't like how she's portrayed in the current comics, she's suppose to be a teenager yet she looks alot older :\ I think her MvC3 look is a nice middle ground. Honestly I love X-23 but I don't think Marvel is using her to her maximum potential, I know she's a clone of Wolverine but that doesn't mean you have to make her JUST like him, they're pretty much writing another broody, lone wolf, but secretly caring character (like "James"). Although now that the Sinister arc is wrapped up, I'm looking forward to Laura and Daken working "together" :3 Time to see if these dysfunctional siblings can mix ^^ I know, I just find it funny that he once walked around calling himself that (even more funny that Marvel writers thought that was cool back in the day XD) More on topic: MvC is really pissing me off, the netplay just gets worst each time I get on :< I'm loosing to absolute scrubs and scrub tactics because lag is just outrageous (I had one match where the game didn't move until seconds inbetween ; A;) Also I ran into a glitch that kinda irks me as well = .= For some reason my wins have been soft reset. At the beginning of the fight it displayed my as having 0 wins and 95 loses. However at the result screen it displays as it should (130w 95l) I lost 6 rounds tonight and only won 3, so before fights it displays 3w 101l, it makes me look bad initially (due to a low win ratio being displayed) and the lag doesn't help. FIX. IT. Crapcom :\

It makes her too flexible, X-23 has no distinctive or recognizable features or attire. In 99.9% of the art Laura is featured in (official and fan) her claws are always retracted. Why? Because it's the only way you know it's X-23. Here's a prime example. In issues 1~3 of her series the standard covers have a consistent artstyle (which is never present in the books themselves, and actually depict Laura much younger). If I followed the series (which I do :3) I could tell that yes this is the protagonist even if her claws weren't shown. However from issue 4 and up this cover style is completely ditched for a more American Comic look. I have no idea who the character is on those covers for multiple reasons; first there's the change in hair and eye color (this is retcon in later covers), then there's the outfit (before she sported similar yet different wears, but now she is depicted in her X-Force uniform that bears the X-Men logo. Which she never actually wears in the comics despite the covers depicting events within the books). But oh wait she has her claws out, so it's X-23, lolnevermind The previous style made X-23 distinctive without the need to display her claws for her hair was rather unique, it's a bit wild and she has mini "antennas" you'd often see in Japanese manga, granted I know this isn't how she is ever depicted, but it should've been so in order to make her a more definite character. Look at Wolverine, he is easily recognizable both in and out of his uniform, so why does his clone lack such distinction? Hell other characters in the Marvel-verse that are just as plain as Laura have distinct appearances that make them easy to point out. Phoenix's hair is wild and firey, even if I was looking at a B&W illustration I could tell it's her, plus all her outfits are pretty recognizable. The same with Cyclopes, he's always wearing his shades (albeit by need not desire) and his outfit has fundamentally been the same throughout the years. I could go on, but if Marvel is willing to go such lengths to make their other characters stand out, why does X-23 get the shaft? You mean Power Man Eh, his only power is being Black = w= but on a real note he's one of the most generic characters I've ever seen, but it actually works for him since no one is as plain (or Black) as he is = w= Of course no offense meant.

Also it probably depends if this is connected to SE Members, if it is then having another's save won't help. Which is dumb because she has her own series now, so I don't see why they shouldn't :\ The X-Force outfit is cool (although I'd rather not have the mask, personal preference) but I probably won't buy (unless some really unlikely factors come together)

Oh don't get me wrong I love that top, but my problem is she never actually wears it in the comics, and something about that kinda pisses me off, especially since alot of the covers are like that... I just want her to have a distinctive look aside from X-Force and her brief time with the X-men (which was just a sassy cat version of 80s Wolverine :\) and don't bring up the horror that was Captain Universe :\

Something Garland doesn't understand (silly Garland don't hold Lightning's fist ) I'm assuming the "intro" is the beginning of the story where as the opening is what you first see when you pop in the game (or vice-versa). Now I'm wondering what the opening looks like o.o and I wouldn't mind watching the ending, but you look like it was an unfortunate run in for you lol

Because I just switched to this Catherine ava not even 2 days ago ; A; but I love Lighting and Prishe. Yeah Chaos does indeed look pretty crazy, I bet everyone is gonna use him, he'll be the Sent of 012 XD (just like Warrior of Flight is the Captain America = w=) The MAD videos are all pretty hype too (the 2nd runner up is a personal favorite because it did the exact idea I was thinking of while watching the first two) and after observing them EX Break looks deadly x.x Too bad they only had Prologus to work with...can't wait to see what people display when the game releases tomorrow :3

I know it might not be what you want to hear but... DON'T let her turn into Dark Phoenix, I've been able to beat Dark Phoenix but it can be challenging and sometimes requires alot of sacrifice. Seriously if you see Phoenix on someone's team, snap her in and get rid of her. As for fighting Dark Phoenix herself, that's a hard question to answer that depends on the situation and how the person plays her. They can lock you down with spamming projectiles into homing projectiles, they can use the occasional warp to catch you off guard, hell they could deliberately build up meter let you kill Phoenix and switch her out (making her a deadly assist where as prior she was very "meh") If you have the meter and they don't have X-Factor, just use a few well timed supers. All this being said never use it against me, as I use Phoenix

Yeah you may be right, but I did promise Atlus I would import the game no matter what (I suck at importing since everything I do import gets localized, the only exception being Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+. I imported AH1 and it got picked, didn't bother with 2 and it didn't get picked up, got 3 and bam coming this Spring XD) Wow 810MB! Wow that's insane, good thing I have a 4GB mem card and I'm picking up a retail copy = w= Can't wait to see the broadcast tonight, however I'm not too hyped for Chaos but it will be interesting to see alterations, if any, to his playstyle. Think he'll be scaled down!?

That....is.....A....DOR....A....BLE! I personally don't support the Jin/Hakumen and Tsubaki pairing but upon seeing that image I couldn't help put let out a genuine "aww" The softness of the colors helps set the mood and kudos on a rather detailed Hakumen! I also love the lighting in this picture :3

This is why as much as I love, and I mean LOVE, X-23 I probably won't be buying any alt costumes they release or her, as most of her clothes have been one shots for covers that she may or may not even wear in the comics (like the stripped top her alt 2 color is based off...) B-b-but... Hmm I guess, I still wouldn't like it though... Also thanks for reminding me of one of the reasons I actually fear a Darkstalkers 4... ; A;

Sounds legit to me, and repulsor tech is so over rated I just like the way the armor looks (which is weird cause I hate both Captain American and Iron Man lol) Oh yeah, lol @ Punisher being a huge Cap fan = w= NO NO NO NO! If Lilith made any appearance in this game I want her as her OWN character, I hated that in previous VS game's she'd be in Dark Illusion, and I despise the "Lilith" alt color in every game Morrigan is featured in >.>
