... What? Right now there's a confirmed 40 characters (both going by the poster and counting the blurs -my eyes!-) which is actually two characters less than Bloodline Rebellion (although there technically haven't been any NEW characters announced...I'm guessing JC is just alternate costume, it's been done in the past, but this would be the first that would have a whole new moveset) I'm honestly hoping for more; Jun, Alex (again alternate costume to...F'n Roger/Jr.), Kunimitsu (is a fan favorite), Ogre, Unknown (for shits and giggles), and I want an ACTUAL new character!

... The hell are you talking about? The gender of the cast is split an even 50:50. 6 males; Hikaru, Catherine, Bravo, Cerberus, Cait, and Vein. 6 females; Kagari, Hermes, Celia, Sith, Rui, and Cthylla. Although Cait and Sith are one character they are still two genders, and considering Cait's the one who primarily fights you can count them collectively as male if you want. Also when has SRK's opinion been one to care about? I didn't know they were the grand council. The only reason I see them calling this gay is because of Catherine (because well...he is... XD) Game's gonna be fun and hope for a swift console release and hopefully UFO arcade will get it >.<

All character who were featured in Bloodline Rebellion will make it into the game (not too surprising) First lol item (maybe they won't be so bad) If these screens are from the same build that will be featured at AOU, we could be seeing most (if not the entire cast) Interesting that some characters (based on the blurs) have bigger boxes than others (there are 4 big ones) so this could hint at more characters, of just used to keep the boxes even (which is odd since there are 40 characters)

I've been saying this from the beginning :P However I don't really think DPM had much to do with it, honestly the lvl 3 X-Factor did most of the work, normal Phoenix could've done the same awesome without wasting the bars, but in the situation she was in it was definitely worth saving them in order to get a "second chance". Healing Sphere is the most deadly of all of Phoenix's tools; you no longer gain scratch (red) damage on block, you recover health so long as the opponent's in the field (and since Phoenix really is more of a rushdown character that's not a problem), and it only cost 1 bar which can easily be regained. The sole key to Phoenix is NOT getting hit, EVER! As a smart opponent will always finish off their combos and Phoenix can't survive half of any combo in this game. Tomorrow, midnight, here I come = w=

Phantom Breaker (Now coming to arcades)
SolxBaiken replied to Hecatom's topic in Misc Fighter Central
5bp FINALLY gets it... I resent those statements! I was very found of the original Melty Blood and the original Arcana Heart was anything but lacking, and FULL only made the game better (without too many drastic additions) Honestly the first title can make or break a series, and while I don't expect it to always come out as a blockbuster, it does have to offer me something to keep me coming back, which is what most titles I enjoy to this date have done. Should the game have some hidden sheen to it then I'll gladly look forward to a next game, however sequels aren't guaranteed in this business unless you are willing to take the risk. So it's up to the devs to do their best to impress, which no one can pass until they actually play the game. Oh and 360 exclusivity is gonna hurt it a bit... (not being a fangirl, but it does limit the exposure) -
Interesting... Apparently the game will be presented at the Sega booth during AOU, very interesting... = w= I just can't wait to learn more about the game as I've really gotten into it.

Duodecim Dissidia Final Fantasy Thread

That has been bothering me, since you unlock the original Dissida's story after beating Duodecim, are th new characters playable? They already stated that all gameplay changed would apply (like assist) so... Also I must've ultra not paid attention to not notice Terra had worked for Chaos = w= -
lol watching those archived Team Khaos vids and Sentinel has a win quote against X-23 that goes "Wolverine DNA detected in female. DOES NOT COMPUTE, DOES NOT COMPUTE!" now I just have to learn how to stomp in Sents to prevent myself from seeing it too much = w=

Trophy/Achievement Guide Posting this because I just wasted about half an hour looking for it... IGNORE ME! -
I know these things were in T6, but something tells me that it's going to be alot more heaily intergrated in Tag 2 than 6, which makes me fearful as Tekken is the only 3D fighter I play = w=

I HATE EKO! >.> But that was the most adorable thing I've ever seen!!! Awesome at least now I don't have to waste money importing the EU ver :3 and this hopefully means more players as I'm probably going to play this a bit more than MvC3, I hope it gets a Spring release :3 -

Man tag fighters sure are popular, what we don't know how to fight on our own anymore :P Graphics look passable (the backgrounds really steal the show though) but I doubt it's gonna look all that in motion >.<, and I don't think the assist system will be like Vanguard Princess as the secondary characters aren't on screen during fights (sadly these screens don't show it of at all...) Here are the characters (from top to bottom, left to right): Bachou (90% sure, and if it isn't I'm gonna be so mad!), Kanu, Chouhi, Sousou, Kakouton, Kakouen, Sonshouko (again about 85% sure), Sonken, Kannei, Ryofu Hmm for the most part I'm happy about the cast, however it was kinda a given :P Hope this game turns out decent >.<

Duodecim Dissidia Final Fantasy Thread
SolxBaiken replied to Ichipoo's topic in Misc Fighter Central
Really? I like it but I find it a bit cluttered, I'm surprised that Cloud and Tina/Terra (of all people) align themselves with Chaos, I'm not too shocked at Tidus since his hatred for his dad is so strong he'd join any side that allowed him to fight with him. Noticeably absent are Pische and Gilgamesh, hmm I which side they're on, if they want to keep things even both need to join Chaos, it also makes the most sense since Shanotto and Pische are rivals and Gilgamesh just likes fighting the strong (oh and the whole talking to Bartz in the trailer) The only thing that gripes me is the fact this is a prologue to the original Dissidia >.< but it's shaping up to be a good game, another month, another fighter :3 -
Launch Event (will probably be archived later) Also about Dante, there's no doubt he's an amazing character, my only gripe about him is the fact he has over 40 moves and yet until just about a week ago I had only seen the SAME exact moves for the SAME exact combos... Hopefully this will change.
