So does this mean it's going to be Wii exclusive? Cause I'm going to cry, I don't want to have to buy a Japanese Wii just to play this awesome game ! I hope it comes to all 3 major plats if that's the case (I'm surprised/impressed it can run on the system.) I want it on my region free PS3 >.< Also wiki already predicted Karas and the Mech from Lost Planet, but cool to see official confrimation, and to have further proof that Tatsunoko is going to own! (Gatchaman, Yatterman, Karas, and still more possiblities!). But yeah that "Wii exclusive character"....he can stay on the Wii >.> **EDIT** LAME! Just went to IGN and they also had the article up, TvC doesn't come out (the final build) until Dec, and the Wii ver releases on Dec 11! Not cool, so uncool! Does this mean I have no hope of playing this game unless Capcom becomes my mighty savior and goes through licenseing hell to bring it to US shores so I can use my Wii ifght stick for something other than Accent Core!

Hmm, I think all you guys are jumping to conclusions....the way I see it the came focuses on partnerships between a "Bride" and a "Contractor". The Contractors are the ones who fight (the cast seemlingly leaning toward the males) while the Bride aids her Contractor in battle (which I have yet to see a male Bride, so it may not have a total yaoi theme going for it). Righ now I'm not a 100% sold on it yet, I'd like to have more info on how the battle system works and more story tidbits (sounds like they're tryin to give the series a coherent story, I like that in my fighter ) And while I'm not fond of the style, some characters have very interesting designs, and the sprites look gorgeous! Though judging from the shots ExAmu is still programming in 4:3 but hell I love the Arcana Heart series and inbetween my wait for 2-3 I may pick it up when it hits consoles/PCs.... Oh and P.S. while I'm sure that reaching out to the female gaming demographic isn't their target goal, if the yaoi thing falls through you bet your sweet Bri-Bris this is gonna reel em in!

O.o How do you not fit in a crossover game? Honestly they can pull anyone from their long catalog of heroes and villians, long as they make a blanaced and enjoyable fighter I'm happy with it! The art style, the companies, the already impressive roster! This is the end all XFighter to end them all! (X= cross). This along with XEdge (the end all XRPG) will make my PS3 a very happy girl! ^-^ Nippon Ichi! Japan's the best!

OMFG! Morrgan in a Capcom cross over game....WITH GOOD SPRITES!!!! And they have Soki from Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams! I'm F'n SOLD!!!! This game is going to rock, and it doesn't look so broken as other people's cross over wet dream.... >.> Hopefully that Tronne Bonne ship stage is indication of some Megaman Legend Chars being playable aswell ^.^ I'm glad to see both companies are looking from both the old and the new ^^ I'm uber excited, now if I only knew when it was comming out >.<

WAHHH! I'm in the minority! well like I said I haven't finished Fate/Stay Night yet.....but I still love Tsukihime, I admit the anime adaption was GARBAGE! it makes me made that just the first vol (ep 1-5) of the FSN anime beats out the entire Tsuki anime, and the fact Tsuki was only 13 and FSN got to enjoy a full 26 ep series. However I loved the manga, and Melty Blood builds upon and already cool story (with a much more interesting cast...) I wish Tsukihime 2 would come out already! Well I better go look for Fate/Stay Night so I can finish it.....hopefully my view of Assassin and Rider won't change for the worst.....

I have to ask (though only Heca-tan might know since he's read the visual novels...) which do you think is better? Fate/Stay Night or Tsukihime? Me and a friend (female) got into a huge argument over this >.< The only thing we could both agree on is that Tsukihime produced a better doujin game (Melty Blood, although Unllimited Codes might test that...) but I feel like we need a 2nd opinion as I have finished Tsukihime but not Fate/Stay Night, and visa-versa for her....so who's in the right?

Again noncanon is a bad word, gaiden is what I should've said, side stories...what ifs if you will, but the main point being that all you know about the Guilty Gear world is not it's true form, he doesn't feel like fixing crap, and instead of just erasing crap he goes and says it's additional side story. However he has a vision of a main story which he's trying to get back to (thus is born Overture) and he's trying to keep only what is needed to tell the main tale of the Guilty Gear world.

As I mentioned earlier, there's ALOT os inconsistency within the Guilty Gear world, and instead of fixing it Ishi just said "make a self contained universe taking only the essentials into account!" Nothing in GG is canon except Overture....according to Ishi-kun

First off Ishi really had nothing to do with AC+'s story, saddly this already puts into question AC+'s canon-ity Second Overture takes place 5 years after Missing Link, which would more or less place it not to far from Midnight Carnival (and to a lesser extent AC+ and to an EVEN lesser extent Judgement, for some reason people consider Judgement the first sequel to Midnight Carnival ) Trust me, from all his interviews and stuff, Ishi just sounds lazy, he really doesn't want to deal with all the plot holes and non-fluidity that the X series, novels, and Drama CDs have brought with them. He wants to make more Guilty Gear, but doesn't want to tie up loose ends (he must be a lowsy boyfriend x.x). But hell, anything's possible right? But don't count on it, if it's this much of a pain in the ass for us, how bad do you think it is for Ishi-kun?

Well technically the way Ishi wrote Overture, hell not even the first Guilty Gear happened...it's kinda like the story freezes after Justice is sealed, there's no Testament trying to revive her using a tournament as a guise, no PWAB plotting sinster things in the dark, not even Axl jumping from here to there.... Overture follows it's own timeline only taking with it the "needed" parts: 1. Justice and gear were doing bad things 2. Justice is sealed (but Gears are still active...) 3. at SOME point Ky's wife was a hunted gear 4. That Man created gears Basically Ishi is re-writing everything about Guilty Gear (even how it's played ) and unless all of a suddent Guilty Gear 3: Aria of Dissonece tries to write back at least the original cast, don't expect ANY GG to be canon besides Overture... confused yet?

lol, but yes I too have often wondered about Ky's life in Overture, but Ishi-kun said he made this too clear up the fog and inconsistencies...yet ironically it only made it worst, most likely Ishi-kun tossed everything out the trash and labeled it "noncanon" or "gaiden" if you want to be politically correct. In doing this he has the ability to do whatever he want and it will be law! Also to avoid actually working on the story and patching up these loop holes XD (Ishi you lazy bastard) Most likely I-no and the Holy Wars were pretty much erased all together, really you only need 3 key characters to have Guilty Gear's story; Sol, Justic, and That Man. Realizing this the entire cast found in Guilty Gear: The Missing Link, was destroyed (figuretivly speaking) leaving only Sol (causes he's the protagonist) and Ky (because fangirls would bitch). Now Ishi-kun plans on telling only the most basic and essential part of Guilty Gear's story which is the Death/Rebirth of Justice and Gears, trying not to get side tracked with amazing side story and characters.... EDIT: Yes X is gaiden, no reconation, nothing has connection, Ishi-kun doesn't want to go through with all the trouble....

Interesting theory, I have always though about why Faust and Baldhead were seperate...maybe as he went from insane back to sane (?) he had repressed memories or even his entire persona as Baldhead...I wish we had more info on this prison, it sounds like an interesting place

I don't think it's Crow per say, but he might be a contributor to it. I beleive that Justice will rise again as a "D model" with the imprisoned Dizzy as it's core. I want to make a thread about all my X3 expecations...but I fear I'll be flamed for it... *sigh*

lol best comment ever! Long as someone has some logic behind it, I see nothing wrong with some speculation here and there (hell we had to wait like 6 years just to get canon continuation, some people had to do something, cause there is not enough pie in the world to eat for that long!)

I believe this is for PC, though a console release is possible (the previous one got a PS2 and PSP release). Though you can't quote me on that and I still have to finish Fate/Stay Night....but I'm too busy with Tsukihime and Melty Blood

BAD ASS!!!!!! The first Fate game they made looked so-so, but this one looks awesome! Esspecially since Eighting and Cavia are working together! Grea another fun fighter I'm going to buy but none of my friends are going to play with me >.< Damn you FPSs! I'll be maining Assassin and subing Rider!

I don't know....for some reason I just can't picture my lovely Baiken with someone like Anji....it just seems odd....though it makes since ("We're a dying race, have to re-populate!") IDK I just don't like it and refuse to see it! As far as canon goes I love the age long tales of Millia and Zato, it's very beautiful IMO, to be raised and hated, to be loved and betrayed. It gives me ghoosebumbs! ^.^ And then when Zato died I tought it was over, but then Eddie arose and it made the tale an even more beautiful tragedy! And don't even get me started on the love triangle when Venom's added to the mix ("Only 'HE' can do that...!").

And that would be an opinion of right! So what other monsters/myths could they put in the Darkstalkers series? Honestly I feel like they've tapped out every niche and would have to go SUPER niche in order to create GOOD new characters......
