Uwa work is like a double edged sword, I like it because it allows me to keep up my lavished lifestyle (XD) but I just hate working sometimes lol, then again I've been working at the same Gamestop since I was 16...I'm 20 now
It's been my one and only job >.< so I'm afraid to pursue this new job, but I have to take some risk right? But yeah I feel ya, buying stuff without the need for your parents is a great feeling, but don't feel bad about bumming off them so long as they love you and you do nothing to upset them :3
Ack! Sorry for making all these long messages >.< I just don't know how to shut up ~.~ But one last thing, I know it may sound weird but do you think I could run a story idea by you? I want to be a game writer and developer and I'd like to go over my first serious attempt at something with someone. -
Yeah I guess you're rightm ENG VA has come a looong way since the 90s, I just wish they were more involved in the projects as a whole like JPNs ones are. Oh, that sucks, well I hope you get to enjoy CS as soon as possible then! I would love to splurge on a MC but my job lately has been giving so few hours... I pretty much broke the bank getting the JPN SE of CS but I'm getting a new job soon so hopefully I'll be able to go back to my old way = w=

Yeah, I was sooo surprised to hear her but I think she did a really good job with a character like Subaru :3 Heh I guess I like American voice actors more than I'd like to admit = w= Like Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn and Monica Rial >.> Hehe don't worry the game is only over a month away, the wait is almost over, then we can spend plenty of time with the ENG voice overs and story n.n Man you have the Material Collection? Lucky, I was going to buy it but it kept slipping by me and I'm afraid to buy it now because the moment I do the CS Material Collection will get announced/released x.x

Aww that sucks, saddly I never owned the game, I borrowed it from a friend, loved it, and then she moved away ; -; I've been searching for one ever since... Yeah I like Julie Ann Taylor (though I prefer Kate Higgins ever since Code Geass, C.C. <3) and her work as Ratchet in Sakura Wars was pretty good, just mad she got axed out of the playable role so soon =.= and her voice fits those characters well so I guess we'll just have to believe in her and ones that picked her for the role!

Yeah the Legends series was awesome, I'm still holding out hope they'll make a Legends 3 or a Misadventures of Tron Bonne 2! That would make me soo happy + w+ Yeah I'm really looking forward to learning more about Tsubaki, esspecially her relationship with Jin, I know most people are like childhood friends/love interest but I just feel like there something more. Specficially on Jin's side, what's so unique about Tsubaki he would go out of his way to behave infront of her? And yeah I've been a bit worried about the battle voices for her for a while now I just don't want it to be like: VA: "Wha you guys didn't say anything about fighting!" Director: "Just read the line like 'Huah!'" VA: "Hu....eh!?" ~.~ At the very least just like with CT I'll stick with ENG until I 100% story and then stick to JPN :3

Yeah I suppose anyone is fine, I mean honestly until Tsubaki came around I didn't like ANYONE (well gameplay wise at least, needs more Baiken :x) in BB, I only played the game because it was basically the new GG and it had online, I only play Jin because he has a samurai motif. Lol Saya would be hilarious, she'd be so S tier, S for Saya! An awesome joke character would be cool but probably wouldn't go over too well with certain people... Oh, Saya would be the new Servbot (I love those guys :3)! Yeah it's funny cause my friend doesn't play fighters and only like Makoto because I showed him the Tech me Ms. Litchi with the trio in it and he deemed Makoto to have more personality than Noel and Tsubaki combined aparently x.x

Oh! Nin nin! >.> ... <.< ... o.o Hehe yeah I lost my cool for a bit and I apologize for that, but it's over with now. So with two more characters left to reveal who would you like to see (disregarding the shadowed figures)? Personally I just want one completely new character that hasn't showed up in either story for CT or CS. Also I'm a little sadden that one of my friends is buying the game simply because Makoto is going to be in it lol ~.~

Hehe thanks, I like it too and it was so hard to pick which Tsubaki image I liked best so I used em all! (except the one of her academy uniform...I like Tsubaki back then too, just didn't like the way it looked on her. Her Zero Squad outfit has grown on me, stupid hat and all :3) Also stop playing MW2 >.

Actually is was just a port of said PC title with all the hentai content removed, the only console versiion that maintained the H content was one of the first SNES ports (which was removed in the Saturn port of that game). VG has always been an H fighter, just one of the few good ones that actually improved on the quality of it's actual game :3 But yes Advance VG2 is awesome ^^ (got the chance to play it at a friends) and I'm sad I can only find AVG1 >.<

Hehe this shouldn't have been named the "Variable Geo Series" thread x.x of which I found a PC copy of Advance Variable Geo and will hopefully be buying it next week (or the week after for sure) so I'll definately give my impressions then. Hmm judging from your last big post you should also look into a game called Love Plus (and it's soon to be released sequeal Love Plus+) as alot of the relationship systems you described are very similar to that game. And pretaining to the mini-games you should look at the XY/XX series (Feel the Magic and the Rub Rabbits) rather than WarioWare as this series has the same amount of diversity in it's mini-games, but they are geared toward building a relationship/trust with your girl friend (in some zany but fun ways :3) Honestly this seems like a really great idea but it would be a programming nightmare @.@ you'd need like 5 teams working on the project at once, but if you can have 100% dedication from your fellow teammates than this could go down as one epic title. If you have any other ideas/details you want to throw out there I'll be happy to analyze ^-^ Hmm maybe I should start a thread about my game, I do have some material to show...

The game you want to make sound like a mix of Robopon and Sakura Taisen, also let me state that while visual novels are very story focused and thus requiring alot of reading (or listening in VO cases), visual novels have evolved alot and can be pretty much integrated into ANY other genre. Many great titles incorparate visual novel elements such as the Guilty Gear series (X+ and up), BlazBlue, Sakurai Taisen, Persona 3 and 4, ANY NIS game, Super Robot Taisen, etc the list could go on. The genre "Dating Sim" actually stemed from the visual novel series and the best example of this potential great system is in the PSone classic (at least for me) Thousand Arms. You also must understand that while "Ero" and "visual novel" are often treated hand-in-hand not ALL visual novels are Eroge, and most of the GOOD ones that are use the erotic content in a tasteful way that makes logical (most times ~.~) sense with the story and not just doing it because the can. Great Eroge I would reccoment include Saya no Uta (or Song of Saya), School Days, Tsukihime, Fate/Stay Night, and Utawarerumono. Actually if look at the roots of many great anime/manga series you can see that alot are adapted from novels and Eroge, but I digress :3 Saddly I haven't played Variable Geo (which is also based from an Eroge) but I saw the hentai and anime (essentially the "clean" version of the hentai) once. I might try looking for the game to add to my data gathering for my own game (which will be a fighting game/visual novel hybrid). Lastly 2 questions; you say there will be "custom" girls? So are they like androids or like dolls/toys (a la Angelic Layer or Buso Shinki), and how will you handle said customizing as that'll require some serious dev time depending on how you go about it.
