[CP] News & Gameplay Discussion (Old)
SolxBaiken replied to kosmos badgirl's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
If she doesn't shout, "I AM THE LAW!" during on of her attacks, I'll be sorely disappointed v.v But yeah she's shaping up to be one of the most interesting BB characters in quite some time IMO, and I love the intro where she transitions from Tsubaki. -
2 Broke Characters, Monday nights on CBS Still love this game, but I don't remember being able to pick the same character twice, what kind of MvC2 sorcery is this!? o.o

If you aren't going to contribute then don't bother posting I'm really loving the polish they're giving this title, especially when you consider this will be a free title. LOVE the addition of stage select and the menus flow well, I actually want to see Rainbow Dash finished as that who I have the most interest in at the moment.

There's nothing really new there, all they did was release the trailer they showed at the Taipei Game Show (WAAAAAAAY back in February...) No update on the console port still.

Wow really? lol I've only ever heard "You think I have the answer to your questions?" until CS2 patch came, then I only ever heard "Just shut up and die" and wept v.v -

Yes he's always said that, just got a new fight sequence zzz Well actually in CS he said "You think I have the answer to your questions?" but in CS2 this was changed to "Just shut up and die" which I always found odd, especially since Ragna's dialogue didn't change "Where the hell's Saya?" -
Well Calamity Trigger itself is just one Causality Loop, and Closed Loops and Causality Effects are discussed in Continuum Shift on several occasions. However yes Noel's existence (and apparently Makoto was able to travel to some alternate timeline or something) does indeed indicate the existence of alternate parallels. I don't think BB is following 1 specific set of rules, but it obviously has the least in common with Mutable theory.

It's time travel 101, even when "new" events are introduced to a sequence of events, you can never truly alter what has already occurred. It's actually very plausible that in the "original" (which by the way is a subjective term in such a context) timeline "Bloodedge" was "Jubei" then as the variable of Ragna+Mu = Black Beast = Circular time point occurred, the "Jubei" and "Bloodedge" we know assumed their current roles. You can alter time but you can never change it, it just sorta shuffles itself to accommodate any changes.

Yeah Mu, Makoto, and Valkenhayn debuted as console characters first, these kinds of decisions are really up to the community more than a pure black/white. But considering how important console gaming has become to fighters there's little reason to not play with the most prominent version despite it's platform, so long as it's unanimously accessible to all parties (ie. why console exclusive -as in PS3 only- characters are more often than not banned). But seeing how developers are willing to keep both arcade and consumer versions up to date as much as possible this usually isn't a big deal in the long run.

He's said that since CS1... Where he dashes around in wolf form for a bit and then finally sits in place and flips his hair back, right? One of the weirdest dialogue lines he's ever had (in my mind) is "Are you prepared...TO FIGHT A MONSTER!?" I always thought it was weird that he would refer to himself in such a manner

Special Intros 1 The only thing resembling Tao that could be evil is Mecha-Tao (which I would totally love to have as an actual character if it ends up as hilarious as Robo-Ky) an "Evil" Tao would probably be just as oblivious and incompetent (in a good way)

Play Asia is legit, they're pretty good, especially if you pay for the more primo shipping, but yeah a bit pricey IMO, but I've heard they've gotten better over the years~ -

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)
SolxBaiken replied to Hecatom's topic in Under Night In Birth
Hi Counter or no, Hyde has had 9k combos for awhile now (double Chain Shift lolol) This is a "Combo-ge" where the momentum or "abare" is very high and you can land long combos/high damage off of nearly any hit. These games are about turning the experience into a 1P game as much as possible (see: Marvel, Chaos Code) although this game is pretty bad because it's not that uncommon to see the SEVEN GOLDEN LETTERS! (Perfect) It's just the nature of the game, although with more adjustments to Chain Shift (it shouldn't give you meter, and the damage boost in Vorpal is kinda lol) and characters in general (It's cool that throws prorate heavily and you have to work to get at least 3k, but they do 2kish on their own and the combos off of them are still nice timer eaters) it could change, but unless they make some major update or a sequel I don't see the game changing much. -
Hmmm, they've been referencing the Mutsuki house alot ever since entering Ikaruga, I wonder if we'll learn more about the Duodecim and what exactly they do nowadays.

She's obviously Asuka from Eva (specifically the Rebuild movies, more specifically Unit-02)

The PS2 ver always ran faster than arcade cabinets, reportedly this ver operates at the same time as the arcade ver.

Then you're going to hate Overdrive since they act on similar principles upon activation -

Huh? Oh well I just kinda get on sporadically, less so more cause I'm trying to finish my "holy manuscript" but like just send me a VM on here and tell me what you want to play, and I'll usually get to it ASAP. Pretty much lurk DL whenever I'm up and at home
