I haven't been able to play GG or MB since school started. I could only take either my Xbox 360 or PS2 when I moved out into my dorm room. And I just got Continuum Shift so... I first started playing GG in 2008, a junior in high school that was virtually bummed out all the time. XX, X, and even GG1/2 are games I enjoy playing and can't get tired of. Now anything else seems to pale in comparison to GG. But with this dumbing down craze thanks to SF4(worst fighting game in recent memory), now Pachi, a former tourney player, is saying he'd would take out FRCs, which isn't that hard. Oh but everyone and their mom can manage to mash 1-frame links in SF4. Why? They put up with it because it's Street Fighter, that makes me all sort of sad. I really don't have much gathering/ranbat/tourney experience, I've only been able to attend SRK gatherings in Sac, but it's always for SSF4. I'd be the black guy that brings Guilty Gear and Melty Blood with him just because he doesn't like S/SF4. I wanna learn, I don't wanna be free forever, I want to enjoy this game with others. So how the hell can I do that when a majority of the meetings are not in my area at all? And if my other matters somehow interfere with events I could have gone to, or I don't have a job that provides steady income thanks to the shitty economy so I won't have to worry about my mom taking my grants and loans from me for the _nth time. Despite this, during Winter break, I'll be on shut-in mode, enjoying more GG/MB/JJBA/BB/ST/anything except S/SF4, because that's how I roll. So yeah, the fact we don't have a location that can be used for players to meet sucks. That's why I said Sac needs an arcade, real talk.

That is actually a great idea. I also thought it would be cool if we had a setup for just casuals, and have a line that losers go into and the winner stays until they lose, just like the arcade. Even can have some sort of money match like that. I just wanna say please have some gatherings that I can actually have a chance of going to. Most of the time it's too far, and usually I can't find a carpool...so yeah. I know I live near that place. Is it nearby a grocery store? If it's during Winter break for me, then that's a yes. I'd like to get a date first before saying something though.

Probably was on the PS2 port only. I know the XBLA port removed the original Neo Geo game, so they may have taken that out too.

I understand his reaction. SF4's a terribad game. Also, is Umineko a good show? I got bored after the first episodes, with all of the trolling and countertrolling involved. Higurashi was the same, but I actually enjoyed watching that one. I am hype for another "poverty" fighting game though. I hope that my laptop can run it.

We already know we're probably the worst region in terms of skill in fighting games. Why? Fuck, I wish I knew. Also, I agree that Ramsey is great at putting dumb niggas on blast when it's needed.

welp, I wasn't trying to whine about the changes, and I got the point of the picture. This is why I try not to be funny in real life or the internet, it never works. I am down with gameplay that stresses spacing, hell I love playing OG Super Turbo, and there's a lot of spacing in that game. I play that to improve my execution of FG fundamentals, which still suck of course.

crap sorry. I meant should I go for a reset/hitconfirm into another BE combo after a 22C at the end of the first BE combo? As in making them guess wrong and punishing them with another combo. What's good for that, 2A, 2B, 3C? would 2C work also?

I usually just do 5D->22C after just one BE instead of double lately. funnily enough, I was able to land double BE combos just fine when I started. Is it a good idea to go for a reset after a 22C into another BE combo?

torrents are good for whole series that are finished, especially if the file is in good health. I also make sure to seed as long as I can.

Would it be safe to say that one should only focus on more basic BnBs before going for Belial Edge combos? Because then there's guaranteed damage and knockdown from a combo that's safer because you can actually do it instead of fumbling around going for a BE combo off the bat and risk getting punished for dropping anything. Also, 3C->5D(1)->22C works, just harder to time. Plus for those having problems with ending double BE combos with 22C, after the second BE, dash forward a small bit, then input 5D(2)->22C. If you can't do that yet, just end it in HF->followup or ID->Axe kick knockdown. j.C is a good way to catch people running ahead, but what can I do off of a CH j.C? I usually just (JC)j.D->ID->axe kick.
