Unfortunately true, and I'd only play ST out of the three you mentioned. I just don't want to believe it. What Japan has that America doesn't is accessibility to arcades/game centers, can actually adapt better in matches, don't autopilot, and the players actually practice a lot with multiple casuals/ranbats/tourneys. So hey, guess what? I decided to take my copy of Accent Core+ and tried to rip the sounds and voices off using PSound. Problem is, the files are all fast and squeaky. Anyone wanna volunteer to convert and fix the sounds to make them actually legible? Or can teach me how to do it myself?

I hope MML3 will be good without his supervision. I'm a MML fan, and it's the only reason I'll ever get a 3DS. But yeah, Layton vs. Wright is hype. But both of those series I fear may become "cash cow status" after this crossover succeeds (it most likely will)
