While it is exaggerated I disagree, the point is it's flawed logic. Also I can use a better example. 2010, SBO semi-finals Tetsu vs. Fumo. Fumo blocks 6B twice and also respects 6D in a blockstring. Why didn't he just mash out, according to his view? :|

Actually my remark is towards how you apparently remove human error all the while speaking ill of people even getting hit by the tactic while also treating the option as a single entity. Why don't you just block daisharin mixup? I mean 6A is 22 frames! What kind of garbage are they trying to pull? Wait a minute, it works because there are other options, because you can train your opponent and/or rely on human error. Just like this case. Getting mashed out? It's time to frame trap at the place you would normally do it, don't use it so much or even do it from a different setup!

It's a good thing you don't play this game, isn't it?

I think you should give specific users only the privilege to write on the calender. If someone wants to be given the privilege they can PM you or a supermod.

Pressure =/= Mixup
-
As mentioned, it's not getting that far ahead of it. It's your opponent's reflexes, most good players aren't going to mash or stick anything out in that situation, they're going to play it safe. Jin has good enough mixup, it's complimented by his neutral game. When you aren't in a situation to do mixup, you can just play neutral until you land a hit. His mixup isn't gimmicky (gimmicks are options that have no variables) and it's not particularly risky. Could you explain why it's risky to you? Everyone can get DP'd or mashed out of their mixup in almost all cases.
-
It's not even close to being a gimmick, lol. If it were nothing but a gimmick, people wouldn't be scared of it. 6B > throw throw > block 2A throw > OS If you guess wrong and 6B their OS, you get to continue pressure anyways. Hardly a gimmick. :| Also mixup doesn't refer to just high/low, he has good mixup.

You know the "it's dustloop! hahahahaha" posts are really shitty, almost as bad as the uninformed users posting false info or people just having really bad, no-logic arguments. Really if you hate DL so much and are just going to keep perpetuating the idea that this place is terrible (hey, it's your fault too!) then stop coming here and posting.

Drop from the staff and do a j.B

I already touched on my personal opinions about weakness/strengths and I do agree with you on the method of thinking. I don't have a problem with anything else written here. While Chou's list is extreme, I won't deny that, like most others that get posted I think it can be taken with a grain of salt, no more, of course. While I don't remember exactly, the first part was SS: Taokaka S: Litchi Bang was either with Litchi or in like S- or something.
-
I was just asking why you disagreed, mainly, regarding the character's capabilities, not the bandwagoning. I personally think she's very strong and I'd lump her up at the top. But like you said, tier lists are biased and should be taken as a grain of salt. As far as Tao goes as far as people agreeing on her placement, the line seems blurry from "A" to "S" tier. For the tier lists, I just wanted to know why you think Chou's should be basically disregarded (I may be wrong about your feelings over it, reading your reply), you've given me good enough reasons. Personally I don't think any of them are really more right than another, but as most people should know the tier lists should be taken with a grain of salt anyways.
-
You didn't really answer my question, at least directly to my post. I mean if your biggest reason that Taokaka is not S tier is that it's just a bandwagon thing...It's not a detailed answer and it doesn't really have any weight. As far as SBO goes, Tsujikawa playing well does indeed just mean Tsujikawa played well but for a lot of people it was the first time they saw a good Tao. Watching a good player let's you see the character's strengths and weaknesses and really she doesn't have any glaring ones. I would acknowledge her lack of strong defensive options without meter as a bigger problem, except her capabilities to play keep away and not even have to get put in that situation are great. Her movement is strong, her risk/reward is amazing to the point it can be scary. Why does a top player tiering characters their own way mean they're "extremely biased"? Of course they have bias, however, having bias because other tier lists look different or the arcadia tier lists are for some reason far more valid (why is this, to you?) doesn't mean he's extremely biased and wrong. Yeah, he's a top player. That doesn't free him from bias. But he's still a top player, that requires knowledge, so even if he thinks differently, it's not like he's just spouting out his ass. I also don't think she does poorly against Bang or Litchi at all, if anything Litchi vs Tao is very, very close to even. Not too familiar with Tao vs Bang but it doesn't seem bad. tl;dr i so mad

Are you ever going to say why you don't agree instead of just trolling the people who don't agree with you? Or how about saying why Chou's list is so "extremely biased"? That's a pretty big conclusion when you've never even spoken to the guy. Anyways, list is fine.

Staff 6A: 5A 2A 5B 2B Staffless 6A: 5A 2A 5B not sure about 2B, but I'm pretty sure you can't nope -
Fio is really boring to watch for me so I don't even enjoy some of the CS2 vids.
-
You can always corner the opponent in CS1 with the right combo variation, read the CS1 Final Combo thread to see all the essential stuff you should know.
-
Then start fighting without using Tsubame. Make a mental restriction on using the move until you no longer rely on it and then start applying it in smart situations. Also if your opponents are going out of their way to bait Tsubame, make a note of where and when they bait for it and instead of using Tsubame, grab them or use 2A to start your own pressure, or just don't take a risk at all and jump out with barrier, ready to break an air throw.
-
Sounds like you aren't sure WHEN to go for throws nor mask your attempts. Your air throws getting broken isn't that big of a deal against more than half the cast, if you have the staff just hit j.C afterwards and you're good to go. It gets much easier to land throws in general once you've scared your opponent with your other options. Practice practice practice!
-
Fixed it. And why aren't you going for air throws already? :P
-
While this is true for a blocked Itsuu, he should also know that whenever an Itsuu actually connects with the opponent the staff is considered "set" (even though it's flipping around the screen if you do nothing) as soon as Litchi recovers.

3K off of one 2A or 5A. -
The 2nd hit is -26. Dash 2C[m] or 3C[m]. Dash 3C]m[ if staffless. If you're worried about the unblockable, I'm pretty sure you can just sj.barrier after the first hit and be safe if they let it go right away. So sj.barrier fastfall, into whatever.
