  1. Saw your almost OCV vs KA2 and Koichi. Very well done.
  2. I'd almost tell them to start with Mashy blood as it has some basic GG playstyle and easy to link combos and go from there. If they like Melty Blood the leap to Guilty Gear isn't AS big as saying SF or MvC2 to GG.
  3. Guilty Gear cosplay: I-NO http://cache-foo-05.gawkerassets.com/gawker/assets/images/9/2009/09/500x_cosplay_ino.jpg
  4. http://kotaku.com/5353096//gallery/?selectedImage=11 Apparently the guy is from PAX... Very nice Bang.
  5. At first I wanted to pick Jin because I was a Ky player back in GGXXAC, but then I didn't like how he played. I like Tao's goofyness and her crazy "I get through all your zoning lololol". And plus she can combo practically off of ANYTHING.
  6. For "pros" in the pros v con section you forgot to mention that he "has tager buster" /kinda off topic... but I think tager would have much better matchups if a) he can cancel out of Sledge (like potempkin) and has slidehead :D
  7. As cute as May v May? Or who drives more XD
  8. I've been looking at getting this game. Is it worthwhile to get this? IT looks sorta mashy imo but I haven't played the demo or anything.
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hu7HyturhEo Dio vs some Tao who plays this very well.
  10. Don't we win this most of the time?
  11. I'm rooting DIO all the way for SBO BB Was my favorite ABA player in GG.
  12. Note: I haven't seen any recent videos of Jin, but hopefully someone can tell me that I'm an idiot. Is it me or does Jin hit like a girl? Also, I think his dust is somewhat useless, considering it seems like you can't really use them in a combo chain. The dust moves itself are too slow and have too long recovery to really be used for starting a combo, yet it can't be used at the end of a combo for a continuation. Also, his projectiles aren't fast enough when coming out imo.
  13. Aria: moment of contemplation (as opposed to action) within an opera, cantata, [or oratorio]. Arias are characterized by being more melodic and having stronger rhythm than recitatives, and being generally in some sort of easily understood form, [like da Capo or strophic forms. Usually (but not always) will have more instruments accompanying than just the basso continuo group.] Examples: “Vi Ricorda” from Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo [Orfeo’s aria from the Act II messenger scene]; “When I am laid in earth” in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas; “V’adoro pupille” from Handel’s Giulio Caesare [Act II, sc. 2]. recitative: stylized speech for voice and basso continuo group. In an opera or cantata, a recitative contains the active text [as opposed to the aria, which contains the contemplative text]. Examples include “Thy Hand, Belinda” from Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas; “Ah quanto” from Pergolesi’s La Serva padrona, Act I, scene I from Handel’s Giulio Caesare, from numerous examples from Handel’s Messiah and Saul. * Secco recitative: recitative orchestrated only with the basso continuo group * Accompanied recitative: recitative orchestrated with the basso continuo and other instruments from the orchestra; examples include Handel’s “The Time at Length Has Come” from Saul. Yay music history!
