John, thanks for putting up with my scrub at GC tonight. I do want to take BB seriously on Exceed, so I need to more or less master stick by then. Kinda wish it wasn't a solid 40 minute drive each way though. It's not Sacramento far, but it's still annoying.

I'll be at GC tomorrow. Gotta find out if the lost and found stick is mine, and I sure as hell ain't leaving after the hour drive without playing some kinda fighting game.

I wish they would stop completely changing the way my character works and combos every installment. In all seriousness though, I'm just trying to get adjusted to basic movement. I still can't maneuver the way I want to on stick, most attempts at running result in jumping along with also having to deal with inconsistent DP input. I'm also not sure if I want to try relearning Litchi for the 4th time and maybe switch to Relius instead.

Alright, I have a slight emergency. I cannot find my headphones or my stick anywhere. Of this I am absolutely sure, they are effectively no longer in my possession. Because I cannot find them, I am considering the possibility that they are both at Gamecenter on Oct 1st (or at the least, the stick). I know for certain I left a 6-way power adapter in the back room wall outlet, but I don't care much about that. If someone goes to Gamecenter soon, let me know if there's a random/lost/held MvC3 PS3 tourney stick. That's probably mine. The headphones are of the Sennheiser brand, but I don't know what model specifically (gift). I'm willing to reward someone a free $20 PSN gift card if they find either the stick or both and hold on to it for me/deliver it (if close). If that's not possible, I'd still love a confirmation for whether or not it's there. If it isn't, they must've been stolen. Which sucks.

Man, that is easily the shittiest I've ever performed at NCI. October is officially hardcore training month for me until I can AT THE VERY LEAST be respectable at GG again. Chun, because we didn't have time to raffle the games this time, here's a suggestion for next time: Raffle prize games off near the beginning of the tournies, or at several midway points. I've compiled a list of pros and cons that show the effect on future extra prize giveaways: Pros -Everyone is around when prizes are given away, rather no one has gone to eat yet. -Amount of time taken up is literally within about a minute, 2 tops, per giveaway. (Not affected by suggested changes) -I find it much harder to get a mass of people to agree on anything the later into the night we get. We were playing Samurai Kirby for example. Cons -Seriously? Free shit for entering tournies. Fuck your cons. Also, shoutouts to AJ always choking against players he's never played against.

You better not truffle shuffle all over the tourney brackets. Seriously though, how hard could running a bracket be? The only issue is trying to get all your competitors to not go to the nearest fried chicken depot in the middle of matches.
