All I saw in those matches was: TO MICH STUMP, NOT NUFF BUTTURFLIES. And the rest was fine. I think what everyone else said pretty much covers it though. Also, FB Rin chasing tends to be kind of........yeah

Problem solved. Short thread is short.

I tried clicking on the match vid links, but the screen goes blank and nothing comes up. What am I doing wrong here?

I'm considering getting the game, but the matter of what to get it on appears: Should I wait till I get Swap Magic and get the PS2 version, or should I download the PSP version? I'm thinking PS2 right now, just to play with all my buds that don't own PSP's.

Last time she lost her pin, she fell behind trying to find it. After she found it, she caught back up with the rest of the A group.

Times? Like, early morning, mid afternoon, or late night?

I've been playing this matchup pretty frequently as of late. Grabbing GP's is pretty much the only way to avoid a massive hassle, as Litchi isn't terribly great at dealing with them otherwise. Too many of Litchi's moves have a tendency to be unsafe on whiff or GP block, and Bang is really decent at emphasizing on that. A lot of times when he jumps in its just safer to ST>A (Straight Through, A followup) or j.C or even 2C on occasion, just because if you decide to Tsubame (like you usually would), and he GP's it, not only does he get a free counter hit into 2B, 623B, but you just lost your staff. Also, don't burst. Seriously, bursting just gets you killed since Daifunka always, ALWAYS wins. 6 (the fake out) is a decent okizeme bait for Daifunka, but don't overuse.

When's the next ranbat? I need to plan this shit ahead of time.

Was the tourney on console or arcade? If it's on console, I'll prolly be at the next one.

Gotta stop playing this game like Guilty Gear. I keep bringing Anji-isms to the fight. Surprisingly, its been working. Apparently using Zidane's Tidal Flame as a "butterfly" and guessing opponent's reactions correctly works pretty damn well.

In my opinion the best way to start a match is 5B. There's so very little that Tager can actually do against it (outside of possibly 3C). Usually, with 5B, either you got a free interrupt>combo, they blocked it and you suffer no penalty if you choose not to follow up (and leave yourself possibly open to punishment for attempting 6A or 2B>6A mixups, which can still be rewarding), or Tager backdashed into.....well nothing really. Nothing he can do now that he ended up creating negative amounts of distance for himself, which is when you start playing with 6B and j.C. Rebel, Action, 5B. Kinda decent here.

That's the weekend I'm gone. Damn. Wait, I can't play stick anyways......

Game comes out on Tuesday. Illegal pirated version was released like 6 days ago.

I don't see why everyone has such a hard time with this. It's really not that bad. Hell, I'm sure most pad Carl players switch Drive to one of the shoulder buttons to make it more possible. I friggin play Carl on the side with X and it's fine.

I don't know dude, getting Tager in the corner and into a position by which to execute the Riichi combos in itself just seems like a bad idea against Tager. Kinda because getting that close to Tager is generally bad. Giving him extra oppurtunities for Soviet damage is to be avoided.

I'm still working on the RiichiA corner combos, can get them started without screwing up about 50% of the time on most characters, but I keep running into the same problem. After the 3rd Riichi hit, I drop, 9, j.C, JC(9), [D], ]D[, and always miss with the falling j.C. Anybody know why this is? Am I supposed to jump higher after the first j.C, hold D longer (I just tap it right now), or something else entirely? (Mostly been practicing on Ragna if that helps)

Wanted something close to Anji, only two characters had similar autoguard properties (Bang/Litchi). Was originally gravitating towards Bang, but Litchi's style seemed so much more elegant and stylish to me. I can't resist the "flowing rhythm" style characters, or rather characters that fight with an indication of perfect rhythm. I still think Anji is the coolest fighting game character of all time, but Litchi is plenty fun. Plus, I just could never get down Bang's BnB. Too unusual.

Any chance they'll release this in the states? Preferably with lag fixed?

Dizzy's tier placement conuses me. I thought she was supposdely low to mid C, but there were friggin 8 of them at SBO, and that's too many for a simple fluke. Is she better than I thought, or is Japan just god with Dizzy?

Really, it just doesn't hurt to try. Method A eats the 720 every time, Method B at least gives you the 50% chance of NOT eating 720 calories of PAIN!

Oh mah god that's amazing. Best Airman parody I've seen so far.

Cause it's all Dustloop knows how to do these days.

If you think we (as in the Litchis) rely on infinites then you're crazier than that Psyduck over thar --> Also: Rachel/Arakune/Nu vs Storm/Sentinal/Magneto. Let's rock.

Shounen and BLEED, I be rooting for ya.
