  1. yah it works especially j.B... it catches a lot of tao's mid air when they are flying around and from there you can either Hit confirm into ground b c 3c [d] iad jc etc...or J.b j.c dj.c dj c and dareshin(sp?) if you have meter and depending on if they are on the ground or in the air... just make sure you dont get counter hit by Tao's air c...
  2. ^ he is right... 6c staff return should not work against good players...maybe once per match... after you tech and block 6c (last hit is over head and it is not safe ) she is susceptable to a CH combo...

  4. I like her long combos and resets... and I normally go for combo/reset/mixups chars...(i-no,millia) plus i love when she yells "Chun!! and tsubame gaeshi!!"
  5. yep, that would be ME yeah I saw that you responded but I knew some of that stuff...thnx though... I know that posting on Gfaqs...is not the best place to be asking serious questions (advanced anyway) about Litchi...but Gfaqs is my home away from home...it gives me a chance to be silly about the game... i have the thread tracked..so i can find it...also, are you sure about jb..beating his j.6a? I played alot with our local arakune (HB) it seems like it beats it
  6. what happens when cloud is out, you throw the staff but they block both hits and the could is still lingering toward you then 5d /j.2D? how do you deal with dives... and Jb with out staff? i need more tips on this matchup...Imo, this is one of her most annoying matchups...
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIfLf2XO4bY&feature=channel_page wierd I-no, his offense was primarily through dives (lol h-dive and lol, dash into super)... and empty dash ins which you could have like 6p'd i believe(well you did on some of them)...that I-no apparently doesnt like HCL, lol (why?????) nor does he know that hcl connect after j.s j.h or maybe forgot...you won that match on part though cause of bad tension management on the I-no players part..(s-dive rc no follow up..rc this, that etc...)not saying that they weren't necessary at times...but tension could have been spent on stuff like note frc (which he did like once) and HCL frc combos...

  9. i think he is sliding to get the motion and that the problem, the accidental 236 ...when i used to do millia combos on pad i pressed 2 held it for a bit till they were in the air then I hit 8k or 9 kd depending if i was going for a relaunch combo.. its pretty easy just practice 2h j.k..till you get the timing...like previously mentioned, 2h gives you alot of time to prepare a j.k or j.s...Millia's combos are easier on pad than stick (for me any way) maybe cause i can do j.k-d better and ADC faster
  10. fighting Tao is a pain in the ass so is fighting arakune...and Nuu those I would classify as his worst matchup other than bang with bang install and life lead...with tao you gotta block and IB as much as possible, do not spam counters unless you see and know you can counter the move ...you will get CH into like a 3k+ combo and end up in the corner where she starts pressure again...try to tech away from the corner if you get KD and if you have meter you can usually surprise them with a quick 214b into corner 2c loop....make sure you dont drop combos vs tao (that goes for against any character but especially against her) make sure you seize every opportunity to hit her and make it hurt because you get very little chances... I would consider my hakumen to still be okay but not great... yet...I have to play against too really good Taos here in NYC in KKl and Drunken chicken...even though they have totally different playing styles, you have to fight them the same way..wait for the mistake(hit, counter ) and punish hard and dont be afraid to block alot; it takes alot of hits for tao to guard crush Hakumen and you only need like 6 or so stars to guard crush her....I end up on the losing end anyway against those too so take my advice for what you will...

  12. after getting KD...you can tech closer to them or buffer 214b though this should be used wisely, IAD/AD J.C/J.B J2.C, walk, or dash foward also you don't have to go to them let them come to you...I know I lost tons of matches this way..I get too antsy try to Iad J.C only to get anti aired when my opponent predicts this..I see that I do alot better in matches when I let my opponents start their rushdown and look for holes that I can attack in off course this does not work all the time cause I block incorrectly alot....aka...I forget to block low,even though I know the low is coming...it doesn't take that much damage though, (except maybe against litchi cause her combos are so frickin long!) cause most lows prorate damage alot...
  13. Here is a better throw combo that I see the other hakumen player at my arcade(Tian) using and it gives KD... (relatively near corner) throw..236 A 2C jc J2C falling JC 5C 236A 6B...
  14. not only that.. after the combo is over...there is a reset from the staff hit(him calling it back I think)...very hard matchup for Hakumen or anyone... Her DP is way better than Rangas...hits twice.. safe (i think) leads to full combo, KD, then Reset....*sigh*

  17. in general, should I be using 5D or 6D to catch over heads and mids..? or does it depend on the move?...if so give examples..like against rangas/jin's rush in kick and noel's 6a...

  19. Nice I-no players!!!! though fallen eye has a tendency to go for rather difficult combos which he drops...

  22. Is anyone else as annoyed as I am with her win pose and the noise she makes.... nevermind i got used to it after i used her for the whole day at CTF today.. also what are her good air to ground options...
  23. hmmm.. if she is not too broken i am going to pick her up....good thing i decided to play rachel once i saw her before the tier list came out so i don't seem like a tier whore....and people at CTF know my rachel is not good at all
