  1. There is a thread, it seems people don't want to ban characters.

  2. Get your friends to play it, then you have a scene of your own! I totally suggest messing around with character banning ect. yourselves, since this isn't a tournament game its not THAT big a deal, but we already found weaker reload characters being VERY powerful against some of the slash cast. I think the main thing is you are either playing reload with a few slash additions, or you are playing slash with a bunch of reload additions. It partly depends on which base game you like more.

  3. Ew your mom.
  4. Start playing Slash Digital Watches, so next time you come down you can play slash with us.
  5. I think aba was probably B tier as well. You should play with us, we are coming up with some rules of characters choices that might make a very interesting game. Come down and stay with kenji for a bit!
  6. I would love to see a matchup chart. I want to see if balance is tightening or slipping for AC.
  7. I think it baited bursts too. And it hit a really good spot for anti air's that he lacks in AC. I would love it instead of far S in ac. Plus I thought it looked funny, which I liked.
  8. Lies he was amazing and fun, perhaps incomplete, but not dry and boring. But I will drop it, just can't let this slash hos libel go unanswered!
  9. Rock it was money too, so was 2S. And jump S was also cool. 2d though, poor 2d =(.
  10. HOS has a very strong corner combo off throw in slash, just fyi. His trouble is getting damage off lows, which he also has a bit in AC unless you can do decently difficult combos. And if you can do the difficult combo in Slash, he can get damage off his low there too. I wish there was a way to put handicap in GG generations though, throw hos a bone.
  11. Guilty Gear generations is the new hype.
  12. He can't dash, so I doubt it.
  13. AC is really boring to me. It doesn't feel like GG either, it feels like a guilty gear made by a really big fan to be extra cool. And in fact, it was a guilty gear made by a really big fan to be extra cool. I played Slash HOS while I was in japan for like 6 months, and honestly enjoy him more than AC hos, but I will be playing slash dizzy. Thanks for the chart. You guys should start playing GG generations also if this works out. We are coming up with a solid ruleset of which characters are allowed, I will tell you how it goes. Edit: Oh and shin quickman, any idea what the source for that is?
  14. Does anyone have the last accepted slash tier list? My area is going back to playing GG generations and I am quite curious.
  15. Dust anyone have any late Slash dizzy videos of Japanese players?
  16. You guys should make a different thread for japanese vids versus american ones.
  17. You are probably not using enough 2c.
  18. This doesn't work because V-13 can air dash off her 6D to continue pressure, get more space, and maybe even mixup. All while working your guard and gaining meter. Jumping and blocking certainly is important, but like anything in one of these games, you don't want to be to predictable. Run forwards into fd block should also be used. One interesting trick I use is when landing do the jump D cancel to get a 214D out. Can cover alot of space with a good amount of invul.
  19. If you guess one sword right, you are in. This is important, obvious, but very important. If you are not thinking about this, you probably should now and then.
  20. What is death spike?
  21. Super easy combos, all purpose pokes, fantastic speed, and braindead zoning. You don't even need her offense. I picked her up in like an hour and was beating regulars at the game. She is just that easy.
  22. Balls easy

I am link61x on aim, hit me up, i want to play some SF4!

  24. I used to do some simliar stuff with dizzy and the bubble, but the trick is, if the disk adds guard stun between the first jump K and the second, you can actually switch to low guard after the first jump k, and your guard will drop to low. That being said, no japanese players got out of my dizzy variation to this, so it may be difficult. Assuming that you cannot drop guard, then the situation mentioned is a true 50/50 for sure.
  25. We are running into a japanese definition American definition issue (as I understand from what TB has posted previously.) Henceforth I will use the american definition for fuzzy guard. There, changing my statement, there is a specific guard string you can use that blocks that specific mixup assuming your timing is on point. The low comes by a certain frame, then the high must come before she reaches ground, but at fastest 3-4 frames after the possible low, then the low could come after that. Mixing up between these options will not change the optimal blocking, so it is guardable with great practice in timing, and without reading the opponent. Now, the opponent can mix this up in other ways, but they frc point/high low mixup is feasibly blockable. Thats what I meant by the fuzzy guard, which from what I understand is the Japanese definition. The American definition would be more along the lines of a second jump K after the first, I'm not sure if that actually links, but it certainly might be possible. Millia's fuzzy guards usually work with the ball.
