What's this now? You guys rip me to shreds for using 2HS and whiffing it, but you missed it a few times in that vid like me. I'm mad. Nah, just kidding, lol. Although I have realized that it is certainly something that I can't afford to miss with. On that note, incase someone wants to analyze some more of my vids, don't bother with the vid "GGXX AC match - Zero (Dizzy) vs Order Sol #4"; I already know exactly what mistakes I made in that match. Its another one of those "WTF was I thinking matches", did okay the first round but made a lot of dumb mistakes the second, partly because I reverted to my old bad habits.

Oh yeah, just wanted to come back and say something about my use of bubbles that Kurokun mentioned - in many of my vids, you guys say I "tiger Kneed" the bubbles - my Tiger kneeing abilities aren't that bad , actually what I did was IAD ~ bubble. I can actually TK my bubbles fairly close to the ground (some of my vids should have me TKing a P bubble at various points). Just wanted to clear that up. EDIT: Another note - in my recent vids, I have started subbing out the 2k, 2HS, icespike combo for 2k, 5S [2 hit], 5HS, icespike. I like this new combo...in fact I like it a lot. Its a lot safer, although its range is slightly lower, the damage is still greater than the 2D combo... I'm just loving it. Another thing: I was messing around in training mode thinking up blockstrings and I found that 2p gattles to to 5K! Awesome. I've started using this as well. With my new found "wealth", you start seeing less of me using 2HS Stag S.

Wow, such a complete analysis! Me likie. I keep watching vids, I review the threads and write in my "black book" and still, I keep missing stuff. Above all, the things that ring true are my whiffing of 2HS noted by you and Stag.S. The airdash comment noted by Stag S. also made me go back and look more closely at what I was doing...What was I thinking?! Why aren't I using my FRC's? Lot's of stuff that just looks sloppy. From watching these vids, your playstyle suggests that: - You don't employ summons for a zoning game. - You appear to favor fighting at mid range or closer, while switching between semi defensive/offensive postures, and without the assistance from summons. These 2 things stand out to me the most when I watched those vids. The first point deals with not playing to one of DI's strengths in using summons to zone for offensive/defensive purposes which in turn limits her potential to be effective outside of oki. The second point deals with playing to one of DI's weaknesses which is her inability to fight effectively at mid to close range without summon assistance because it puts DI at a disadvantage against chars who specialize and excel at utilizing mid/close range tactics. This could be a bad habit in a match against a real life opponent who is likely to exploit and capitalize on that behavior. I guess that sums me up in a nutshell. Besides Ruby in MvC2, I don't really have experience with zoning characters and I probably play this way without taking into account I'm not playing a pure rushdown character. It seems to me that the most important blunder I've made when playing Dizzy is that I have had the incorrect mindset. All these comments are great and I have no excuses for them. Let's see I can start implementing them tomorrow.

No, no! You're not annoying at all, I'm just saying in all the time I've been using it against human opponents (and despite what you have seen, I have actually fought against good players before ) it has worked wonders. I never really whiffed with it and since I can hit confirm alright, I can forego the measly damage of 2D for 2HS, thus getting the KD and more damage. But yeah, I agree with you just saying that 2HS is so much part of my mindset and has worked so well for me that it is somewhat hard to use 2D more. But I will try. Oh definitely - I don't really like using the computer to show my skill because there things it does and does not do. Man, I wish I could have captured matches last month and when I played against this one Baiken player...

Okay, but here's the deal (and I posted this on your youtube page but I think you missed it) - the combo is great and gets the best damage for low and max range . I'm fairly good at hit confirm and it does more than subbing for cr.D. The reason I messed up in those vids is because I was too close - usually I will do 2K 2S 5H 2H 236H. You tell me to use 5S, and I do but not from that distance and not when I want to go low. I also usually FRC/special cancel the 2HS is if if its blocked or whatever, but like I said hadn't played in a few weeks and need to get back into the groove of things. Anything else? I'm sure I have other stuff I need help on.

Yeah, when I first started playing Dizzy I kept thinking whenever someone jumped in, "2S!". And was like, "Why don't they float?!" Thinking it was like a ariel rave in MvC2 or some shit

Oh yeah. That's definitely true, but you can bait them somewhat. If you watch one of my vids, you'll see I do a jumping 2S fake after initiating corner oki and fooling the Order Sol into doing a dragonpunch. But, yeah human opponents are the best.

Hey everyone! Good news - I got my signal distribution problem fixed and I can finally capture matches! I don't have anyone to play over the weekend, sadly so I'm just going to capture matches of my Dizzy against Maniac mode CPU characters. I should have them uploaded tommorow, and match vids later this week. I'll keep everyone updated.

What to do in this match-up? Faust doesn't have speed per se', but he's got great range on his normals, annoying item abilities and if we try to summon from across the screen, its open season ofr that spear command grab. Not to mention he's fairly powerful and can somewhat shut our IADs unless we have KD. Any tips on this match-up? Especially because I see this is listed as one of Dizzy's worst match-ups.

You mean that overhead that Axl players love to do after a KD?

You mean, I don't even have to do cr.k or cr.p to get it to combo? Does that mean I will do more damage?

Ah. That's an interesting color. Not as good as Tech Romancer color, but still nice nonetheless.

My problem is that is is hard to IAD in on him since his anti-air is so good. I'm thinking along the lines of Johnny, here. Does this mean we have to get the knockdown via ground gattling rather than the skies?

Well, of course. I'm not saying its a serious problem, just its easier to get c.S against Johnny in the corner because of his sprite. Sometimes I'd forget that and didn't press S again fast enough, allowing it to become Invalid and the player escaping before I could finish. The light characters like Millia just threw off my timing a little because they float so high. But I have it all under control now.

Dayum, man! The Millia player kept jumping out of your corner pressure every time. Maybe you should start the oki with IAD 2S stuff in the future against her or try to have a spike ready.
