That's only for Yukiko (we're talking whole-cast here), and even that situation isn't ideal since Liz is building meter the entire time while you're sitting there doing nothing. It also doesn't solve the fundamental problem of trying to throw anything out, since you'll get shot in the face before the attack can reach Liz. If you decide to sit in Dia, she can approach to around mid range, and then Dia becomes a huge risk since guessing wrong will get you hit; meanwhile, you still get shot in the face if you try to zone her, so you have to go in. Don't get me wrong, I don't think the matchup is bad for Yukiko (though I don't think it's particularly good, either), but it's incredibly obnoxious until you get momentum (pretty much goes for both sides).

She doesn't win zoning wars with tactical genius and elaborate strategies, she just shoots you in the face with maziodyne every time you attempt to zone her.

Testament changes could be really retarded. As if he couldn't control enough of the screen, now he gets delayed Beasts and homing Phantom Soul. EX Testament Warrant, too. If vanilla Beasts and Warrant are still in, he's probably going to be even more ridiculous than before. I love it.

Game is dumb. Arthur + Sentinel Force assist makes you better than 90% of the players. Might as well be playing IaMP. Actually knowing how to play Sentinel makes up for another 9%. On the subject of Sentinel, how in the fuck did they manage to screw up that badly? Or did they just not pay attention to the last decade or so of MvC2?

I'm assuming you're talking about Maori given the move format. You can't do anything except the super after 623X 4B if you have more than like 2 hits prior to the launcher. EF might help since your attacks come out faster, and looks like it should be necessary for that since you can't cancel jC into anything at all without EF; without it, you're limited to jA/jB 623X 4B and then either 2AB dj jC or if you have a low hitcount, jC falling 5D (top hit) jB land 5B [finisher of your choice here]. There's a lot of stuff you can do with Maori, and I wouldn't really consider launch into 5D jA 623X 4B 2AB to be particularly good for the meter involved unless you EFC the launcher. Other fun stuff: 22A step 5A 5B jB 623X 4B jA jc jB jC (top hit) landing 421A/B 5D tech throw or land 5A 5B 623A 421AB if they don't wall tech. Doesn't work if you start with them too close to the corner. If they're in the corner, don't bother with 421A/B and go with step 5A 5B 623A 421AB instead since you can't tech punish. If you're close: 421C 623X 4C jB land 5C (top hit) 5C (optional) oki setup or after the top hit, 5B 623A 421AB, or 5B jB 623X 4X 2AB, though the last one usually doesn't hit fully. There's also the old BBC loop...

1) Pick Testament 2) Forward beast if he gets within half screen 3) 6K/5K/5P/anything fast, forward beast if you suspect a super armor move 4) Jump around and set traps, especially after forward beast. Doesn't really matter where, but keeping a tree in front of you helps. 5) Back beast if he's hanging out around full screen. 6) Random Gravedigger when he's in the air 7) If you know how to combo, do so and end with curse if you can; makes life easier, but combos are less important if you can keep him out. This will pull you through against the garden variety Pot. Playing against Vince requires you to be careful 'n shit. It's annoying.

AH3 feels a lot better than AH1. If you can deal with the moe bullshit, it's not so bad.

I'd already run a mini-marathon with him before everyone started showing up, and I don't like playing Venom against Baiken since she kills all the joy I take in playing him :blue: I can only play Testament for so long before needing to switch it up, and as I have no confidence in my I-No due to almost no practice in months...yeah, thank/blame Dan. Also, no need to apologize; I don't take casuals seriously enough to be offended, and I think it's hilarious anyway. Especially the random taunts with Sol while mashing for Grand Viper. Nothing takes the edge off a match more than seeing Sol give me the finger =T
