  1. can somebody explain the otg mechanics to me in detail? in my matches and vids i watch many times people will do a simple string or just jabs on an otg opponent after a throw or random sweep. usually it looks like 3-5 hits. however sometimes i see players landing several hits on an otg'd opponent. ie Kirino (trump card activated) 2C, (opponent on ground) j.C 5B>5C>5A>5B>5C>2C>2B>2A>2B all landed. while writing this i just realized trump card was activated, so is the above string simply possible because u can reverse chain all normals and constantly keep the opponent in hitstun on the ground?
  2. getting the free 50 meter and damage reduction makes it a pretty attractive decision almost every time, the only downside is the fear of losing that little bit of blue health

  7. depends on the situation, but in general wheel can be reacted to nearly 100%, and even dodged. whereas AG is instant, if they are in the middle of their attack they cant do anything at all. good round ender, since many people would attempt long pokes while they are near death.
  8. you can also just do this tsubame combo, works on everybody IIRC. except carl, again IIRC. tsubame>*2C>jBCD>airdash>(jB)C>6C>finish how u want. (basic one, tsubame>6C>3C) u need to do a dash before the 2C, and it might be difficult to pull it off at first, but it works just fine. the second jB may need to be omitted depending on screen position.

  11. if i recall right, its a shame you cant start charging during the jumping animation of 63214A motion. it only starts charging when ur actually on the staff ._. i think..

  14. extremely situational. daisharin drop wouldnt hit too many people in the air clean @__@ and as for the rest of the meter wasting you need to be low because second rapid is impossible otherwise due to auto heat regen. but .. kinda cool anyway. just for show like a lot of those crazy combo vids.
  15. awwww maaaan i was starting to dig riichiB/C cross/mixups ._. but oh well, falling chun seems appealing to me, and if hatsu still has its long untechable time you should be able to combo off it yea? glad KM removes primer with any hit.
  16. you should activate (be pressing the button) the follow up when the opponent is at the peak of their fall from magnatechwheel. more or less.
  17. well its confirmed that second hit of 6c After tsubame is techable, so could you just do 6C>tsubame>3C?

Dissidia forums pretty good place to start, although some character forums are pretty dull and useless. http://dissidiaforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=11 is the garland forum, although there is no well made guide or FAQ there. other characters seem to get more popularity and thus have great guides, like bartz or gabranth. you can also find some replays and vids on that site.
  21. i find itsuu(AG w/e)>A works ok in my experience, as they're usually jump cancelling afterwards, which leads to combo for you but if they are just trying to hit you raw, they like to cancel drive (before or after hit, kinda matters?) w/ B, to go through. which isnt so terribly good for litchi if u got itsuu stance with your back turned although, i've found itsuu>C to randomly hit people behind me somehow. prolly char specific.
  22. well this jump kick move kinda matches the picture given, and it doesnt look like it hits upwards at all. of course, a deceptively tall hitbox is welcome.

  24. @blade i meant ex burst as in "pressing Square after landing an hp attack during exmodo" EX guard is what you are talking about, at least thats how DF people use the terminology. on topic and i think ex specials are ok, although some are still really OP ;_; with no EQ on, Bartz EX guarding out of your combo into goblin punch does hell of a number on you, but even still you just have to play it safe and bait it out, and punish with ranged attacks.
  25. so about ryuuisou, so is it gonna have a animation before the super flash? (like kokushimusou) or is the super flash still instant while the flame takes a while to come out? (kind of like nirvanas uppercut super) either way agreed that it should have been kept the same. after really thinking about it.
