  1. What's the damage on that? I prefer 2d jd 2b 623b d.2b 6c jc j.C. Does like 3.3k damage and works on everyone but Carl I believe since you can't 2b 623b otg him. You can follow up with D-nails to keep them in place and continue pressure. You can combo it into an a-nail to add poison. You can get them with a c-nail if they're dumb and don't block on tech (lawl only noobs). But either way, most of the time d-nails will help a ton after it if you delay them. It hits them right as they tech meaning you have time to continue a combo if they don't block, or if they block, keep the pressure up as a followup to a 3.3k damage, 2 seal combo. I've stopped using the 4-seal combo (2D jc j.D 2369c \/ jc j.D 2369c \/ 5D jc jB jc jB jC. Just to use one more nail to continue my pressure game.

  4. Eh I don't think the damage would be worth the 100% heat requirement honestly. I would rather use 236C before the kick in the throw hits and combo after that for better Oki setups. Uses 0% heat, but 1 nail. Though it is a combo, it can used towards the end/middle to bait bursts. Actually would burst fail against this? since you can't burst the 5c cause it came from a throw?
  5. 5a 5b 2b 6c j.D 2369C \/ d.6c j.D 2b 9 j.C crossup in Dora (Bang) vs Wagen (Ragna) The crossup only occurs if Ragna techs after the 2b which is likely.   6. 2 is best for anti-air. But you can usually fix the range by doing an (A) teleport. if you get to autoguard. edit: shit double post . If a mod could merge my posts it would be nice.
  7. yeah it's Furinkazan. And the 2b j.4c loop can be done on most of the characters I believe. I saw it against Nu and Arakune. Dunno about Noel, Carl, and Litchi, but I think it works on the rest of the cast.
  8. Take a good look at the video thread we have. There are a ton of good videos there. But I would first advise you to look at his entire attack list including normals, specials, and distortion drives. A list of them are in the Bang guide. After you get used to them and see what they look like, it would be good to watch vids so you can understand what the players are doing and how you can do them. It's nice to see another bringer of justice in these parts :P

Yes, 2c is very easy to punish, or if you see it coming out, you can autoguard it with something with a CH 2D (just did that against my friend today) If Rachel is spamming lightning rods, you should try approaching more from the ground, or even use D Nails to approach (though you're very limited). Rachel pressure is pretty annoying too, but you gotta be very conscious about which ways her attacks hit, and you usually need to block for awhile, so you should be using that barrier. You should definitely rush her down when she's low on your silpheed gauge though, she can't do nearly as much without it. Though I'm curious to see what 10stars is going to post.

  11. I pieced it together. I took the idea of Daioucho's triple super crash combo, where he did 2b 623b twice and then the 3rd he did in the air. So I thought I might be able to do 2 623bs into 2363214C, but if it whiffs, then damn . You can do 2363214C after the first one very easily. It would only be a combo against Ragna/Hakumen/Tager though since their hitboxes are large enough. However, I also don't know if the damage would be good enough to replace other combos, which is why I was aiming for the 2nd 623b.
  12. Since my execution still sucks, I'm wondering if someone can test this combo on Ragna/Hakumen/Tager. j.4C [5A] 5b 2B 6C j.D 2369C 623b > 2b 623b 2363214C the 5a is optional. I've been trying it for a little while as a whim. Though I haven't checked the damage, etc since I keep messing up after I get the 2b after the first wallslam. I'm pretty sure you can 623b afterwards. You need to try to have the enemy floating a little high after you use 2369C so they bounce higher on your 623b to give you time for that 2b. The timing is a little strict. Not posting this into the combo thread since I don't know exactly how much it does.
  13. If they put up a barrier, try to grab them If not, uh, maybe throw in a 2369a/b/d at the end of your blockstring then.
  14. Well, that combo is used for finishing off opponents if they're trying to save their burst until later. I don't think it's a waste of a distortion despite not having that much damage. There are a lot of different combos you can use, though usually if you make it look obvious (like hitting with 623b) that you're going to use 2363214C people will normally burst before you can hit them. This combo can also be used as burst bait when they're in the web as well. It has several uses.
  15. The new pink bang video is absolutely INSANE! Definitely going to start practicing those combos. Especially the triple super crash! It sounded like his name was Daiocho. I couldn't exactly tell, but yeah. Maybe we should do some researching on this infamous pink bang to see if there are any other vids?
  16. Yeah, pad sucks for execution. I honestly can't do 623 motion consistently from the 1p side on pad.
  17. Couldn't have said it better myself. When people become more experienced, they're going to have a much better grab reaction than they do now. Comboing into grabs isn't a great idea, and really shouldn't be used. Grabs in Bang's case should be used well, in very seldom cases, but mainly for techchase, or yomi.
  18. Every time I watch Dora's bang I learn so much. vid1 vs Failure's (障害) Jin I lol'd at the 2nd round finish of the first match. I've seen it before, but I still lol at it. 5c 2363214c is too good. He wins with it pretty much twice... So good xD vid2 vs R-1's Noel CHj.D 2b 623b 2363214c 5.1k damage combo. So simple, yet so effective. 2:18->2:40 (the finish) is amazing. 3:44-3:53 LMAO!!!!! FRKZ then grab, noel breaks and then Dora runs up and grabs again! AMAZING lmao!!! 4:41 FRKZ mixup is really nice. j.b 6 j.b 6(back to where he was) j.b 5b. Very tricky Dora! Making R-1 think that he's going to combo off of CH j.b twice lol. 5:23 predicts Noel's overhead and does 9 j.a whiff j.4c and his Noel while avoiding her attack and combos off of the j.4c into 5a j.a j.a j.b ^ j.b j.623b And yay how Dora wins both sets in vid 2. Really happy about that. Great games, close match in the end.

  22. Yeah, in this game, you don't really need to buffer inputs or input them really fast. It's very easy to do them if you just take your time.
  23. The only problem is that you had to really like, place Nu in one spot. That's the thing. She needs to be in the perfect spot to do that or else she will either tech too soon or be too far before you can get her with 5b. :/

  25. Yeah it would be a good idea to state who you're comboing against, cause a lot of combos are character specific. Tager is the easiest to combo though. I normally train on Ragna, Jin, v-13, Arakune, and Carl. Depending on what kind of combo I'm trying to make or practice.
