Well, then work on being more consistent dammit lol. I don't remember you playing like this before
-
Alright, when I have time I'll make vids for new combos. I'm gonna have to fish through the thread for the combos.

Block and hold A+B for barrier guard to get them off of you. Of if you're being pressured too much and you have 50 Heat, you can hit 6A+B after blocking to perform a counter assault which knocks them to the other side of the screen. That's the thing about a ton of players, they want to just attack and attack, but they don't know how to guard :/. You need to be more patient and guard, then wait for an opportunity to attack. Bang's 5A is his fastest move, though 6D has autoguard starting frame 1, and you can teleport from it. Bang has options to get out of pressure, though it's one of those high risk / high reward situations. Wake up guard is the safest option unless you think they're going to command throw you (Tager or Bang). Back-dash CAN be an option, but Bang doesn't have too many invincibility frames. Jump block is an option too, but is risky and you're going to have barrier guard while doing it so you don't get hit by air-unblockables. Though overall the safest thing to do is block in Bang's case. As for FRKZ combos, please check the Furinkazan topic supplied by 10stars and me. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6766

Man WUT, you've gotten a lot better. Though wow, you've finally changed your voice to Japanese and DORA colors!? What madness is this!?
-
Yeah, me and 10stars did awhile ago, 10stars made a vid about it. nails guard crush them into daifunka which resets and they block the rest of the hits except the last which does like over 3k by itself.
-
No, a combo is a combo. Should work regardless of settings. Maybe it's the timing on your first 623B. You can't do it too early, you need to delay it slightly.
-
Thanks. I just tested 5D non-CH on everyone. These are my results for max damage without heat or nails. 5D /\ j.AAB dj.BC - 2038 damage 1 seal Carl 5D /\ j.B623B \/ 5B /\ jAAB j.BC - 2904 damage 1 seal Rachel 5D /\ j.623B \/ 2B 6C j.C - 2943 damage 1 seal Nu + Jin 5D /\ j.623B \/ 2B 6C j.C623B - 3259 damage 1 seal Arakune + Tager 5D /\ j.D 2B 623B d.2B 6C j.C 3233 damage Taokaka (I can't land j.BC for some reason... I'm guessing she floats a little higher or something, but I've tried to delay the 2B 6C as much as I can) 5D /\ j.D \/ 2B 623B d.2B 6C jBC - 3367 damage 2 seals Litchi + Bang + Ragna + Noel 5D /\ j.D \/ 2B 623B d.2B 6C jBC623B - 3606 damage 2 seals Hakumen God dammit Carl

5A 5B 2B 6C j.623B \/ 2B 6C dj.BC 3211 damage Works on all Category 1 & 2 characters while standing. You can add on a j.623B against arakune for 3460 damage no seals or nails though.
-
This is VERY TRUE. Every Bang needs to learn how to do this. At least try to IB the last hit for more frame advantage.
-
Not very useful. Anyone who's awake will break out of a purple throw. I tried to do it and got it my first try. It does 4507 with 5A 5B 2B 2C 2369C \/ d.6C j.623C. Either way, not useful since people will break out of it. Currently coming up with more bumper mixups/traps
-
I made a bumper video myself here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb7AJrmsvg0 But anyway, I dunno if I can always focus while facing Litchi. Boobie lady is yummy
-
You can do j.D CH \/ 6A 623B 2343214C. I'm pretty sure we said that one awhile ago since 6A 623B does more than 2B 623B but only works if you do j.D CH while they're in the air.
-
I don't stop doing them all of the time, but if you have a few bumpers set out, you have a great way to move around and you're given more options. 5A 5B 2B 2C 214B d.2A 5B jc j.A j.C j.236D[whiff] does 2124 damage and gives you a bumper + 3 way mixup. That's only if they do a quick recovery, if they sit on the ground they eat nails and you still have oki I usually try to have at least 2-3 different bumpers out per match. Also, bumper combos deal quite a good amount of damage and chain into daifunka nicely. Or even A-nail gliding with bumpers is viable, though gimmicky.
-
Something I've noticed lately is that I've stopped doing BnBs so much. People are too used to it and making people afraid of bumpers is also great too. If they expect me trying to use bumpers (like Nu using 6D) I'll just jump up to the bumper 3-dash and 3C has caught several people off guard since they're expecting the high. Kinda risky, but definitely great for mix up, awesome if you get that CH 3C as well :3
-
You obviously haven't seen this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvPHAz6ww-Q#t=4m5s at 4:21 is where the combo is. Your oki options are most commonly 6-dash jC (behind them) 6-dash jC (in front of them) 3-dash 2C high in front, low in front, and high from behind. I even have a vid of bumper mixups on my youtube.
-
You mean Arakune, right? Also in that same vid is against Nu... And the Nu matches were quite impressive... Awesome reading by Bang.
-
Though that's good for general universal use. For Carl, i think the best one to use would be 5D jB jBC... only like 2k damage or something like that, but you really don't have options. If you do 5D j623B d.5B 2B then you'll have a worse oki setup and the damage still sucks. As for 5D combos. Arakune one is nice <3 5D sj.D 2B 623B d.2B 6C j.BC623B 3606 damage Though whoever you can hit with 5D sj.D you can get great damage off of, or even use C-nails.
-
Interesting to know. The only Litchi practice I really have is Gwyrgyn Blood which was the only decent Litchi I've even come across. (Though he dropped the baby a few times)
-
You just saw my video today you should know what's missing lol 5A 5B 2B 2C 214B d.2A 5B /\ j.A j.C 236D -> 3-way bumper mixup The mixups are 6-dash behind them j.C (yields the most damage with the follow up) [high hit behind] 6-dash in front of them j.C (Gives you another BnB) [high hit in front] 3-dash 2C (not a lot of damage, but if you hit, you can follow with 6D and follow up with a TK A-bumper which will be in great alignment with your B-Bumper. [low hit in front] The 236D will whiff if they emergency roll. if they don't they get hit by the nails.
-
Alright, I'm gonna test out some of my own gimmicks and the such when I get my stick back. I'll talk to you while doing it on AIM or something. I don't know how long it will be until you get your PS3 lol
-
Or just PM/IM me the info and I can record it and credit you
-
I won't be able to make the next bumper vid covering other techs until I get my stick back. I could do it on pad, but takes forever since I'm not used the 360 Pad :/
-
Well, didn't they only keep the ones from Arcade though? Pretty much the ones that are unlocked by default. If you're allowed to use unlocked ones, I think Bang's is unblockable and can be chained from 2D.
-
Don't even bother with AH. it's not going to be put into tourney anyway.
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XUOhjW2AXM Hide behind Nirvana so she cam eat nails for breakfast. Carl can get in pretty fast, and he just has so many ways to combo into a clap loop so it shouldn't be hard. Any knowledgeable bangs will burst during the beginning of a clap loop so yeah. Also Nirvana's anti-air move is good to stop bang in his tracks.
