Honestly, you need to go into training mode to get your combos down. You keep trying to do 5b2b623b but keep messing up or dropping the combo. Not just that, but there are other combos which are better. Also you need to look for good times to use 2d as an anti-air to autoguard hits and CH into a 4 seal combo. There is a lot you need to work on. Mainly execution and approaching. I'm not trying to be mean, just trying to help all of our Bangs serve Justice and Love (<3 Litchi)!

you can 5b a 623b if the enemy is floated before you hit him :/, but he isn't in that combo.
-
Hmm, I honestly think that you should go for a tech trap after most of your combos just try to get your enemy into a habit of not teching everything, then maybe we would have to start using invalid combos? Bang's mixup is too good :D Though I think it would also be a good idea to add a 214a/b/c/d after a j.623C to add more mixup possibilities.

MadTeaParty's bang is pretty hot. Different style than Dora's, but still very hot. Gotta definitely watch him too.

I wonder, would this be a combo worth the effort? 2a 5b 2b 6c j.D 2369C 623b 2363214C - 3031 damage tested on Ragna, if you start the combo with a j.4c, it's 3935 damage. the startup only gives around 12 (17 with j.4c) more heat so you could technically start it at 38.5/39 heat. Though I think you can do some interesting crossups if you don't do the 623b. If you drop it before the shuriken then they drop to the floor and you can combo into floor poke 2A into a possible tech trap? I need to do more testing. I think 3935 isn't too bad for one shuriken and starting at 33 bar. Though as I said, I need to do some more testing. I need to do a ton of testing for other 6C combos. Though does anyone know which combos are the best at heat gain without use of shurikens? I know j.4c 5a5b2b2c6d6239b gives 17 bar. But yeah, I'm now able to do the Nezu loop consistently and the damage on it is HOT. Though the only problem I found was cornering your opponent in the first place.

I shat bricks. Beautiful. Utterly beautiful

ATG, do you have to dash down from the bumper or could you do 3?
-
You have to jump cancel it. The 623B won't come out until the 6C is completely finished which takes too long and wont combo afterwards.
-
Nice finds. I knew you could do anything out of 6C if you jc it, but I never thought of doing 2363214C. Mad props. I'll definitely work on the execution for that combo. I'll have to take a look at these Furinkazan tricks for myself tomorrow.

What is the proration like on Steel Rain? It looks like it's really good and if this works then we might have a nice new 100% meter combo on our hands.
-
Toki install ftw eh? You uploading any vids of the pressure? I'm mad curious.
-
I'll write some critique as I watch both vids. Remember that when most characters are ducking 5a will whiff. 2a is probably a better starter. Don't end a blockstring with 6D. If they're blocking, 6D leaves you open for pokes. You should hit confirm before 6D. The noel player just kept on hitting low afterwards so 2369D or C probably would have worked. Or even zone yourself a bit higher. Also, you don't need to burst early in these matches. Especially since the Noel player doesn't pull of great combos. You also get caught by the overhead too much and try to poke out of her chain revolver. Just wait for a good time to get out and be patient. Noel's a tough matchup. In the 2nd video you definitely do better. I see you using more Shurikens as pressure strings and the occasional 5c. Though you could have possibly used more auto guarding with 2D teleport to mess with nu at the start of her blockstrings. It's pretty difficult to get that on reaction especially when you know she's gonna eventually follow with a 236D low hit, but you should be able to tele before it hits. You did a pretty good job of closing the gap between you and Nu.

Just a correction, it's 2369D so you can TK the nails. And only do 623C if your opponent is scared of you, meaning you know that they're gonna just block and wait. I wouldn't advise doing it the first time you use the blockstring since I know a lot of people's first reactions are to mash A out of strings. Just do 5a/2a as stated instead and you should be fine. I dunno about 5b, but you can string into it from 5a/2a. But yeah, 10stars knows what he's talking about.

oops forgot to state, it's XBL. Edited it in my post too -
ty. will edit in Use an overhead or take a chance with grab then. You need to be smart about approaching Litchi since she does have that good mid-range on you. Don't forget about your nails. C-nails tend to give you a little bit of time to dash in whether it hits or gets blocked. As for getting rushed, well there are breaks which you need to watch out for. It sucks having to block for awhile, but you need to wait for the right time, or use some barrier when it's needed. There are usually ways around nearly everything in the game. Also take a look at the matchup discussion, it helps a bit.

You need to be more aggressive. After you knock down your opponent, you need to limit their options any way possible, B/D shurikens, bumpers, j.4D crossup, grab on getup, etc. Bang isn't a character that should be relying on everything to start with counters or autoguard 2d. You need to make your opponent afraid of you. At the Gates, nice vids of Nezu... I loved the j.a j.b 5a 5b 2b 6c j.D 2369c 5d j.b j.c against Hakumen in the 2nd match. Nezu's Bang is really nice. That Rachel in the first match was pretty ridiculous.

What I do is after 6D hits. Yes, after it HITS then you input the command. I do 923B, it's the same idea as doing IAD with 96 since it's counting a an 8 and a 6 at the same time. It works for me at least

Hmm you might want to throw in a section for Seal or CH combos. Like 2d j.d 2369c j.d 2369c 5d j.b dj j.b j.c (as shown here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1N7RYrc9fQ) Also from one of the old JOYBOX videos. 5a 5b 2b j.b j.d 2b 623b j.b j.623b 5a 214214d 5b 9 b+c (video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z9kO8oS-OA) Though I need to do some testing and figure a few things out for myself.

Yeah, in most situations Steel Rain is near useless, but definitely has lulzy properties though.

We need people who can translate moonspeak. I can't translate enough of it to make a good data chart, but the Japanese wiki is a goldmine for information for this guide. http://www14.atwiki.jp/sisigamibangu/pages/1.html There is some matchup information as well as combo list, damages, etc. which is where most of the info from blazblue.co.nr come from anyway. If we can get a decent enough translation of this site, it would definitely help in this already amazing guide. Heroes ftw.
