Going to Gamecenter after work tomorrow. So far Jeff and eggs are coming. Who else?

Whether you like it or not you need people to start handling HR and administrative duties; this includes making accounts receivable, 1099 self-employed contractors, and people who will listen and solve conflict resolution. If you really say that you're a non-profit organization, then I would like to see some cash flow statements and/or someone doing accounts receivable. The very fact that nobody knows where 'NCI funds' are being spent/invested is troubling and shady.

To Santa Cruz people: Can anyone reserve the Crown/Merrill lounge (next to the Crown dining hall or in the middle of the apts) on the 24th? I wouldn't mind hanging out at UCSC for one day. Do you want me to pick you up? I work this Saturday, so I won't be able to come till late.

Plan on going to Gamecenter on Wednesday or Thursday (maybe both). Who'll be there? I would like to play Gundam and GG.

There isn't a sadlife anime FG scene in santa cruz apart from fayk, meowmix and whatever roommates you find in the dorms. I was EXTREMELY fortunate to play against some very good JP Guilty Gear players (Kennyon, Nerina and Tamaki) which led me to get competitive with FGs and start some tournaments with my hallmates at UCSC. So you may find some really good competition. There is a street fighter community in santa cruz on the srk forums. When I used to live in the dorms, SSBM was THE game to play but I don't know how things have changed. Clarification: SF4, MvC3 and T6 are on console only viewlix cabs; AH3 and BB will replace them. KOF, Gundam, D&D, Metal Slug, and Espgaluda are on coin-ops; play them whenever for casuals. tl;dr - play [VSAV].

Let's get trolled by playing gigawing, mushihime, gundam, virtual cop, d&d, puzzle fighter, sf4, 3s and metal slug. There's also a century theaters a block down B st.; I don't mind seeing a movie. tl;dr - There are casuals apart from sadlife games. It's an arcade.

Go to Gamecenter instead and do a GG/BB session there.

Take the Santa Cruz transit route 17; it should be $7-$10. Afterwards, take caltrain all the way up to San Mateo. Gamecenter is right next to the caltrain station.

GGs, bring more gear next time and we can play.

No more ikaruga at GC; the game is not a shmup anyways. it was replaced by some [terrible] helicopter game. play mushihime instead.

I suggest you go to Gamecenter arcade in San Mateo. They have BB, SF4, Gundam, Espgaluda II, Mushihime and a BYO console setup gig; there's also something like NCI happening in here on 9/3. It'll be a good opportunity for you come by and socialize.
