As for 5v5, here are my propositions: 1) Take the top 5 seeds in NorCal/SoCal based on ranbats. 2) Do another tournament on Friday. Seeding given out. 3) Do five separate brackets for each 5v5 slot. 4) Top two/three seeds get in the 5v5, while everybody else dukes it out. 5) Random select.

Okay guys! NEW UPDATE on our Ranbat status. Due to EVO, and plans for other events to come, I suggest we take a breather in the month of July. What I want to do is take this month to setup for a huge LAIKE XBOX tournament in August. You heard me, "NORCAL 'MINOR' INSTALL!" Get HYPED! IF we decide to host the minor, then it'll be at DeVry University's classroom - courtesy of GammaGearJustice. You, my good sir, saved our NorCal scene AND brought in fresh blood to the community. Thanks a bunch! I'll buy you some CHEEZBURGER! Rod, I will buy you In-n-out meal for being an awesome guy. As for Ernest and QWERTY Alex, I'll buy you a pack of MORTON SALT SHAKERS! If Ray can reserve the room for us, then here's our tentative schedule for August 7th. Alex, I'm going to be posting your PM. Everyone here has a right to know what's happening.

Rin, you just hit the same road block I did when I was playing CT. Anybody can practice taunt loop and anyone can mash execution. But not everybody can self-criticize and reassess what they're doing wrong. Daigo was asked the following question, "What do you recommend players to do to level up their game?" His response, "Think about what you do wrong and fix it." If execution is your weakness, then don't commit to harder combos. You can learn all that a year down the road. So focus on your spacing, wittier mixups, stronger tech traps, and maximize your pokes. Everything else will fall in place. Edit: Oh yeah, I might just come down to do some 2v2...unless I decide to go to the MGL console tournament. I've been meaning to get acquainted with Haunts for quite some time.

btw, what's the ETA on Thursday/Friday? :3
