  1. Someone want to PM me rods address?
  2. After console release, we're hoping to start a huge NorCal minor tournament with BB.
  3. There'll be a decent turnout. I'm projecting that there's going to be 15 people coming. I might just come by to mash a little EFZ, BBCS, GGAC and some Shaq Fu. :3
  4. I vouch to keep the 2v2 and singles. Consistency is more important than flaking out on people b/c of a small turnout. In any case, Fanimoo is coming up faster than me completing my grad apps. @_@ Hope things will work out.
  5. Are you in Cali? If so, then you should join our ranbats. :3

  6. Somebody help the poor cat out!
  7. A big shout to ROD for getting this SHIZZLE together! It is a bit of a drive for most of us here, but thanks for putting it out. Oh yeah Rod. Quickie question - Where was that bomb kareoke place you took JP Kennyon and I out? PNW is mighty interested... Also, will your home be big enough to squeeze in the Tekken/GGAC/MBAA crew? That's about 40 people. D:
  8. I would suggest we make June the season finale for our BBCS 2v2 teams n' singles at SVGL. July is EVO, so we're not going to host any tournaments. Also, I suggest we reset the standings after console release. Hopefully, in August, we'll combine NorCal INSTALL with the BBCS 2v2 teams/ranbats to make it one HUGE LAIKE XBOX tournament.
  9. According to MWC, In-N-Out is top tier.
  10. The kareoke place that has UWASHOCK, Marisa stole a precious thing, and Gacha Gacha KYU~ is somewhere in San Francisco. It's a place off of 19th street before the Golden Gate bridge. San Francisco is an hour and a half away north from Sunnyvale, but I recommend you do a quick visit. I know of a few Chinese vegetarian restaurants near SVGL. Also, In-N-Out sells grilled cheese burgers. :3
  11. Nobody likes Bang and nobody likes Dacid. :3
  12. Rod knows where all the good kareoke spots are at. ROD, WHERE CAN WE SING THAT U WA SHOCK AND MARISSA STOLE THE PRECIOUS THING?!
  13. Or you can just air throw Ara before he air throws you.
  14. The SF4 Standard Edition sticks are subpar, but replacing the buttons and stick isn't expensive. If you ask for my humble opinion, I would've recommended you go with a HRAP or TE. I recommend you work on your muscle memory. The taunt loop timing is different for each character, so it's imperative you start nailing execution. If you don't have that, then you'll need to think of other ways to bring out your potential damage. Execution has always been my - greatest - weakness in any fighting game. I would suggest you find out what you're best at and polish it while fortifying your weaknesses. If you want my personal opinion, then I think you have a decent understanding of Tao's mobility. But you're forming a terrible habit where you're mashing the buttons to hit confirm and, I dare say, that is one of your weaknesses.
  15. Hey I know everything inside the secret menu front-and-back. I could give you the inside scoop of fry wells, mustard fried, whole grill onions and that chop chilies. The burger combo may look bland, but I can do a surprise super with some banana peppers inside that double double animal style. Oh and I can dice those fries faster than you can mash 5a. It helps me win tourneys ;o Who are youuu?! :3
  16. What tourney? I don't go to tournaments.
  17. It's okay. Dacidbro eats that 6c like no tomorrow. :3
  18. Ditch class. Join the brigade. Eat tofu. Drive to NorCal.
  19. Incredible planning. Hope to see you all!
  20. Thanks for showing up peops. Even though I came in late, I feel that we're learning a lot about T.O.. So even though we're getting ready to hit it big, I have a concern. The first week of June is the month of finals for students on the quarter system. If we hold a tournament, then we will - most likely - not be able to go to any university/campus. Therefore, I have a few propositions: 1) Take a two month break and prep up for a HUGE August ranbat. 2) Find a venue that's willing to host numerous setups (venue must allocate, at least, 40 people). We can go to a university or a campus facility, but we have to assume that peops are prepping up for finals. 3) Split our ranbat into bi-weeklies. Thus, Rod's home would be our next venture. IF we hold a bi-weekly session, then we have to take out ST and Tekken. We do not have the capacity to support multiple communities. 4) Stop ranbats until the next school year. 5) Go to Hayward. So unless you guys step it up and find us more venues, we will - more than likely - go to Hayward. That car repair place was a pretty legit venue, but a tad bit small. Since we are going to be hosting Tekken in the roster, I want to know if those guys are okay with a 40+ turnout. If so, then can we get extension cords and extra tables to place setups outside the room? Who can be our spokesperson?
  21. As usual, I'll be late. :3 According to Danny, I'm a liar who - somehow - manages to flake out whenever I say I am not going to an event.
  22. I'll see if I can get anyone from NorCal to get some hotels. I can't make any guarantees, but we'll see. I also have work, so I can't stay in the hotel for the entire con. If there's a dire need, then I'll get a hotel to split with other people. The only time I reserved a hotel was to help the JP crew find a place to crash for the night. Yes. :3
