Well if that's all it means, I guess it just proves what I've been saying about how no one in the area likes fighting games. So, there's no way to 'improve' your ping, or anything?

And what kind of ping am I supposed to have exactly? I don't even know how to figure out what my own ping is.

Sure, if you can connect to me. I haven't been able to connect to anyone since Watt, everyone else is over ping, or busy, or no response. Can't watch games either. Don't get it...

Yep, same name. Just played a few against Watt, and managed to win several. Ran better than I expected it to. Not perfect, but not bad either. [edit] also, is a lot of the text supposed to come as gibberish, because a lot of the text is coming up as gibberish.

I swear I read the first post, but somehow glossed over the shortcut bit. Thanks. ALRIGHT, it's showing up now, and I figured out how to make the antivirus not be stupid, so it should work now. However, the combination of how bad I am, how bad my controller is, and how awkward playing #REload again is makes me less than eager to find out right this instant. I'll lose horribly in a few hours...

Uhh, I don't know what that means. For what it's worth, I tried uninstalling AVG to see if that would make it work. When I tried starting the game up without AVG, I got that windows anti-virus "Do you want to allow this program to access the internet" option, but when the game started up there was still no network mode, or whatever it is I'm supposed to be seeing.

And I thought bemani controllers were expensive, geeze. It looks like unless I luck out on eBay the best I'm going to be able to do is a fight stick. Is there some reason why the PS3 one costs twice as much as the Wii one?...

Isn't Hori EX 360 only? I just searched for it in 3 separate places, and every result was 360.

Ah. Well, it's pretty unlikely I'll play that much, what with the no friends that like fighting games. I don't know if it's the whole region, or just the town I live in, but almost nobody likes the same games I do. And these things http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-zl-77-1-49-en-15-hori-70-1o24.html are supposed to be decent, but have soldered buttons that can't be replaced? Or did I misunderstand that when I read it somewhere at some point, but I don't remember when or where. And there's nothing like that that also works on GCN / Wii (aside from the one made for Wii, obviously...)?

Just got to 680 (I think? Gold Baiken) with Eddie in AC+. The computer shouldn't be allowed to have super powers, they already cheat enough as it is. In AC the game says the best I've done is 295 with Zappa, but that sounds too low. I'm almost 100% positive I got to the second Gold Opponent...but I guess I didn't. In #REload I must've lost to Black Robo-Ky three times, which is a lot because I couldn't have played Survival more than 10 times.

I can't bring myself to read this entire topic, and the Joystick Recommendation link doesn't go anywhere, so... I want to get a stick for BlazBlue PS3. I don't suppose there exists a stick that can be used on both the PS3, and Wii or GCN? Being able to also play GG on a stick would be pretty cool... And from what I've skimmed, I'm seeing people saying sticks break easily. Is that only if you play like a crazy person? I don't want to spend $100+ on something that's going to break from normal play.

I tried that. The game runs just fine, but it doesn't show any sign of being online play enabled.

Oh my god, it's true. No Hina-ichigo though and she's my favorite. I like pretty much all of her colors in AC, aside from the teal one, and the yellow one. I guess my favorites would be the white and blue REload ones, and the black and red EX (which was also in REload).

I don't really understand what I'm doing wrong. I'm not entirely sure what the patch you're supposed to run is. Is it that .exe that brings up the color edit, and all that other stuff? When I unzipped that into my GGXX#R folder it didn't appear to change anything.
