  1. Haha, was looking at the wrong month. Ok, that aside, has that actually been stated anywhere officially. It's bad timing for me, but I'd really like to support the release even though I spent $90 importing it...
  2. I still have yet to see a negative opinion of the game from someone who has actually played it. Makes me curious about what Famitsu's problem with it was...oh wait, professional reviewers, I'm not curious at all. Does it actually come out next month? I haven't seen that anywhere aside from some random post on GameFAQs where some guy said it was coming out Apirl 5th, which isn't even a Tuesday.
  3. Ooh, that's a lot more than I remember. I'm getting back to this game when it comes out in America, and there will be people online that I can beat for a couple days. Really, I mean it....
  4. Not sure when it happened, but I don't see it mentioned anywhere, so I'll mention it. Eight on the Break converted their BB to SSFIVAE.
  5. Regardless of what the reason was for not allowing AH3 on the Xbox in the US, you know the 'lol arcana heart pervy doujin fighting game, i've never played it, but it is obviously bad' people are going to assume that's the reason.
  6. Really? This is just more bad press for a game that isn't anywhere near as inappropriate as everyone who hasn't played it thinks it is...
  7. I don't recall anything in the gallery that was particularly offensive outside of the scope of the game already being offensive to some people to begin with...and really, who cares, the gallery is nothing special and the pictures are all online I'm sure, and they're not very good anyway.
  8. I essentially said "Melty Blood didn't seem very deep, but I'm perfectly willing to give it another chance if they ever put out another home version.". That doesn't seem like a very unreasonable thing to say, and yet you people are getting competitive Brawl levels of defensive about it. What am I supposed to think about that. And no, I wasn't mashing buttons, I was spamming special moves that I knew because memorizing them takes like 5 minutes, why is that so hard for you to understand. I already said I was terrible at the game, I don't get what you're trying to prove by insisting that I was worse than the very bad I am already claiming to be.
  9. This just in, impossible to have opinion on game you haven't mastered. I'm pretty sure I explicitly stated that my opinion wasn't definitive, but I definitely spent at least 25 hours on the game, and I don't look back on it as time spent playing something that was particularly deep. (as opposed to the similarly short amount of time I spent playing Virtua Fighter 4) I may have been terrible at it, but how do you get 'mashing buttons' out of 'special spamming', they are entirely different kinds of scrub level play. I could do ABC combos, c'mon.
  10. I haven't actually played Melty since I played BB (the first fighter that I made any effort to be better than a special move spammer at), but I dunno, I'm remembering it as basically Arcana Heart without all the interesting stuff. Maybe I'm wrong, if they ever feel like putting out a console version I'll pick it up for sure. I'd give them a 2/10 at best. Tsukihime means something to me.
  11. Maybe this one will get a console release!....
  12. I thought the only reason anybody particularly liked Melty Blood was because it was based on Tsukihime. I mean, it's alright...
  13. I'm using Tone with Weiss, even though it's not a popular choice, and I am terrible with her. It seems pretty good though, I don't think the arcana is what's holding me back. I like that if you're smart about when you set the...tone...things, you can make the opponent afraid of certain parts of the screen; and if you get the opponents down to very little health, it gives an awkward zoning tool that isn't very good, but is better than nothing in a high pressure situation. I use Halo with Maori because it gives her more crap to throw at the opponent, and is more entertaining than Love or Thunder.
  14. Is there an option to e-mail them somewhere? All I'm seeing is a phone number, and I kind of don't want to have to call people that might not speak English very well, and try to give them my very long e-mail address... [edit] nm, found it
  15. Uhh, did anybody order this off yesasia. Because I ordered it last night, but I never got an e-mail, and there's no paypal record of it, and the item is still in my cart. It's not like I'm new to ordering stuff offline, but I can't say this has ever happened. Don't paypal records show up like, right away? I don't want to risk accidentally ordering a second copy...
  16. Broke down and ordered this against all reason. If only I had wasted more money at magfest. Curse you, free arcade games.
  17. I was kind of hoping that someone somewhere at MAGfest would have AH3 (I saw 2 for sale at one of the stands, lol, and some people were playing 1 at one point...) but it was clearly not a con for people who like fighting games with air dashing. So when is this getting localized so I can stop considering importing it with MvC3 right around the corner.
  18. Wasted compared to Zangief? Go home. Haggar's waited a long, long time for this.
  19. Pretty much. If the next game sucks, I hope it at least has an improved Create-a-character that doesn't force you to play a really tedious single player mode to unlock parts.
  20. I downloaded the game, but couldn't figure out how to get an arcade stick to work so I never played it.
  21. No Pretty Sammy or Sailor Moon palettes? C'mon, where's the real magical girl anime, I continue to be disappointed in the people that make alternate colors for Platinum. The CCS one is pretty great though.
  22. I'd speculate that we'll get it, but not until a few months after because of Marvel vs Capcom 3.
  23. No, the ratios impact gameplay.
  24. Excuse me for not keeping tabs on every change, and which ones were actually true. Do we know for sure if that actually works? Using 2C like that seems wonky. I'd have to see if in action, I think. Either way, j.2C combos were a lot of fun to do.
