I believe he is referring to the fact that jumps have the least amount of frames to pull off and you can basically hold 7/9 while being jabbed, and jump out of it. Same goes for throws which I believe have even longer startup.

ATTENTION MASSES AND ARC SYSTEM WORKS: cease all patch talk and patch coding. This game is obviously balanced because this random guy on the internet said so. Things like 5 frame jumps vs 9 frame jabs are acceptable play or the fact that Tager or Hakumen really can't do well against the top tier are fine. This game should remain as is forever, in fact don't add any new characters either because that will of course nerf/buff the current characters and destroy this integral balance that we have achieved.

I made a blood sacrifice to the Almighty Cthulu who made it rain blood for 7 days and nights, which I collected into an unholy dish and drank for sustenance. Afterwards I was recuired to kill no less then 50 cute, cuddly kittens and harvest their flesh as a writing surface. Finally a giant lightning storm appeared and struck my unholy altar and spelt out the name "NOEL". Lol jk, I orginally picked litchi because she seemed like a fun character to use. Plus I like staves. Unfortuantly she didn't click but while playing around with random while fighting my friend, I came across Noel and she was alot more fun to play. I also enjoy playing as Tager, so there you have it.

Yeah its pretty much the best dp in the game. I usually bait it out then attack afterwards, cause its tough to punish that thing.

Well if the person is Spamming D, then there is no real pattern or coherent strategy there. Most of the time you can IAD through the swords. Now if the V-13 is COMBOING the D swords, then you gotta keep blocking and look for an opening to approach (most likely the ground is your best option) edit: lol I'm at work when I post here, don't always have time to proofread XD

I tried to be defensive against him but I still have trouble against him. His range is far superior with that sword. The only thing going for me seems to be the startup frames from all his C attacks, but that coupled with the range means that when I try to close the distance, I get beat out.

I seem to be going up against Hackumen that throw their C attacks around and when he throws his C attacks around, that sword can cover alot of space and I find it hard to get in on him. His j.C always seems to beat me out no matter what jump attack I use. The only thing going for me is that I haven't ran into any Hakumen that know how to do combos with him.

I can definately see some scrub saying that you are cheating after doing something like that. Definately working on that!!!!

Please do. I'm sure eventually it'll get to the point where I recognize everything Noel can do (Like all the other mains listed in my sig except litchi) but it would be easier to learn right now if I saw the strings.

Nice vid, to bad it doesn't have the combo strings that they are doing. I mean I guess I can just watch the vid over and over again and test her various moves till I duplicate it...
