Falling j.c 5c gravity 5c after all of that sounds impossible after that pickup. Is 5c gravity 5c good because it can be done midscreen?

I'm not going to give it much training because I'm trying not to get too into the game, I just want to get a basic hold of Tao in case I play during tournaments/casuals. My main job is recording :P I can get it fine with a pad, its just the amount of movement that fast on a bigger stick means more effort physically, and my hands are shot lol. I think Makoto training wont help so much anyways, because its more of a dash and button press isn't it? Not so dash direction dash direction intensive. I mean, you gotta admit, the D and A part of the Tao loop is pretty braindead. Also, I ALWAYS get 4 reps, automatically almost every time. 90% of the time I dash the initial hitconfirm (j.c land dash 5b, mixup 2d~b j.c dash 5b etc..) So i guess its not worth it :/

Since CS1 was more of a button sequence and timing, the stick joystick was pretty comfortable. But in CS2... I haven't gotten that mad at missed inputs with a stick in a long time. To do 66 8 66 8 66 8 66 8 has never been so painful to do for me. 214 2 ... 214 2 ... was so much more relaxing.. Seems like people have their preferences though. I say try both, and see which you like better honestly

Got word from Tournament Legacy that Toshimitchi Mori, and possibly Daisuke Ishiwatari is attending Revelations. It seems like that happens when you do 236cc point blank, sometimes even in the corner. I've just given up on 236cc -> 5d combos all together unless its 3c -> 236c in the corner or some random opportune 236cc overhead :/ The backthrow combo above is a good example of that. It'll do it with 5d~c too i tested it, its pretty irritating.

I dunno, I haven't been doing so hot with CS2 Lamb either. But she's fun as hell to mess around in training mode, and thats what this thread is about isn't it guys? Huh, I guess I just use bnb like you said then. Honestly though, Tao's combos dont seem too customizable without majorly dropping damage. Time to hit training mode

Yo does someone have a picture of the brackets/remember what it looked like?

So.. I'm trying to figure out damage wise what is the best BnB to practice 100% so I can maximize damage in any situation. Trying to figure out what the best damage is for MIDSCREEN backthrows, with 50 meter for more damage than the typical 5b 5c j.d8~a loop. I tried some weird combo, but its so impractical and inconsistent to hit its not worth it at all- 4B+C -> RC - 2[C] -> 236CC -> 5d~a -> (Dash opposite direction, opponent goes backwards) 66 -> 5c -> j.d8~a loop x 2 -> 2d~c -> 9d~5 -> 5d~6 -> j.c -> 9d~9 -> 3d~6 -> 236bbbbb For something "forced" fatal AND 50 meter, it does like a measly 3500 or so.. wtf

Okay so when you're doing the loop midscreen, do you have to dash EVERY time between j.8d~a's, or can you kinda cheat and dash the first one and get SEVERAL extra loops in. To have to dash EVERY one just makes the whole combo more droppable, for as you guys said, very little extra damage.
