That combo actually doesn't make sense at all considering how you can't dash immediately after the second 236P without a RC (which is not mentioned in the combo by the way) unless you run after the opponent hits the ground and then do a 214D for a otg hit. =/ Plus I think there are some better jump install options for Zappa's sword.

Pot always had 6H but it never comboed into slide head until AC. I'm not sure what to tell you. ABA was always horrible against Potemkin due to his numerous knockdown capabilities. Sounds like they're even better now. You have to contol the match and keep pressure on Pot. Its the only way. If you give him some breathing space then eventually ABA won't be breathing at all. If anything I would suggest perfecting your pressure game.

I understand how you feel. Its just that ever since 's 2HS with the sword became jump cancelable it became his strongest summon (besides Raoh of course). The JI combos you can do after a counter hit can cripple your opponent. That's why I love the sword so much. :grin:

Hey Raph_ or Zinac what are the properties of Faust's new tub item. I can't see what's so special about it besides looking painful when it hits. I don't know if its me but the time in which it comes down from the sky doesn't seem consistent.

Alright AC frame data and character changes are up. All we need now is for them to be translated and we can figure out what and our other favorite characters can really do.

The dog like Raoh intimidates people. Use it to your advantage!!! I always practice different combos with the dog. And they are more than just corner combos. Try mid screen combos and pressures as well. You'll need to be smart with the dog when you don't have the luxury of having your opponent on lockdown in the corner.

The dog has the highest learning curve but in Reload it was considered his best summon besides Raoh. The dog is still probably in the top two poistions. It by no means is his worst. My dog has gotten considerably better. I don't know what my worst summon is now. I love and practice all of them (except when I have the sword against Axl T_T). And yes the dogs combo's are sexier than ever now, not to mention the set ups it provides. At least the dog's 2D causes an untechable knockdown.

I like Zappa's new dog strategy when getting the opponent in the corner. Basically its go into the knockdown with 2D then go for the D, 4D unblockable and continue your rapeage from there.... :grin:

Well you already perhaps remember that testament, after being hit by pogo in the corner, can be hit by the flower twice then you can combo into GMW. Also I think after pogo: flower+face punch+GMW is a combo. I'll be at FRX too but I plan on checking out Zappa in AC aswell. This whole AC thing at FRX kind of pisses me off because I know no one will have time to play their character more than a few times because I'm sure the line for it is going to be huge!!!

So I was checking out a new jump install combo with Zappa's sword in the "Butterfly" video and I can't tell if its as strong as Zappa's current ji combo. The video shows it being done to Johnny. Either way it looks cooler.

Eddie, atleast since Slash, had gaps in his pressures which why you would often see good eddie players have lil eddie attacking on the ground while regular eddie is jumping up and down spamming j.K Just to simply reduce the chances of players jumping out.

^Agreed. I even think that the dog is bad against Axl because so much of Axl's long range attacks hit twice or more.

Yeah. Axl is a pain because you can never get to him. You saw how helpless Zappa was when he had the sword.

So far the gamechariot Zappa players that I've liked are Ken, Tomoi, and Abe.

Yeah I've seen it. I know there are vids out there just not to the volume of other characters like say Eddie and Order Sol but of course those two would make sense ha.

Well the thing about is that he's very situational as you can imagine. In terms of matchups, its not as much about Zappa vs. <insert character here> but more of ghosts/dog/sword/roah vs. <insert character here>. Each of his summons are better than others depending on what character he fights. A good example would be how screwed Zappa can be sometimes when he has the sword against 's long range crap. In the Sol video it can be determined that Zappa's dog is pretty decent verse even if your stategy involves sacrificing the dog inorder to get inside. But then there are the overall bad matchups for Zappa. so meh... Of course whether you have the appropriate summon or not, you're stuck with what you have so you have to make the best of it.
