Could someone perhaps upload the "Butterfly" video to youtube or something? Like I mentioned a few pages back, my computer cannot watch combo videos without screwing up. I mean seriously what makes a combo video different from a regular match video?

Unfortunately its because Zappa's 2D, 6HS was considered a loop. It stinks I know. I'd be nice if there was some sort of knock down that Zappa gained to compensate for the loss. Oh and Ukyo the final version of slash does have Zappa's sword being able to combo after 5HS. :grin: Also I read somewhere that his 5D is around two frames longer now. So its not as fast. :blue:

I don't know about that. Zappa could always chain his 2D into his specials. But than again he is the only character that can chain his 5D into specials.

You guys probably already realized this but I noticed that puddle of Zappa's f.s doesn't need a counter hit to cause a stagger. As soon as the spit hits the round all the opponent has to do is step on it. I'm even more happier now. This is Zappa's only good poke. And Tiamat I don't see why it wouldn't count as an overhead.

That's assuming you get sword after you recover. Remember Zappa loses his summon when he gets hit. He may get the sword back automatically.... or maybe not.

Yeah and now that the puddle hits low, its even more of threat. I catches so many people off guard. I don't think you can move forward and then block so its kind of unblockable in a sense. Maybe not lol.

Yeah the spit move has some weird properties now. But these new properties are for the good.

I just realized that the the new jHS property just killed Raoh's standard Dust combo: 5D, jhs, jhs, jhs, jhs, jhs. But then again he has better impossible dust combo's that do way more damage. Also Dangief that use of P/K darkness anthem to pick the opponent back up sounds pretty interesting, but it depends because that move takes a while to start and to recover from once executed.

That was perhaps the best Robo-Ky match ever!!!!!! 100 Hits exactly with with 4 moves. Dang!!! and the first round, don't even get me started.

The purpose of a force break depends on the character. For some characters it helps with combo. For Zappa, his Force break can potentially lead to 4 orbs. You can combo into it. I haven't seen a combo with it but I head that there is one and most likely more. Like mentioned earlier its fast and appears to hit over head. Quite frankly you don't need to combo into it. If you got a good block string going on the opponent will most likely be blocking low anyways. I would then just do the force break.

Despite all of these really, really nice buffs that Zappa's getting, taking away Zappa's knockdown ability from 6HS is huge to me. Thats a bigger nerf for the dog than simply nerfing the dog itself. And the dog was looking so good. Maybe just maybe the dog's 2D is untechable. I haven't seen any definite proof yet. but yeah f.S is looking very abusable right now. That things range is a mile long!!! Edit: Nevermind. The dog's 2D is techable. Oh well, I guess were' gonna have to learn how to tech throw the dogs 2D in the corner. Also I think it should be mentioned that it seems that Raoh's 5HS causes a techable knockdown preventing you from successfully linking it with 632146S.

Zerite for a correction on Raoh: He still has his S version of darkness anthem. The other two angles were additions, not replacements. :grin:

Well after watching Zappa vs Chipp, Zappa's 6Hs is still untechable on counter hit. Completely defeats the purpose though since its suppose to be used in the dog's combos. On a good note I actually see Zappa's force break as more applicable since it does appear to be an overhead. Its incredibly fast. I guess you could simply pull of a low hitting block string then just pull the move out and whack'em on top of the head since they'll most likely still be blocking low. =} As for Raoh I'm sure there's still a loop. Its probably harder because you have to do some stuff to pick the opponent back up. Maybe Raoh's 6HS can chain after a move now. Hopefully.....

Well remember that order-sol is predicted to be one of the God characters. Atleast Zappa isn't predicted to be one of the crap characters this time around. By the way the combo/block string: 2P,2K,5S,6P. I witnessed how long the delay was its short enough for you be able to attack with it before this combo ends. =) Anyways I was looking at the Zappa vs Johnny video from the popeye website and Johnny teched out of Zappa's chest attack (6HS). That's not good at all.

Good to hear from some first hand experience though. I will just need to sit around in training mode once this game comes out to see how things are. Like some of us mentioned earlier Zappa's improvements don't seem very game breaking. Edit: Looking at some more video's I'd have to say that Zappa still looks pretty solid. The new 63214HS properties make Zappa's sword godly damage wise. The follow up combo was always strong to begin with. I wish I could watch the combo vid to see how his new sword move can be incorporated not to mention the 7orb combo. As for the ghosts, the new throw looks solid as you mentioned. But still, you say that there's a possibilities that ghosts do less damage? I got used to the slash damage but if what you're saying is actually true well then..... :blue: They still look fun though. The dog still looks pretty hot. I noticed the extra stall the dog gets when it attacks twice (it shakes and growls. Kind of cute actually :grin: ), but I already know combo's/block strings that will give more than enough time for the dog too get back on the offensive so I'm not to scared. Roah: As long a he can still do easy damage, then he's alright with me. I like the new orb angle variations he has. It kinda messes with ya.

Okay so once again for some reason combo videos keep on acting up on my computer. And ONLY combo videos. I don't get it, regular match videos work fine. As for my recent case the combo video that Kai just hosted doesn't play well. While the audio portion of the video works fine the visual part o the video will work for a few seconds then freeze forever and then it may catchup with the audio but then will freeze again while the sounds continure to play. What programs are you guys using to watch it?
