Really? Crap >.< But then again you tech if you get hit by Bursts in AC (or could you already do that in slash?). Well she's still good none the less.

Hey none of those places, even http://www.newwavemugen.com/~ggslash/, seem to have a pic of ABA's official close up picture. You know the one where only the head of the character is drawn. Can somebody plese post that. Particularly a picture where there are NO bars around her like you would see in the 7 sec character vs. character intro. -
Well for one thing even without a counter hit j.HS still knocks the opponent downward (this was not the case in Slash). So if you are air comboing on your opponent low enough to the ground you can end with j.HS for a knockdown (although no slide property will occur). If you are too high the opponent can tech out of it before hitting the ground.

236P, like any decent wakeup move, should only be used occasionally. You can throw it out but use it rarily. Its not like Volcanic Viper or Vaper Thrust where you're always guranteed to be able to do it. If bad luck strikes, you'll attempt to 236P but end up waking with a summon then all that comes out is a 6P.

I have no idea about ABA's FB and how it handles unblockables. Zappa's sword was decent against ABA in slash (and AC as well). It could go poke-to-poke with ABA's key. Range wise, it could match ABA as well. the ghosts weren't bad either. If you can jHS bomb raid enough you can get her back into normal mode rather quickly. She becomes a problem when she unleashes her crazy corner pressures. At that close range, she'll beat most of the stuff that Zappa has.

The dogs bite is untechable as long as the opponent is on the ground I believe. If 2D hits just as the oppnent jumps or something then they'll be able to tech out of it. That's what I've seen in videos. The stagger property only occurs once the puddle from the spit has formed. It doesnt require a counter hit. the idea is to have the opponent wake up as the puddle forms. Then they end up slipping on it on wake-up.

-_- I'm sensing a little hostility. I'm sorry geez. It was just a question. Honestly while I was typing that I was thinking about ABA and he Key chain OTG thing. I was thinking that maybe it had the same properties that I was talking about, so I wasn't thinking of just Raoh. You could've been a bit nicer with you explaination.

I do have one question. Can we really say that the Darkness Anthem has OTG properties? Isn't it really Raoh's 6HS and 5HS that have the ground slide properties (event though 5HS's doesn't seem to be appearant) that would allow almost any move to pick the opponent back up? Or am I missing the picture? POscrub I understand that you're looking for people, and I know I've been silent but I wanna help out. I just couldn't live with my self if I volunteered earlier and never got to anything because of design school work. But school will be over next week. I can go over the notes once they're translated. If nobody inserts them then I'll do that too.

No going by the video it was definitely a 5HS. Besides 6HS launches by iteself. It doesn't cause a knockdown.

Its pissing me off. I need more Zappa and Faust and all I'm getting 1 Faust or 2 every three video posts and no Zappa's for 3 weeks. But there can never be enough Eddie, Testament, and Hos players. If the players are good then fine, but if they never even touched that character until now, then meh... =/

1. You input the command for the second hit after the first hit I believe. And yes, if you do two attacks the dog will land and then shake for around half a second before being able to attack again. 2. That block string is fine. I wouldn't go any higher than that in-terms of # of attacks when your opponent is in the corner so you can stay on top of your opponent and not worry about block push back. There are dog strats in the Zappa Slash thread. 3. Yeah you still can. Quite frankly 2S->5HS->super is a fine combo. Your opponent is in the corner you can continue the combo with 6HS followed by more attacks. 4. Raoh's j.HS: Causes ground bounce. Simply put, this is officially Raoh's sexiest move. Any combos that involve this move are automatically dubbed "sexy." This move gives Raoh a full screen loop: 214S->66->jHS->land 66->js->jHS->land 214S. However unless you RC the second Last Edgy, this combo still doesn't beat 214S(RC)->214(RC)->214S->214S in-terms of damage. Of course this combo only works if you have full tension. This makes the first combo I posted an excellent substitute if you don't have extra tension or just want to conserve. I do believe you can incorporate jHS in Raoh's corner loop but I haven't seen that happen yet. I have seen however this corner combo: 214S(RC)->jHS->214S

So I would guess that instead of the dog, the ghosts got nerfed this time around. =/ I guess the p ghost must really do a good job for compensating. As for the sword's wall bounces combo, unless its a counter hit, I guess FRCing is your best bet.

usually for a good attack/block sting, I would do 2p,2k,c.5s,6p,f.5S or 2p,2k,c.5s,2hs,2k. Last parts may not combo but they definitely keep the pressure on so that the opponent can't do much at all.

That would be hilarious if it were true. If that were true I would rather see Zappa's Raoh use a sword during Bellow's Malice or instead see Hnk Raoh use a hammer as one of his attacks. But hey they both have a cape as well as own anybody who dares challenge them. :grin: But at this point its only speculation,

Wow that K ghost thing sucks. But then again the P ghost can hit below you instead. You can try to go for that although its not as quick. As for the new 4DD, I'm really looking forward to that. It will make Zappa's unblockable setup more abusable. :bad:
