  1. Yea I was playing some ranked replays on my stream. A player used it instead of jC. It seems a lot easier to connect from in my tests with it in corner combos. http://www.twitch.tv/kurushii/b/303644171 (fast forward to 1 hour and 24 minutes to see the three replays)

  7. Tried it out. Only on hit not whiff can he do the 236A cancel. Also Ignis's specials sadly can't be canceled with 236A. Also you can't cancel the 236A into backdash, you have to let the animation go to the end. Thanks for the info on the normal cancel though.
  8. Basically Romey. Just have to get something with enough block stun that you can cancel into the yoyo without getting punished on the startup animation when it puts Relius into the Ignis summoning stance.

  12. Bolding bnb's or the most optimal meter to damage ratio ones will be a nice addition later after it fills up. I think situation should always be first though. If someone is looking up combos they are going to go straight towards the one for the situation they need help with. Atleast that's how I always viewed it.
  13. Nah I agree 5A and Dusk. If possible seperate those up with Ignis startup req or not. Yea. Something like: -Situation (Ground-to-Ground, Air-to-Ground, AA, exc) --Starter input ---Screen Position ----Ignis Active Start -----Ignis Cost -----Damage ----Ignis Inactive Start -----Ignis Cost -----Damage
  14. Yea I know of 2D uses. I showed off the mixup and crossup tricks with it on my stream before. Sadly it's a lot of meter cost when you can use 6D to do the same effect in most strings for less cost. So trying to tone down the use of it. I haven't tried 236A>44 yet ill have to check that out. Sadly that twirl isnt invul at start so it can be punished. :/
  15. Meter gained back during a combo will be a toughie for calculation. I need to look up the formula on it. It's like After Inactive>Wait X Seconds>Start Regeration at X meter given per second. I know the tutorial vid showed it in it's on screen description in Japanese.
  16. Yep, I was playing around with that one the other night. 5C(2)~236D>j.C> The yoyo is up to a 8 hit low that pulls in. Only thing is you really have to cover it with sometime as it has a huge startup.
  17. Yea I realized that the first hour of playing him that his meter management is key. I treat him like Haku, first goal is finding what's the best use of meter. I haven't been touching jA much after I found out it isn't a OH. Ill have to try that trap out Romey. :3
  18. I feel ya. Also on your AirBnB's with jB>jC>jB>jC you can put a j8D between it making it jB>jC>j8D>jB>jC. Course it's extra cost.
  19. Yea haven't gone looking for Fuzzy guard or meter building combos yet. Unblockables are known. I also have some pseudo-unblockable setups. The major gripe of Relius is that his Primer Breaking block strings are horrible, and without Ignis active his mixup options are ugh.
  20. @Critical Edge, I could of swore you were watching my stream the other night when I was doing some of those 2C Fatal combos. You can add more damage to it with a IAD jB>jC after the 214C. Also can we PLEASE make it a standard for everyone to post Ignis cost values on their combos. If your combo can start active or inactive with Ignis then list both. I have provided the values so should not be a issue with people.

  22. Ignis's mixup options and full screen tools. Every time I hop into training mode to try a idea I end up getting even more crazier ideas in my head for possible setups and combos with her tools. Way back in the day I loved to play Itachi in NarutoGNT4. A lot of the tools for Ignis seem like exact copies of what Itachi had in that game with his clones. I love characters with long range tools but still have a great close range feel to them that isn't stiff. Which is why I love playing Platinum too. Her items for a variety of tools at different ranges with a great rushdown. :3
