  6. Actually 4 modes in it. Not 3. You unlock the 1-Unlimited Mode after you beat 1-999. Character specific items can also be earned as random rewards from depths 1k+. The drop rate of better stuff is no different between 700-999 and 1k-4k range. You are best off repeating 1-999 for the all item trophy. All enemies in 1k+ are 40-45 ranked stats. I never saw it hit the cap for the CPU (which is 50). Around 30 Speed you can quad jump/airdash. CPU AI Down makes the later depths much easier for people just trying to grind out getting all the items. I got lucky and recieved Unlock Unlimited as my 999 depth reward on my first try which made doing the rest very easy as I could just do Instant Kill combos with U.Mu :3

  10. The game looks fun. It's fanbase is going to hurt it for getting the wrong attention in the competitive scene. It's BB but even more ANIME. The online community for the game just reaks of immaturity and fangirls. Shoutouts to MayonakaMidnight for trying to shutdown BB uploaders from uploading P4U content. BBCSEX and MBAACC staying on my list for half the year.
  11. It's always the same when a shiny, new character comes out. People will flock to them cause of looks, combat style, or lolstorymode but drop them within the first month or less because the character either doesn't fit their playstyle or is too difficult for them to grasp. Can't really diss NA/EU as it happens everywhere. Even in Japan the numbers aren't that great for Relius players atm. That's the main reason I started recording more ranked replays to give more views of matchups. If we get a lot of NA/EU players that stick to Relius then great. They are all welcomed to contribute what new stuff they discover. If not many stick to him in the long run fine. It wont be the first character in a fg to not get much attention.

  14. Honestly im not surprissed if it was canceled. I think it had the worst timing for a global tournament. Aksys was trying to back it up but why support something when the quals were like right next to the NA release date of their product. Only Arcade players and people that imported would of had the experience for the quals. Not the people buying the product through them. it's not like ASW is rolling out a update any time soon to arcade so imo they should do quals in late spring and host the main event in the summer. I guess we will see what happens. P.S omg it's a Fubar! :o
  15. I just spent $100 on the new MLG Madcatz pad... I don't buy many games each year either as I stick within specific genres and have tastes to only certain things within those. :X
  16. From the experience I have so far i'd say Tao and Valk are the worst in that list for him. Their mobility really hurts Relius. I can't really say too much more than that as I haven't played any EC players who main those characters yet.

  19. Ok I tested the hell out of the drive gauge. When Ignis is active the pink bar is 100 pixels wide. So 100 energy per pixel which would make her be 10,000 energy total. All good so far.. Consumption over time looks to be ~60 a second. After screencaping the different moves I came to notice about half of them have a extra two pixels of a darker pink. No matter how many times I tried to capture it it always had it. While the other half always have a sharp straight edge to them. I inspected the recording I made of the consumption time while idle. I noticed it switches between doing 2 dark pink pixels to taking them away about every couple frames. So it can't be my capture card as it keeps the frame stationary for more than a couple frames and then removes. At first I figured the two dark pink pixels would be a value of half so 50. After testing the value adding up total cost repeating moves and checking the bar pixels it sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. Of course active consumption makes that a pain to fully calculate any of this anyway. In the case of 6D it looks like a solid 1400 cost from the screengrabs, but when used multiple times it is actually not and comes to looking like St1ckbug's guess of 1325. Moves with the 2 dark pink pixels are the following: 2D, 4D, j6D, 214A, 632146D, 236236D, and 214A. Here is a image of the moves cost taken from screengrabs: Now looking at it and going off the pixel to energy of 100 energy per 1 pixel, and <100 energy per two dark pink pixels. That makes everything wrong off the bat from the jp wiki: 6D (looks 1400 but more around 1325), 2D (between 2001-2099), 4D (between 1001-1099), j6D (between 1001-1099), 214A (between 2001-2099), 214B (1600), 214C (1600), 214D (1600), 236D (1600), j214B (1600), 632146D (between 1001-1099), and 236236D (between 2001-2099). Most of the ones with ranges look to be around 50 or less for the value of the dark pink pixels added. Even the other ones which look like solid 1600 cost actually look more like 1530-1550 when you do multiple ones and add the value up. With all that said the graphical representation of Ignis energy is far from perfect to get exact values from. I say we go with the 6D change of 1325 from St1ckbug's find and keep the rest at the previous values until we can get some solid hardcore data. If we do get the correct data values later on we'll just go through and update all the values from the combo listings. #UpTooLateTimeToSleep
  20. 214A is your main tool of life for stopping rushdown and for getting in. If the character isn't rushing down (playing defensive, or charging) then you can try 214B to give you a opening. Send Ignis in and followup behind. If they block Ignis, go for a mixup. If they get hit see if you can 2D Ignis while she is still near them to hold them still longer for you to get in to combo.

  22. Nah I agree with you. His air game is lacking compared to the rest of the cast but he makes up for it with a really strong ground game. I personally have a love with using 236236D even for some reversal situations cause of it's armor, full screen carry, and mixup options.
