Could be possible, but I doubt it. If there was, it would probably be the time it takes for their character to turn around (which is like 4F if I recall), but I seriously doubt there is. Most likely you are messing up your hit boxes. -

No I'm pretty sure gravity has been around since X1. -

Gravity increases due to the length of the combo... or possibly, they simple don't launch as high with each hit the longer the combo gets. Easy evidence, use Venom, combo two dark angel's into Dust. They will barely fly up at all. -

I was pretty sure it did but I'm not entirely sure so I'll wait until someone can confirm one way or another. -

Flip top won't, your PStwo is made to open like that anyway. Playing burnt games WILL fuck up your PS2 in the long run. -

No, and HDD mod is a bit more complicated than just plugging in a hard drive. Best option for slim line is flip-top mod, which is just a few doodads you plug in and a boot disc. -

It's not a consecutive 3F but it is a total. It'll help you if you tap too early, for example. It's possible to hit good players with a Dust, but you can't use it primarily in a mixup. -

Yeah but he was asking about if he could TK moves off a low normal. Also, you have more like 2F to do reversals. There is an input buffer when waking up that actually gives you an extra frame to do shit, so you normally get 2F (this counts for reversal throws too, not sure about backdashes). For specials and supers, you also get Negative Edge, which means you can get at least 3F (not sure if the buffer counts for NE or not) for reversal. Plus if you are like Sol and have a DP on more than one button, you can roll both to increase your odds, so you could effectively have a 6F window to hit, which is really easy. -

I have no idea what you are talking about but you'd be wrong about anything you were talking about I think. -

Safe reversal if you've got one. Backdash is okay. Gold Burst if you really want to. Dead Angle if you think it'll help. Block otherwise. -

Not really. All moves are just defined by hit-box and hittable-box. Moves with X-body invulnerability just don't have a hit box on that X-part of their body. No idea about reversaling stuff in training mode, wish I knew. -
Now that I look at it, it looks like he's TKing his rapid slash attack and not his flying kick. Raoh infinite doesn't work on everyone AFAIK because it's something weird about running under the other person. But it works on at least two characters that I know of.

Reversal means the dude getting off the ground did a special or super move. That's the only time that shows up in GG. Reversal just means doing something on the first frame after recovery, including blocking or getting hit or whatever. Generally it's not used when talking about recovering from your own moves, as there's nothing getting 'reversaled' there. Usually that's just refered to as Linking (such as in Linking Sol's j.D to make Dustloop of yore). -

I played with that layout for like 3 years. Sucked trying to switch off of it, I still fuck up some stuff now and then. -

Throwing when people land is weird. You can time the grab so you effectively grab them on the frame they land, which actually causes the game to never show them hitting the ground. It also lets you do weird stuff like throw their air hitbox from the ground. Not really sure why you can't land and throw on the first frame, probably just more weird GG mechanics. It's only 1 frame though as far as I know, people land and throw all the time. -

Sounds familiar, but I don't remember if there are any rules that determine when/why that happens. -

2K 2S Gunflame = Tech Forward into big damage combo, yeah. I have to catch myself from doing that now and then. Standing and just doing a gunflame (non-OTG) isn't bad either. j.S and j.HS are both totally safe Oki if done properly though, gunflame is just easier. -

Yes, actually it is. If you know what moves give you +4, then you know what moves you can IB and throw someone for doing. If you know you can block a certain way to recover faster, then you can create a gap and escape, where otherwise you might not. Knowing how much advantage a move can give you lets you setup better frame traps as well as telling you what you can link for pressure or combos. It lets you know what is possible outside of trial and error methods. You can learn a lot from frame advantage. You don't need it, but it can help you learn as well as give you a concrete explanation for why things work. -

Not true. Also not true. Projectiles cause more guard stun than physical hits do by some number around 3-4F longer. For CSE it's either 20 or 21, I've forgotten. This is because on projectiles, only the projectile and the defender suffer hit-pause. This means that the attacker gets bonus frames because he never has hitpause, which is unlike a melee attack. -
Well, he's getting a ton of extra boost. I have no idea why though, might involve some form of canceling his blowback attack, which is normally what gives such huge chunks of boost. No clue though.

Joe's is "Tiger Kick". I think they changed the input on Sagat's TK to just 623 after a while didn't they? -
Sticky the video posting thread.

Stick is basic Happ stick AFAIK, which is good enough. Jap sticks aren't any better than US sticks, so get whatever you like.
