Arcade version doesn't really matter. Console version of the game is the US standard, that's what all tournaments are run on. -

Yes, you can. You don't have to hit all 3 buttons on the same frame. The timing still comes down to whatever frame you hit the last button on. -
Street Fighter stick is good but the buttons are pretty bad. Very easy to replace with some Happ buttons though, I don't think you even need to solder anything.

Oh, got them mixed up I guess. MOST Hori's don't use Sanwa.

Sanwa is the part manufacturer, HRAP is a model of stick made by Hori. Hori's HRAP sticks don't have Sanwa parts but they are fairly close, and they are still quite good. Any stick made with Sanwa parts though will be pretty good. Pelican is an OK base to start with, but you really have to swap out the stick/buttons with real Happ stuff for it to be good. I've also heard the universal has a lot of lag issues with converters and stuff.

That's what I figured. Doesn't really seem like a better option than using A. You CAN do loops normally with j.C if you push yourself back far enough (or start from really far away), but it's kinda wonky. Maybe you could do this: CD 6, 2C D D IAD j.C |> 236D ... or something like that. I'll screw around with it later. -
Well I'll admit, Toki is fun as hell to play because he's just retardedly silly and good. It's like you pick him, and you feel like you've entered a cheat code.

The annoying thing is a lot of Ken's combos work weird on certain characters. For example, his 236D loops will wiff near the corner against Shin/Thouther and a few others. You can modify it to make it work, but I haven't really found a GOOD alternate version. Normally you do... CD 6, D 236D IAD j.C |> 236D IAD j.C > etc. Against Shin I've found that it works doing: CD 6, 2C D 236D IAD j.A |> D 236D IAD j.A That's obvious sub-optimal because of the j.A being such a weak attack. I don't know what else to use, but next time I get a chance to actually sit down by myself, I'll look at the damage on 1 hit of j.D and see if that might be a better option (and if it even works). Also I want to experiement with high bounce combos (CH AA 623B for example), want to try a 623A loop. :o -
Thouther knocks off stars so fast and does so little damage that you can just use a FKO every round!

Yes, yes it is. It's awful, Raoh charges up, but no matter what you do, you can't stop it or punish it because he IS gonna kick you in the face if you try to. Speaking of which, can you Musou cancel Raoh's Taunt or backdash? ;o

I've heard there's ways to make it work on every character by adjusting timing and such actually. You can probably just avoid using the hjc string by using the alternate one (j.A C D or whatever) too. -

In this game, if you get hit, you're already dead. It might just take like 30 seconds of them comboing you.

You can't take off more than 3 stars unless command throws are involved, so probably not. On the bright side, the more shit people figure out now, the more they can fix for the next version.

Well I'm probably totally wrong since I can't remember for sure. I would swear you could though. Maybe it's a NJC or something... you need to cancel the normal into a jump and cancel that to burst. I don't remember. I seem to recall having done something like corner PB, 2HS Gold Burst > more combo ... when someone tried to burst out of the corner combo. Might just be totally crazy though. -

You can't gold burst while in wakeup state but you CAN reversal gold burst as you wake up, effectively working like a reversal DP. You can use it to go through Eddie's unblockable and stuff. You don't need to IB anything, and you can cancel normals into burst so it's not really that hard to do as long as you can see the burst coming. -

It's not possible to do stuff like this really, not against solid Oki. 1F jump is still vunerable to attacks because it still has 1F startup. Besides, you can't throw him anyway. Fact of the matter is that you have to be within a certain distance to throw someone. If you have a move that has a hitbox infront of you, it may just be impossible to throw that person because you cannot get within range without getting into their hitbox. So basically if someone throws an attack with a good hitbox, you aren't going to air throw them. What you can possibly do is jump, block, throw (works against Pote's j.D easily), but that doesn't help if you are near the ground already. Against Sol's j.H Oki, you could try reversal DPing, 6Ping, backdashing (if you've got a good one), or just blocking. Assuming he's actually doing it right, there really isn't anything you can do, so start blocking. -

To a degree, some characters might want to block to be able to pull a DAA. I use this a lot with Potemkin, because he can get damage off his DAA. Sure, I'd rather just get a clean hit or throw, but some times it's just easier to block > DAA. This is a lot moreso in HnK though, which has some really dumb shit related to DAA's. -

No. You never want to be blocking. Period. If you can hit someone before they hit you, you don't have to block. If you can rush someone down so they can't attack at all, you don't have to block. You never want to block, ever.
